After upgrading, my XDA's Today plugin 'Inbox' doesnt
notify (via popup or bold letters) any received sms/messages.
Any idea why??
:x
I installed the tweek from this site that allows for name integration of SMS.
I did this before going away at Xmas. I did not receive messages at all. One hard reset later and it is all working fine again.
SMS are very important, I receive a lot. So loosing them is not nice!!
I take any advice on such matters with caution now......

Hi all,
I've spent most of the day searching the net for an app that let's me register appointments, and offers the possibility to send sms confirmation "Dear customer, you have an appointment ... date... time", and to send a reminder like 24 hrs before D-Day "Please remember your appointment ... date ... time".
I found all kinds of goodies. Some to install on a Windows PC, some hosted online. But in all cases you need to purchase an SMS package.
On this forum I found f.ex. the miniSMS server. This showed me it is possible to make an app that can send SMS'es. Great, now I need a way to have a tool like a traditional calendar to enter appointments, and the option to send SMS as described. I think best would be an app that works on top of the default installed calendar. But then again, I don't know...
Advantage with running it from the PDA is that the PDA does not need to be connected to the PC in any way, so messages can be send at any time. And ofcourse, you don't need to purchase expensive subscriptions.
I do webdesign, but I am not a programmer, so I will need some assistance. All input is welcome. Many thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I just received new SIII from work (upgraded to V4.1).
I noticed that the push notifications are late over 3G or WiFi.
When i receive a mail from exchange using build-in mail application, Touchdown or Moxier the emails are receiving late in compare to my colleagues phones (BlackBerry, IPhone). Even when I mark a message as read in the application - i must re-mark it again as read in the outlook.
More than that, I receive late push notifications not just in email but in Whatsapp as well, delay of 3 minutes in average. I can ensure it because i receive few messages at the same time.
Have you encounter such thing? do you know how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Any one can help please?
Hello,
Looking for some guidance over email. For my work I receive sales leads via email on my work mobile (android) these are transmitted to numerous competitors at the same time. Most often, my competitors beat me to the customer, even if contact straight away!
I need a way in which I can get a step ahead. I have used lots of different mail apps most have a frequency of checking for mail every minute. However, those few seconds can make all the difference.
Does anyone know of a quicker way to receive email.
Thanks
Aj
I am a freelancer agent and I receive jobs via email which contains 2 links. 1 to accept the job and the 2nd is to decline it.
As I am on the road it is difficult getting reception and checking emails every few minutes so I need something that will automatically click on the "accept" link as soon as the email arrives.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
