hey, can anybody recommend me a good dock/cradle for the HTC Hero (Europe)?
The official one is around £30, which is very expensive for a dock/cradle. Does anybody know of any similar ones for cheaper?
Not the tacky ones off ebay or anything.

The problem with these docking stations is that you can't fit the phone into one that has a case fitted to it. I wish they would bring out some. Something alittle like the apple x-stand!

Good find- this is what I have been looking for. Not sure about the fit though- seems a bit 'messy'; else I might just go for this.
i was looking for manufacturer of these cases, but only one closest i can figure out is firm which produce also cases for psp. I'm not 100% shure but it seems to be good quallity.
till now I havent found anything better and I'm still looking. it is a pitty but I cannot buy from this shop meaby someone else found something like this in UK shop??

I've had this for a few days now and taken it out for a couple of runs, the second of which was in light rain across muddy terrain. The case has kept the hero clean and dry.
The strap is neoprene, or at least looks like neoprene. The screen is transparent plastic, and is sewn on to the neoprene - it doesn't look completely waterproof, but it was adequate.
The phone is secured in the case by just a double-flap of neoprene, but strapping the case onto your arm provides more security.
Overall I'm satisfied with it, particularly for 5 pounds. It's not the greatest quality, but it does the job. Thanks to Sallcho for the tip.

The hero fits very well in this Arm Wallet. While running your hero doesn't move around.
It has also a rubber headphone outlet for MP3 or phone wire.

As you can see in pictures of this Arm Wallet it is not transparent. So if you want to use your phone you will have to take it out of the Arm Wallet.
It's not really a problem for me because I use it for gps tracking while running/cycling and don't have time to use my phone then

Fits hero good, doesnt fit my arm so unless you have really really thin arms it wont work well.
Found one in WalMart
I am in the military and over the past weekend I found a couple in the PX that would work. There was a black one and a camouflage one. My daughters recommended that I buy one and I didn't. If you know someone in the military, they can get you one of those.
If not, you could get the Belkin like I had to do from WalMart for $20. It is a neoprene case and it works perfect.
By the way, the one from the PX was about $12.

this is my third htc phone and so far ive only liked oem cases for each. sadly att doesnt include the cases. with the touch pro i found the model number for the case being PO S400 and searched and found an ebay item with that and was happy but i cant find something like this for the touch pro 2. i can even find the diamond being PO S390 and the hd2 as PO S510. where is the elusive tp2 case? i just want a stock slip sleeve case with no clip ons, rubberized, belt clips or any of that.
I'm still using mine because I haven't seen one that I like better. I have to shake it a bit to get the phone out, but I really like the slimness of it. Can't get to the phone one handed, but until I find a case that protects as well as this one, and is as pocketable I won't change. Wish I could help you locate one. Good luck!

Has anyone seen any cases like this that fit the G-Tab? I know about the custom one out there, but I like the idea of this slim, rubber one.

yeah, the apple logo would kind of ruin the whole thing, but i would actually have no problem sticking an android sticker over it if the case had holes and stuff that actually fitted the g-tab.

Me Too!! The Apple case was perfect, totally changed my iPad. Light, this and could lay or stand.
I was at a Verison wireless store the other day. They had a generic case for the Ipad without the apple logo that looks like it would work.
I might take my G Tab there and see how it fits.

In thinking about buying one of the gel skins off eBay USA. I've just got the tablet and I'm finding it a bit plasticky and hollow sounding. I'm thinking that a skin might deaden the sound a bit.
Can anyone vouch for the quality of them?

Looks good and US $11.99 is not a bad price. Amazon.com has the same item labeled "by Sony" in black (ASIN: B007BXZI2O) and purple (ASIN: B007BXZYPA) for US $7.99 with free Amazon Prime Membership 2-day shipping. Non-Prime standard 3-day shipping is probably US $2.99, but I'm guessing the cost.

I ordered one from Amazon.com and will receive it tomorrow evening. After I install it on the tablet, I will post here to let you know whether or not the skin covers the IR sensor.
Edit: I received and installed the skin. Fits well. None of the tablet's features (power plug, buttons, speakers, etc.) are blocked. And yes, there is a hole for the IR sensor.

I really want one to make the tablet feel more solid in the hand. As much as I love Google and hate Apple I really miss the build quality of my old iPad 1. I also think HC is an abomination of an OS - What were Google thinking!!

I purchased a black skin (ASIN: B007BXZI2O) from Amazon.com, so go to their web site to see photographs. I like the skin. Its color is a perfect dark charcoal. It fits very well and tighly hugs the tablet's form. When I am handling the tablet, the skin does not feel like it is going to fall off and the back part does not feel floppy. It has a good industrial rubber feel and it makes the tablet feel more solid and protected, which is a plus for me because I am an industrial controls engineer and I frequently use my tablet in the field. The skin has openings in all the right places and does not block any of the tablet's features. I feel purchasing the skin was a wise choice.

Yes, I have a cradle and no, the tablet will not fit into the cradle if the skin is on it. But the skin is easy to remove and put back on (I do it carefully, taking my time), so it is not a problem for me.

I got the skin in the post the other day. I'm not too impressed with it TBH. It is not the snuggest of fits - its a bit loose.
I don't think I'll use it TBH. I'm getting used the plastic nature of the Tablet S.

I purchased a Black Silicone Skin from Amazon.com six weeks ago and so far it's held up nicely. I remove the skin nightly so I can put my tablet in its cradle and put the skin back on every morning, and today it still fits as snug as it did the first time I put it on my tablet.
