i ve installed the sense's fb tab but when i remove it with (setting-remove program) it cant load the sense ui during startup. n when i reinstall it works again, but it still appear on the sense screen after i disable it in the tab settings. help pls

hi i found my friend using timescape on his HTC desire HD and i tried to install it(ONLY TIMESCAPE--CONSISTS OF 8 .APKs) to my phone the problems i faced were that the pixels for the timescape itself and the plugins to retrieve our contacts mms etc were not optimized to our phone
can someone port timescape onto our phone ???(coz i don't know @#$* ABOUT PORTING)

Tried It everything works like it should just two bugs........ I've asked the developer....... Most probably it should be usable in a while!

Yeah..... The other one is that it needs to be optimized for our resolution!..... So that we can get visible texts and the media messaging and camera bar!...
P.s. : the facebook log in bug is fixed... I tried it... Now Facebook and twitter both work perfectly!

i got the problem below
1 plugins force closing
2 app hangs on entering options
3 graphics settings are wrong(unable to view properly)
4 widget unable to install
5 unable to install launcher provided(separate arc launcher is working)
can u help
did u change the framework too??
i installed only the timescape and copied permissions (even build.prop)
can u post the fixed facebook app??

There aren't any changes in the app itself..... For facebook and twitter to work open root explorer, long press on build.prop and select open in text editor.....
Now search for the line
ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
And change it to
ro.product.manufacturer=SonyEricsson
It should work!
Oh also ensure that you Root explorer is in read write mode.....

And no, I did not make any changes frame work..... As for the widgets and app not installing...... copy them using root explorer!

um.... try setting the app from the app drawer rather than from the widget itself....... and the force close errors do come but the plugin and widget works..... plus today my exams got over so i'll look into the app myself and see what can i do!
When I use my flyer it happens randomly that HTC sense is frozen. I still be able to use status bar and launcher but I can't see my apps and Widgets (only the wallpaper lol) to bring it back I have to manually turn HTC sense both service and app off. I didn't find any help so I posted it there. I am not using a task killer. Does anyone could help me fix it?

What widgets have you installed, which use you on the homescreen, which Android version?

The only installed are the stock Widgets and only the scribe, calculator, agenda and weathers are used on homescreen. The version is GB 2.3 stock from videotron.
I use GO launcher as it is a really nice app, but since version 2.87 I cannot add new widgets or wallpapers anymore. Clicking on 'Add' on Preferences or long clicking the background does nothing.
I had the problem under 2.3.3 but after upgrade to ICS 4 the problem persisted.
Is this a known problem ?
I know this might sound quit stupid, but how do i disable themer from starting up with my phone? Once my phone is booted i ofc get my launcher (Trebuchet) but Themer runs on the background. I tried killing it as process and service but somehow it stays restarting haha.
As i still cannot decide to use Trebuchet or Themer as main launcher, i preferable wont delete Themer..

so far i've rooted it using kingo and installed titanium and root explorer, and backed up the existing partitions using adb, but what i'm quite keen to do is modify the main launcher screen. at present i cant change the 7 apps on the main windows phone style launcher screen and I want to replace them with alternatives or replace the launcher.
I've sideloaded nova and a couple of other launchers, but whilst I can load them from the app draw, there is no option to set a new default launcher, and the home button always loads the pre-installed launcher, which is some chinese launcher listed as DX_launcher02 in the app draw and daxun.launcher.activity in system/ app folder, I've tried apps like launcher switcher, which have no effect on the default as the options is greyed out.
I've also tried freezing the built in launcher with Titanium, thinking it might then default to nova, but the home button( both hardware and soft buttons) then just loads a blank screen, so I used the recent app menu to go back to titanium and unfreeze the stock launcher.
I'm suspecting there might be a more complicated way to change the launcher, either by editing apk properties and changing the default app to point the shortcuts/tiles to new apps, or by setting a new default launcher, so if anyone can help, it would be much appreciated?
My friend bought exact same model.
He has problem with auto shutdown. Navigating or not - recording or not - there will be pop up that countdowns 10sec auto shutdown.
To abort shutdown - touch the screen. And of course - touching the screen doesn't help.
Have you found any solution for this?

Hi I do not know too much about this Android device, but I bought one (Crane_cvr) frm Tingway and it was full of Chinese software. Trying to delete it was not successful and loading Google Play was impossible. The sellers sent me an "new" h200-2.img file which I installed with Phoenixsuite. However, my functionality of the GPS disappeared. I have even connected another working GPS, to no prevail. Since it seems you have lot more knowledge, do you have an idea how I can get the GPS working? I have now been trying for 2 months. GPS Toolbox / Test / etc .. do not pick up any satellites, but it seems the GPS is detected.
