He is the Grandfather of all Custom Rom´s from our TG01.
I think it is also an option to give the device to him, as a gift for his work.

I did not forget about cedesmiths great achievements as "THE STARTER" of ROM-developement, but I thought it to be o.k. to give the TG01 to someone who actually works with it. I dont find a possibility to change the poll, but what we can do: "Nokser" doesn´t want the TG01, so maybe we can use his name as an "avatar" for cedesmith, means: If you want to vote for cedesmith, just vote for nokser. If nokser wins the poll, we all have in mind that the "real" winner is cedesmith.
I hope thats okay, especially for nokser. Or maybe someone knows how to edit a poll, please tell me.

i think the chef´s will still donated, cause there are present here. the most of them had an device or got already enough donations to buy one.
but no one donates to cedesmith anymore.
he got really really less donations for his work. cause the people at this point dont now what comes out and didnt realize how important his work was.

I don`t think voting like this works, cause some dude will just uses multiple account for multiple votes. Just talk to the chefs them selves and they decide who need it the most, voting by us is useless.

He did almost everything for us. Without him, nothing would be possible now.
It's just fair to give the device to cedesmith, since it was promised to him by Wen before.
He also maybe wants to work on porting Android on the TG01. That would be a great effort.
But that's just my opinion...

I was not going to say anything, but I cannot just sit here and let everything believe something that is not true. Yes, I believe Cedesmith did wonders for us. Without him we would not have cooked roms, but I believe we cooks are doing just as much. For those of you who think I already got enough for a device, that is far from the truth. I have over 2200 downloads for my roms and I did not even get a thrid of what I paid for my own dvice. So for those of you who think I do this just for the money are totally wrong.

Hi guys i know that it is possible to overclock a rom without external software. Does anyone of you guys know wich files need to be edited or hexchanged in order to clock the prophet by default higher ?

When you get any basic people skills I might be more inclined to care about your opinion.
If my ROM sucks, you don't have to use it. Maybe you should try cooking a ROM? And then we can criticise you randomly and with no justification at all.

I could be entirely wrong about this, but it could be due to the fact that the volunteers that spend their own time to cook and mod ROMs do so with no real expectation in return... they do it for fun, experience (and the occasional gratuity) and share their work with us. If you read through this forum, you might see that people are at a minimum cordial to one another - critique of someone's work is one thing and appreciated, but insulting and debasing comments only affect our impression of you - and doesn't really incline anyone to assist.

I remember when I came up with the solution to slide from top to button of screen to cativate the cube on older phones. God and one of this Angels made a app that let you choose how long the slide should be and even put a copyright on it... well it was mine and the prophet comunety's weeks of sleepless night figuring this out... did I or any one els get a thank you? NO
My first contribute to the Prophet comunety was the HTC Camer 4.11 that I spent months on getting to work.. God PM me for it to use in his Artemis rom did I get a thank you? NO

No screenshots, no time.
For users, download the cab, disable TF3D, install cab, enable TF3D.
For cookers, you know what to do EDIT: There were some keys missing on the registry for starting up TF3D, eras2r provided a fix here. Thanks eras2r!

Thanks for your contribution pfc. I read the link and would like to let you know that I am concerned the way the experienced people feel nowadays. I am far away from cooking or as a matter of fact developing any application, however, I enjoy flashing and learning new things from this website. I am sure I would never contribute since technology is growing much faster than I could catchup.

I just got bored and going to start dumping roms and repackaging. Don't take it personally.
These include OEMs only. Double check the packages before cooking to make sure they are complete. All the extra files are in a folder called EXTRAS.
This is only the first...more to come

thats pretty ironic in this forum , we've been breaking protections to flash roms on htc hardware, i don't think we asked their permission. People do this because they can, and people like to share their work.

p.s. If you can't already tell, I'm not okay with someone just taking my stuff without asking first. Everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) I cook with is freely available on this forum if you search for it. The only thing I do is put it all together. And THAT's where the skill comes into play... and I don't appreciate THAT being stolen.
I don't know about this. I'm glad someone posted oems that I wanted. But not glad that you've posted the chef's work. I think you may be asked to remove things that the chefs have done themselves, such as NRGZ28's welcomeheads and graphics and icons and Aruppenthal's icons and graphics.
I've gotta jump in here. When a "chef" dumps the ROM from their device, is that not "stealing" from microsoft or HTC? There are people sitting at a computer coding all the software that work for these companies and putting in their hard work too. Did you ask them if it's OK to take their work, change it all up, then release it for free to the public? I think not.
That being said, I hardly think it is justified for ANYONE on this forum to release a customized ROM **(it's not THEIR ROM... In order for it to be YOUR ROM, YOU must hand write EVERYTHING from scratch, thus creating your own operating system)** to mandate to anyone that they must ask for permission to alter/relase anyones work.
Look at it this way - at least he mentioned whos ROM he dumpped! Many of the chefs here could take someone elses customized ROM, change it a little here and there, release it and call it their own.

no. nobody is forced to do so & it will be always as freeware. There are a lot of better ROM out there & even u can make it urself. A paid things will have a price. Mine is enough if u show a very tiny appreciation to my little effort.
It a kind of pointless of countless sleepless hours to serve someone who dont even need it.

Even though most input to a thread is typically provided by the topic starter/chef, I'd like to think we all put our collective knowledge into it.
To just delete all of that because someone decides to move on feels wrong.
