Yes it is in the market I've downloaded the new version
Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA App
Before Android version I had used the WinMo version of Google Maps. And usually when I used to search for adreses/buildings the search showed the complete postcode. Noticed on the android version I get only a partial postcode returned by the search. Like the first half or something.

There is a more details link in the details for each search result. It shows the complete address in the current Version 4.4 in the U.S.
Noticed that Google Maps and Navigation have both disappeared since I started using 3G. When I only had wifi I could download both apps. There is something with the location function of the SIM that prevents me from downloading these apps in Denmark. Maybe I'll remove SIM and try to find in market. Alternatively factory reset and get Navigation over wifi before putting SIM back in. Ok, Google... why??

It shouldn't take a couple of days, it should update within about ten minutes, just make sure you have internet connection and rebooting may help

A location would help. If your location is listed someone local can try on their handset and then be able to tell you if the market is down or if you have a software issue.
Neumarkt Ontario ok for market and updates of apps.

Try moving next door. Seriously. I have that exact problem when I'm round my neighbour's house... market works, browsers work, but try to download an app and it just sticks at 2%... back home and it works fine! Oh, and it's not signal, as I have full bars in both houses.

Any idea where I can get one?
just add my personal note that mine worked on wifi but not 3g. turned out that the apn automatically received from my carrier (mobilicity) is the problem. i deleted the apn and created my own now market works normally on 3g too
cheers
mine as now updated to the new market and as yet no problems
Hi, so I have Market Enabler installed and for some reason it doesn't seem to work on the new market. Also, cf3d's 'open market' seem to have no effect either.
Is something broken? Anyone knows of a market enabler that works with the new market? Thank you!
We need a market enabler that works with 3.0.27
It will be made, its just a matter of time. Im very interested in this too, I had to rollback to the old market because of this.

I'm very interested too!
I got it!
Download the attached file.
You will find Market 2.3.6 (april 2011) and follow the instructions file.
Now I return to this version of Market which is fully compatible with Market Enabler!
Tested in a Samsung Galaxy S GT-I9000.
Yes we know it works with the old market. What we need is a market enabler for the 3.0.27 version of the market.

You should be able to get free apps. Only problems with market enabler is actually buying apps. So, roll back and reupdate or something.

This thread should probably be in the general section rather than under SGS II.
I am also using the old market but instead of using an APK I simply uninstalled the update for market from 'manage applications' to go to the old market. Also had to uninstall the market updater system app using Titanium otherwise it updates automatically. Very irritating.
+1 for a solution for the new market since I have to do this every time I change ROMs (which is often). However, the new market is ugly as anything. The waste of screen real estate is appalling!

If so, you have to activate google now in your apps for business administration settings.

Region Dependent maybe?
I'm not sure though but Google Now may be region dependent? I have the same problem with the recent 4.1.2 update here in the Philippines. I will try to install a UK firmware and well see how it goes.

Google now is location dependent thus, it wont work on some network/country/region... just like google wallet. It was working when I was in the US but not here in the Philippines.
