Hi all
My HD2 had been changed from Telstra to HK CSL version for more than 6 months.
As suddnetly 2 days ago; the phone could connected to the wifi router at home,
but it could not connect to internet. Using GPRS could access internet.
The other HD2 at home could do it!
I had redo the installtion for many times.
Sometimes, after reinstalled the rom, it can access internet via wifi, but after installed the software that I used to use, the phone could not access internet again
Now, I had tried to do the same thing again, but it can't access internet at all.
I really need some help!

Well I installed NAFT Fuze v4.1 rom and now my phone won't connect to my home wifi, my phone finds it but it won't connect
Any help? It would be much appreciated
maybe change in wifi-settings from battery-optimized to performance-optimized?

yesterday I installed the XAT CM6FROYO [RC2 | Build 107] [2011-04-24] ROM, without any Problems (on baseband .58). Thanks for the great work btw.
The ROM worked fine yesterday. But suddenly this morning the internet access was not working anymore. Neither via WIFI nor via 2G/3G. Somehow it "froze" during night. If I turn on Data Access via the settings menu, the 3G icon shows up for a second or two and disappears again. The same thing with WIFI access. I tried rebooting a couple of times and also crashed the system server in DevTools. I also played around with AndroMax and Widgetoid, but nothing worked.
Any ideas?
P.S. Sorry for my potentially bad english, but I'm from germany.
Hi hope somebody can help here, acquired this phone yesterday (used) put sim in works fine makes and receives calls no problem, connects to the net via browser sometimes no problem , when tethering with either wifi or usb connection lasts for a few mins then loses connectivity but browsing on the phone browser works fine (Icon still shows data connected arrows-- signal blue), sometimes the browser loses it too but only when trying to go to links from google search, if i scroll though the pages of search results via google it open up the next page of results WTF !!!! I have tried bluetooth and many different tethering apps all with same result, I tried to update rom but verification failed even with a force flash, cannot flash recovery as it asks for blaze drivers, tried standard adb driver but device not found when trying adb-devices , its running B021 Vodafone uk rom kernel version 3.08-00004, any ideas Im about to give up and take it back HELP !!
Update, I have managed to install clockwork by installing linux dual boot, think I will keep it too, now running jellybean, now just need to port some Roms ! also I think xda should give this phone is own section , finding anything on xda for it is nightmare !
I have looked around for a couple of hours and cannot find any answer to this.
I have just got my S3 back from being repaired after Sudden Death, and have rooted using Odin and CWM Touch 6.0.2.8, and flashed the latest cm10.1 Nightly (Currently 17022013)
I am able to connect to the mobile network (3 UK) and get a good H+ connection.
I cleared all of my saved wifi networks, and try to connect to my home connection. It Accepts the WPA key, and gets to 'Obtaining IP Address...' and does not go any further.
I have tried now on several wireless networks including insecure ones, and it will not connect.
Please help if you've had anything similar, or if I need to provide more information, a log of some kind
I have installed the latest nightly from CM10.1 and the issue is still present. Which makes me think that it is not a CM issue.
I will be re-flashing the stock image of the phone to confirm this shortly. Will post results

Everything is going fine until i install new rom.
yesterday i installed s5glamour rom..then when i tried to connect to my wifi connection-it just says status as 'saved, secured'
i thought rom is problem..
so, today i installed hypermax rom.
again tried to connect to wifi network..then same again.
Please help me.

i have the same problem with wifi connectivity.
my wifi wont connect to any network(friends and relatives included), it just says saved,secured and nothing at all.
i have tried everything. changed a lot of kernels, changed a lot of roms. flashed the original firmware(4.1.2) through odin. nothing helped.
i have been searching for a solution for past one month but havent got any.
please somebody help.
