Hi am using a dopod u1000 .my device got hung with the dopod logo so i tried flashing it through bootloader .i have a locked version of SPL-v1.11.0000 and IPL -v2.02 I downloaded the ROM from the thread in here (megaupload,com/?d=6NEK86NY]) but when it reach 12 percent of the upgrade it stops and a error message is shown (ERROR[262]:UPDATE ERROR).I tried recovery option many time but the process stopped in 12 percent only .....CAN anyone plz help me to fix it and i want a proper ROM too...
First unlock your phone, update radio, hard SPL with SPL 1.2 or 3.5
but how do I unlock SPL to a higher versio am stuck with bootloader now

I have same problem. Have you tried flashing original DODOP U1000 rom? or flashing via MINI-SD card?

Hi all,
I've tried to flash my phone with RRU (underground edition crossbow.exe), update said everything ok, it started to upload new rom into phone, but at 96% it stopped with error 302. After passing the recovery process it boots just into bootloader. Tried to run again, the same.
Screen shows:
IPL 2.17.0001
SPL 2.17.0001
ActiveSync v. 4.2
Phone was unlocked (was showing Vodafone boot logo, but I've used o2 simcard without problem)
Obviously don't know if phone have CID locked or not.

During th eflash of my rom radio with 1.54.00.10 the program stopped and my mobile restart in bootloader.
The problem is that the flash program doesn't want to restart flashing and my mobile stay on bootloader menu.

Did you try to flash your original shipped ROM entirely to the device?
What is IPL/SPL on your device?

I flashed with RUUWrapper.exe on my PC with usb connection but during the verification the soft said me error 260 the device not connect.
Is there a possibility to flash the rom radio without PC, directly on my mobile ?

Looks like the FLASHING TOOL is not compatible to your device! What OPERATING SYSTEM are you using?
I am not sure if your device is already CID unlocked?
If you run on XP and your device is CID unlocked use the CustomRUU (search the forum), if not: read the WIKI!

HELLLP (ive been upgrading since the xda II) and i recently got a tmobile hermes with wm5! then got wm6 upgraded it and got to about 78% and my pc died and then i tryed recovery did not work had to go to work so i left it! got back and ive tryed so many more upgrades of the image with no luck its stuck on splash screen! ive placed it into bootloader mode then ran ruu wrapper and it gets to the bit of updrading (25mins and a progress bar) and the phone goes white with upgrading image 0% then on the pc i get error 262!! and thats as far as i got please can some1 help thankyou so much

i have ATHENA 100 in T-MOBILE Ameo........ i update lot of rom's on my ameo with success . my phone status is: IPL-v1.00 SPL-v1.20. Olipro.
my bad luck i try to update with that rom (Athena_SPL3.5_WM6.1_WWE_R6.1-Michy) after 92% rom got error & phone restart. after that my Ameo hang on startup. i put my phone into usb mode by pressing CAMERA key + POWER & try to upgrade with lot of diffrent roms but i got ERROR[244] INVALID MODEL ID (pic attached below) plz help me how can i update my phone in working condition??>......................
Dear friend
I think you have to install the original rom on your phone , not another cooked ROM.
If you can do that , your phone will be downgrade to original spl .

my frnd i got the 100% same problem pls do let me know if u could get rid of it im also trying my best to solve this but im still there....
Set your wifi adress with Mtty software after that upgrade with original rom all ok.

The phone is sim locked, and i think this may be one of the problems(but i could be mistaking).
I cannot flash hardspl, not even sspl, radio or a rom. I've tried even flashing from the sdcard, but of course no result.
When i use Ruu, all goes whell until the phone reboots, on the computer i get the update error 262, and on the phone it stucks at 0%.
Please help me i lost a half a day with this phone.

The Touch Dual comes in several varieties. A bit more information is needed.
Take the battery out the back and read the model number.
i ve managed a few minutes a go to flash hard spl, a new radio version, an a coocked 6.5 rom. but the phone it's still sim locked so i think that cidunlocking didn't work.
I have the 16 key version, Niki 100.

CID unlock it. You'll need to downgrade the SPL to Hard1.15 to do so. Re run SSPL, and then HardSPL 1.15 and follow the steps in the CID unlock thread.

hi guys,
trying to upgrade the radio rom, im using the customRUU and its getting to about 99% and then its getting the error 290: invalid command.
and now it only boots in the red, green, blue and white bootload screen.
heres some info if it helps:
SPL-1.42.HSPL on my hd2..
windows 7 home premium, (i tried running as admin, no difference.. also tried several other usb ports)
help would be appreciated!

have you tried a good ol MTTY or Task29 before flashing?
does the phone boot to RGD screen?
what Radio you using?
And you have the phone HSPL unlocked?
dodgy download perhaps? tried another radio?
did anyone find the solution to this problem??

What exact ROM versions have you tried, and what SPL or HSPL do you have showing in bootloader? Also is there a radio currently on your HD2 and what is that radio if so?
normally phone hd2 leo and italy not t mobile ant spl 208 hardspl maked bootmode okay ( also write boot with jtag ) radio ver 2.15.50.14

I had the same problem. I was trying to restore my phone to original firmware, due to issues with custom firmwares. I had managed to extract the NBH from the installer provided by my carrier, and used CustomRUU to flash the phone, but the phone was not booting.
I then flashed one of the EnergyROM builds onto my phone.
After that I could not get the original firmware onto the phone, error 290 at 9%.
I booted my phone into the bootloader (red/blue/green), and used HSPL2 to set SPL to 1.42.HSPL. I could then flash the original firmware.
My phone is now working fine, as best I can tell.
Always showing bootloader screen with rom upgrade error
I was trying to revert to windows custom rom from android (due to frequent freezing) and then onwards booting the phone I am always getting the bootloader screen displaying rom upgrade error.
I tried hard reset but still the same problem persists, then I downgraded the HSPL 2.08 to SPL-1.42.HSPL and then tried reinstalling the custom rom but still the same problem persists. In between after downgrading the HSPL, I tried task 29, it was unsuccessful after 96% (shows Invalid Command (Error 290)), while reinstalling the customRUU I have, I got something like error 270 at the end (it goes fine till 100%).
I also tried with installing the radio (ver 2.15.50.14) in between but to no effect
Please help me in fixing the issue, my phone is of no use now
