I have a HTC Hurricane / SPV C550
I am using a WM 6.1 rom right now, but that is in English/Chinese (some programs are still in Chinese after i have changed language to English).
Is it possible to make a Dutch WM6.1 ROM for HTC Hurricane / SPV C550 ?

Hi, I have an Orange UK HTC Touch Dual with 16 keypad.
I want to flash with the NetrunnerAT Portuguese Rom:
RUU_Nike_HTC_PTG_1.31.410.09_Radio_Nike_1.58.16.27_signed_Ship
There's any problem because almost all nikes are 20 keypad?
Please help me before I begin flashing rom and installing hard spl...
anyone can help me please? I dont know if there's any difference because the keypad...
The only thing I know is that normally it doesn't matter which version keypad you have.
But there is an issue with this portuguese rom that XT9 for Portuguese isn't working with the hardware keypad. There is a work around but that one is only working for the 20 keys version.

So, there's not a Portuguese Rom that XT9 Portuguese is working?
I instaled the PTG Tom_Codon's rom in my 16 keys niki and the XT9 isnt working.
It only writes numbers, no letters at all.
Im still trying to find the PTG XT9 for the niki, if anyone have found it, just let me know.
Im having the same problem with my Neon. I installed Seths Diamond v2 and i cant text. Every key goes straight to number. No xt9. I'm using a English ROM tho. Maybe some extra files we need downloading?
Before i have same problem with chinese rom, can't input text...
Problem was solved by extracting xt9 dll's and reg's from another rom.

You wouldnt mind explaining to me would you?! This is a thorn in my side lol
1) I have downloaded cab file for Niki (20key version), thats included all required files for xt9. I found it on this site
2) I have extract all files from cab by SkTools, except key mapping files (Because it's 20key version cab, not 16). And have do the same operation for registry.
3) Next step is just move it to \windows folder and accept .reg files
4) After i have installed xt9 pack with russian language (because i'm russian)
and after SR xt9 start working
P.S. Now i use WWE rom without this problem for a long time, so i can't clearly remember what i have to do

I've installed WM 6.5 with HTC EzInput 1.5 LPack-PT RC1 (Portuguese)
The problem is that the hardware keyboard (16 keys) only inputs numeric values, if I change the language back to English it solves the problem.
Anyone knows the cause of this ? Any solution ?

had the same problem with mine niki100 20 keys but a simple soft reset solved it works f?ne now, exactly same version...

Soft reset solved your problem?
Onde arranjaste o HTC EzInput 1.5?
Because no ITA ROM 6.5 for Touch Pro is and will be available, and because the keyborad of the Italian HTC Touch Pro are different from WWE version, is there are any possibility to do work NOT only the normal keys of the keyboard but also all the special keys of the Italian keyboard ?
Because without the roght configuraiton is impossibile to use the kwyboard

you have to do this!
...first of all....look around!
then...
open registry editor:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD\CurLang
and change from 409 (english layout) to 410 (italian one) (HEX)
then restart your device.
obviously you have to select "Touch Pro" keybord instead then Fuze one from "Keyboard Selector" http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=490290

Sorry but I have just tried and doesn't work ...
All the norla keys are good after the change you suggested, but all the others function, like you have to do in combination with FN keys are not right, are not normal Italian Touch Pro Keyboard
Any suggestion or solution ?

First of all, many thanks for your ROM. I'm looking a long time for a wm6.5 PTG.
The ROM is working smoothly on my HTC Touch Dual.
My HTC is 20 key and this ROM is for 16 key model, and I've tried some fixes without success. (The Insomnia 20key fix for example).
The other thing not working is T9 PTG.
Some help would be appreciated.

I have to thank you so much for this ROM, you can't imagine how happy i'am to see a Portuguese ROM of the wm6.5, but i have the some problem about the keys, i have a 20 key niki as well, can you help us out in this one. Thank once again for the ROM. You Rock!!!
Camera not working?
Got this installed, and it's beautiful, thanks for the hard work!!
However, the camera when launched just shows black and doesn't take any pictures or even show what's been aimed at. Any ideas?

Strange thing, my model is 16 key but hardware keyboard only print numbers.
After 16.cab installation, same thing. Any ideas ?
