Anyone know how to remove the bottom toolbar? tried several mods but they all seems to be outdated.
Try flashing a CleanEx DsE 6.5.x rom
The bottom taskbar has been remapped onto the hardware buttons.
Now 6.5.x works like it was meant to on our phones.

No run WM6.1, Universal
i am using an htc universal with a vga screen
here are the results:
96dpi = runs fine in true vga mode
128 and 192dpi = start menu transfers to the bottom but is offset and original startmenu at the top does not go away.

Why would you want to, anyway? 21XXX builds are still being updated (as far as I know) and the only real difference between those and the 23XXX is the taskbar... So why not just flash a 21XXX?
I flashed a 21xxx rom and i preferred 28xxx rom. the difference is that 28xxx roms have details that makes it far superior compared to 21xxx. i wouldn't want to give up that rom for 1 app. also, roms for palm treo pro aren't updated that often... But the guys there are still doing their best.

i agree with this. one reason i can't go upgrade to the newer builds as well is because of the "on screen keyboard" overlapping problem with the softkey bar. using 23xxx means that i need to get stuck with HTC Ezinput - which i hate so much.

Oh, right... So you want the newer builds for the stability, etc. but don't want the bottom taskbar?
I haven't used a 21XXX in ages and wasn't aware there was so much missing

you may use fingerkeyb, it will not overlap, at least if you set the right value 68 instead of 52 in the skin settings
As you may know, the top black bar is showing your bluetooth, wifi, signal strength, and battery icons. However you have a choice between the digital clock or your battery status (almost like a togge). I know that the reason of the toggle and not allowing both is a space issue, but i never use bluetooth and i would much rather have a clock and battery status insted of a useless bluetooth one. Is there a way to put both clock AND battery icons on the top?
BattClock.
You can download a custom taskbar I use diniks taskbar
Battclock is the best.
below is my post configuring Battclock to suit my needs,
you can check the whole thread and c other possibilities.

Google Batt line service
It puts a very thin line above the task bar and represents the charge on your battery, it totally kicks ass, I used it always before I switched to the newer 6.5.x builds.
You will love it.

don't know what you mean. sorry. I wanted to see if the Sense lockscreen can be modded. Maybe not the ring but the round circles where the apps are. I wanted to see if I can add my own. Is this possible and if so, how.
thanks.

When you said homescreen, I figured you meant the screen you have after you unlock, which is part of whatever launcher you are using. However, I do not know where the location of what you are trying to do offhand. I haven't used sense in a while.

It is inthe idlescreen_base.apk. You must use the M10 editor to get into the files. I know some have made some changes to removing the clock etc. So I am goign to say it's probably possible, but no one has done moved those buttons. Myself have it on my list cuase I want to add a 5th and 6th buton myself.
Hey guys, i recently installed a new custom ROM (mySENSEdx5 RC 4.0), and i flashed custom transparent app drawer by xpirt so it made my menu be transparent...Thing is, i want the dock to be transparent too. Is there anything i can do about it or i will have to leave it as it is now. I don't want to use any launchers such as nova, go, apex etc...
And secondly, the ROM came with costumized panel which i want to delete but i can't do it, remove option is grayed out, is there anything i can do about it ? It has some widges that i don't need like news highlights and stuff, it's really ugly tbh.
Thanks in advance

Hey man thanks for the link. Got it working. Sorry I didn't make it clear for my second issue. Thing is I have 3 pannels on my home screen. One of the pannels has already been there when I installed custom ROM. I hate that pannel, it shows me things that I don't want to see on homescreen...picture of pannel is attached in post. I want to delete it but I don't know how. When I slide 3 fingers from corners of screen to middle it opens up cpstumization of pannels. When I press down to drag that pannel into "remove" it is grayed out and it seems that I can't delete it. Is there anything that I can do to delete that pannel ?
