Hi,
I am facing a serious problem with my HD2. Whenever I recieve an SMS the timestamp it displays is one hour in the future i.e. if the current time is 2:00PM and I recieve an SMS, the timestamp will 3:00PM and then when I reply my reply instead of going below the recieved SMS will go above because it will have a timestamp of 2:00PM
The same happens with my outlook appointments that are synced with HD... all appointments are set 1 hour ahead.
Phone Specs:
OS: 5.2.21869
Manila: 2.5.19211619.0
ROM: 1.66.707.1
Please heeelp!

I have Palm Threaded SMS installed on my WM6 Hermes. Every so often a message gets caught in between the original SMS program and the threaded program and displays messages saying "2 Unread Messages" when there are none unread.
After redoing my whole OS for the billionth time a friend gave me instructions on fixing the issue. Install a registry editor like Total Commander, Clear out my inbox and turn on flight mode, Install Palm Threaded SMS, Open Total Commander and go to: \\ - Registry - HKLM - Software - Microsoft - Inbox - SVC, then Rename “SMS” to “SMS1.old” and Rename “MMS1” to “MMS1.old”, turn off power via power button, turn phone back on and turn off flight mode.
Yeah, so it worked okay for a week or 2, then the messages became stuck again.. showing "2 Unread Messages" when none were unread.
I also tried to display my normal "Inbox" on the today screen so that I had access to reading my outlook e-mail, and that display now ALWAYS says "SMS: 1 UNREAD"
Is there any new Threaded SMS program that won't allow messages to get caught between the programs? I'm so tired of having to reinstall WM6 in order to get rid of the Threaded SMS and reinstall it so that it doesn't say I have all of these messages that didn't go through, and now my SMS isn't even working properly. Apparantly people are receiving my texts, but their replies are not even coming through on my end at all. Help!
I could swear I just answered this...

hello guys,
i am using kumara's WM6.1 rom posted recently. and now i am facing a problem that the sms are shown as conversations and not as individual sms.
because of this i cant forward them and also can not delete them as if i try to delete one sms the whole conversation is deleted.
the conversation is also something different....the sms of a individual is shown together irrespective of date received.
please help me with this.
also the jeyo mobile extender is not working with my ROM...

No body has this setting in wm6.1 You need to create this key into Registry Editor
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s\OEM]
"SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:1

or use a cab that is attached in rom threads with some roms
Just search for softwares like SMS Tweaker, Mode SMS. They would help you to revert to the older style of Inbox found in WM6
dear users. Just found some problem with my sms last night. Every time when sms is sent, same message is sent many times to same number just after.
I got custom rom wm 6.1 0.7 tweaked and this issue never happened before.
the receiver got multiple sms, to stop sending these I have to delete inbox and drafts folders, any ideas, solutions?
please close this thread, I have flashed my Rose to wm 6.5 . Problem solved
btw if you still want to use a 6.1 version you can download "orange" version...I have tried many versions and this was the best one so far.

Hi,
I am new to this Forum and wish to seek your valuable experience and help in the hope to find a solution to my Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGS2) issue.
I have moved from HTC TouchPro2 on Windows Mobile 6.5 to SGS2 on Gingerbread 2.3.3.
The details of the SGS2 are:-
Baseband version: I9100DXKF1
Kernel version: [email protected]#2
Build: GINGERBREAD.XWKF1
As I have about 4,000 contacts and 10,000 messages hence it is important for me to retain as many details from my Contacts & Messages as possible when the migration is done.
To prepare for the migration of Contacts, I have used Mobiledit and have managed to move all those 4,000 contacts to SGS2 successfully
After the migration to the new SGS2, the problem of inconsistent Contacts details and unsuccessful “sent” error messages arise when I am Replying to Messages.
At present, I face the following problem:-
Before Migration
Outlook Contact”Field” From HTC:
First: Sales Section
Last: Ms X
Mobile tel: 91234567
After Migration
Edit Contact “Field” From SGS2
First Name: Ms X
Name Suffix: Sales Section
Mobile Phone: 91234567
In order to remain a “consistent” display of Contact on the SGS2 screen as my old HTC, I have switched the HTC “First” field to SGS2 “Name Suffix”.
I have tried replying messages to Ms X but unsuccessful. Upon checking on the entry fields of the SGS2 Contact, her mobile phone has now been changed to: N,+6591234567 or sometimes ,+6591234567. Therefore, the original phone number has been prefixed with N,+65 or ,+65 followed by the mobile number. Take note that there is always a comma (,) added to +65
A thing to note is that so far it has not affected many other mobile numbers. I will only get to know if it affects another number if my contact sends me a message and only when I reply and hit the “SEND” message button will I then know if that particular contact has been plagued by the N,+65 or ,+65 issue.
Sensing, that something is not right, I have deleted Ms X’s whole contact, shut down SGS2, restarted and re-keyed the same contact 91234567 BUT the problem persisted, when Messages are replied and the mobile phone changed to N,+6591234567 … again
Has anyone faced the same problem as above ? If yes, are there ways to rectify it.
Thanks.
Nuube
