try using another usb port
tried all usb`s...
But ud need to find the right device id for whichever port ur using..
Just use 1 usb port n try al 4 device idz, n one should be a winner!!
If it doesn't work then you might have to try use other usb ports that uve used in the past.. it should work!!

i tried for 20 times now
each time i run , its starts and gives me the error..
then the deviceid.txt where i entered the id is erased
i think devcon file which is started by x10flash rreplaces deviceid.txt into a new one
please help gys
My deviceid file stays d same :-s

when manually using deviceid's, you have to edit the x10flash.bat to look like this
@echo please connect Xperia in flash mode.

that will prevent the .bat from erasing your deviceid before it uses it

completed step1 .. now moving to step 2 WOW....
phone took some time to boot.. heart beat went up
ran step 2 .. started usb debug .. but got error in cmd that error : device not found ...
but in phone i see

is it ok
ok everything went well
firmware is 024 as from softwre info in service menu
but where is command prompt and how to know whether its rooted or not ?
There should be a busy box app that tells you.. may even need to install 1 tho

Download root update 024-026.. u might need the market fix file n al n replace the one in update file before upgrading

There is a method that is one click that does not involve any ADB via computer, just an APK that you install on your phone, its in the Vibrant Bible which is sticky in the Vibrant android development section(also a link in my signature). Make sure to check that out before you ask questions.

Ya i know that i check everything but the problem is cuz my vibrant is the 1 whit the locked 1 n i cant go into recovery so thats y i need t try another way t get in revovery o n thanx for u help....

Download the android sdk, open a terminal cd androidsdk/tools
make sure usb debugging is on
then issue the command: adb reboot recovery
that should get you into recovery, but honestly i would exchange your vibrant for one of the ones that are not hw locked, cause if you mess up you could be f*****, i think they will exchange it if you tell them you can access recovery or download mode via key combinations.

As u might know se-****-us has lock a new firmware..so I wont reflash my phone to a new software..and I'll lost root access if I do that..what should I do mate..copy ur build.prop then using root explorer than update with seus?

if u think ur fimrware is broken best way is to flash to fresh one and as we are having rooted update it is better to go with properly working firmware
use binarys guide to flash to any of the given firmwares (i am having UK one but u can flash to any one as the updated one is Nordic) and then use latest update to flash new rooted firmware.it is just simple 10 mis procedure to flash a firmware nothing to worry if u follow proper steps http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825664

Hi guys i accidently deleted the Busybox from system files abd wonder how to install it back? + my root isnt working i cant root or unroot whit z4 which I could do and also my wifi is not working like it attempt to get the ip adress but fails and say connection unsucessfull touch to retry please help i dont wanna have to reset to factory data cuz i got dual touch and it took me forever to install it ;(

Use flashtool to install busybox.
Have you upgraded to .435?
You should use Super One Click to root and install Busybox from market, Titanium Backup and Xrecovery.

ok so the problem now i got is that my phone is not 100% rooted but like the root is broken i cant make it root! but when i used the flashtool it said installed xrecovery everything went well samething for busybox but i still dont got root access? will i have to reset my whole device?
Use SEUS to repair your device, then use flashtool for installing busybox and xrecovery.
shouldnt i just do factory data reset?
i tried seus and didnt work!! it get stuck at the part where i gotta plug it into flash mode rawr heelp!! i tried once and it said no software available for your phone
So every app I try never works androot says no fu goo and z4root crashes anyhelp please also how do I enter recovery im running 2.1 update

it is very unfair that they just disregard us and make a new model with better firmware.

i have used the LGMDP software. It' easy but make sure you read some howto-s first.
there are several method to root ur stock gb ......simplest one is....
simply download unroot.exe software and it will automatically root ur device..
if u having problem rooting device via superoneclick ...tell d steps which is stopping u to root ur phone.....i will provide u solution..
