hey all,
1,I'v take pic by my android G3 (HTC Hero)
2,And I set the pic as wallpaper cut by myself.
3,For some reason, the original pic was removed.
4,But the wallpaper still displayed.
5,How could I get the pic back from the wallpaper.
Maybe you just tell me where is the fold or file contain the executive wallpaper.
My system have been rooted based on official 2.1 ROM.
Google is your friend.
The current wallpaper should be at:
/data/data/com.android.settings/files/wallpaper
and in a .jpg format.
Found at:
links.wordpress.com/2009/08/20/android-wallpaper-location/
Thank you guy. I'v get my current wallpaper back by your way.
Really thanks.

So ever since seeing the ASUS Mywater live wallpaper a few months ago, I absolutely loved it. Not having a Honeycomb tablet, I couldn't use the .apk available in a thread somewhere on this forum. Once ICS came out, I figured that it would work on that. I was able to install the app, but if I set it as the wallpaper, it FCs [ the preview also shows the ice cubes as white blocks]. However, the ASUS weather widget works perfectly fine, and looks great with Launcher7. Is there any way I can get the Mywater wallpaper to work? By the way, I'm on an HD2 with a CM9 based ROM, IceCreamTosti.
Thank you for any suggestions.
Hello all,
I am hoping some friendly individual can help me. I am looking for a tutorial on how to create the spinning cube live wallpapers that display an image. I want to create a custom live wallpaper for my wife for our anniversary. I don't just want to buy a photo cube wallpaper, I want to make it myself.
Thank you for any help provided! :-D

I cant find the exact link right now, but go to android developers.com and then to tutorials. In the tutorials there will be a 3d cube live wallpaper.

Hi, I am looking for the original Nexus S live wallpaper that came stock with gingerbread on our Galaxy SII's that works on Jellybean 4.1.2. On the original Nexus S live wallpaper the lines moved on grid, it still had the updated background from the Nexus S but still moved on a grid. I am NOT looking for the variant were the lines move freely and have depth, some being close and some being far. I am looking for the original where all the lines are at the same size (no depth) and move on an invisible grid. It must work on Jellybean 4.1.2. Thank you in advance.
im on 13.0 and it has live wallpapers but not my favorite my favorite is the falling leaves, the stock rom has it but no idea how to get it out
Stuff from stock rom is proprietary.
oh, ok :crying:
the falling leaves live wallpaper is not proprietary to this phone though i have had i dont know how many phones had the EXACT same live wallpaper
