I know it's kind of a special version of Omnia II (well, no touch and it is with a qwerty keyboard) but does anyone have info about flashing it, unbranding it???

I sold my Magician and 'upgrade' to IIi. :lol: :lol: When I was using the old Magician, I could use all other roms provided by different 'vendors'. Can we do the same in IIi and how ???? Also, can some one tell me what is the most update roms version in IIi ??? :?:

Seconded....many times we've asked for this. Particularly when it comes to the Upgrading forum
I think we should also have a section designed for certain software apps, like Pocket Plus and PZP - as these would fall into (almost if not) all the phone sections.

Hey a seperate are for XDAIIi's is a great idea - how about a graphic to go along with it as well that can be used in our profile?
Yeah im all for a seperate IIi forum, its not that much hasslte to setup a new orum space.
Could a mod attach a poll and let the results of the poll decide ?
It'll be good chance to pour more effort into this great bit of hardware instead of linking it to it's older sibbling.
I don't think the XDAIIi will ever have enough SERIOUS users to warrant it's own forum. There are very few people who are well educated about POcket PCs that would buy an Alpine. It's too little, too late, with no WM2005 future and newer, better phones around the corner.
Hey guys, I've searched the forums but can't find an answer I really understand, I was wondering if someone could help me.
I bought an HTC Touch2 from Ebay and it has the Asian ROM with the PinYin keyboard. It's pretty annoying because I don't have access to the compact QWERTY or T9 keyboard, which I really need because I've got massive fingers.
I'd like to change my ROM to one that has all the keyboard options but I don't really understand the process...
1. What ROM would I need to change to? Will it work in my country (Australia)?
2. How could I do this? I know it has something to do with HardSPL but I don't know what to do and I'm terrified of bricking my new phone...
If anyone could help that'd be really appreciated

I got some stupid questions.
I wanted to buy an X10 mini pro as a secondary phone but i got some questions i didnt really found answers for.
Here they sell usually german phones so is it possible to change the language to swedish (I saw the keyboard seems to be kind of international)? And will it be a problem getting special characters like äöå on it (and enter from the keyboard) ?

My Milestone 2 have not a working touch screen, so I need a ROM that I could receive and answer calls, unlock my phone by slide or some move with keyboard.. a special accessibility pack.

My friend handed me 2 Go live S2 mobiles which is Lock for network use . I was looking forward to Change the ROM which i think after changing will start working anywhere internationally . GO live S2 is thailaind brand "I guess"
