Hi,
I noticed that when sending pictures via MMS, the HD2 compresses them too much that the pictures quality and size is degraded very much!!
I have SE X1 and when trying to attach big picture, it askes me what resolution and quality settings i want then compress it. Why this is not in the HD2, or is there a way we could do that?

Back in my G1 days, I was a huge fan of the Photoburst album. Its quick and easy to use.
Now that I have Android on my HD2, I redownloaded Photoburst and it found my pictures from my SD just fine, but it is a bit quirky...for starters, it is slow (lags quite badly) when opening and zooming on pictures. The quality is also quite sub-par. The pictures themselves are crystal clear when viewed on my G1 or on my PC.
Has anyone noticed similar issues?
Also, can anyone recommend a decent 3rd party photo album for Android? I am not a fan of the stock Gallery app (albeit, it does work quite well).
Hi,
did you find any decent Photo Album application for Android ? Photo Galery shows in a low quality when in slide presentation. My Photo just can't update the thumbnails... It has a database update but doesn't works. It keeps showing already deleted folders and photo thumbnais and because of that, when in Slide show, keeps trying to show pictures that already were deleted.
Well...I want a simple, but functional Photo slide application where I can choose one or more folders from my SD card to show.
Any idea ??
Thanks,
Carlos
every time i try to send a video via mms or text i cant because the file is to big. is there anyway to make the video smaller or do i need an app to resize the video files? thanks
If you know that your going to want to send the video via one of those methods, start off in one and select video with the attach clip. Then the video will automatically be compressed to fit into the MMS or Email. Of course, the video will look blocky and be limited to a certain time frame, but this will allow you to send the video.
Plugging the phone or sd card directly into my PC is what's worked best for me personally.
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 ZOOM (SM-C105).
I use it at work to record videos (1280x720), send to the company after previous encoding to a lower bitrate. (to reduce file size) - which unfortunately takes a long time.
I would like to change the settings to immediately record a lower bitrate.
The phone is rooted and I tried to edit the file "media_profiles.xml" but it does not change anything. Even threw him out of the catalog and still camera records the old way.
Edited the file on the phone and copied another. I have a feeling that my phone does not use that file.
Did I do something wrong? Can I do it differently? Where do I change the settings to reduce the bitrate?
I tried to use other camera.app but they are not suited for this camera (optical zoom etc.)
I will be grateful for your help.
Regards
Lech
