I am a basic Android user with a Samsung galaxy Y Duos GT-S6102. I do not have much knowledge about custom OS/custom ROM etc.,
So wanted to give a try by installing a custom one on my phone, expecting better performance or usability. Someone guided me to this forum saying I can get all the required info and also warned me to understand and follow the steps closely, else I will end up bricking my phone and making it useless.
I hear CyanogenMod is good and wanted to try it. So can you please provide me a step-by-step guide on how and where to start with?

I have a s968c galaxy phone I want to down grade the phone from 4.1.2 to a lower firmware/rom but I cant find any for the s968c model I'm just want to be able to use the simcard slot to use any service I'm not a noob and I know several ways of rooting the device I just can't seem to find any roms for this model of s3 any help would be appreciated it thanks for your help and patience

At the moment there is not an option that I'm aware of. Might try looking in the s6 section
