[Q] Change "Show-Home-on-Map"-option in Outlook - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello, does anybody have a solution to change the option in Outlook, in order to use another map provider when using the "Show Home on Map" option? In the registry, 1 is for Google Maps (which obviously I don't want to use), 2 is for some TelmapNav but any other dword value won't help. I find it really annoying not to be able to chose my own map provider.
thx in advance

more than 5 "extra"-menu entries!!?

Hi there,
I hope somebody knows: I am looking for a little program (I saw it in the web a long time ago and cannot find it anymore) that allows you to have more than 5 entries (e.g. assign picture, send sms, assign ringtone...) in the "extra"-menu of the contacts. If you install more than 5 programs, the 6th will "dissapear" in the menu but is still there:
HKEY_ LOCAL_ MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PimApps\PimExtensions\Contacts\Addins
The program is able to show more than 5 entries, I think it opens a new window!? Does anybody know where to buy or download for free this program? :?:
Thanks a lot,
Thomas
if you're using ppc2003, you can have more than 5 entries.
if you're still using ppc2002, you can access these add-in option from within agenda fusion or pocket informant contacts.
other contact manager software might work also.
I am using PPC2002 with the original contact"manager" from Micro$oft and tagenda. There is no possibilty to add more than 5 entries. But the program I am looking for, adds a popup entry and gives the possibilty for more enties (maybe as in PPC2003). So thanks for your help, but still I need a hint!

how can I do it?

Does anyone know how to define an area (in radius)?

[Q] About contacts e GPS position

Hello!
Someone knows how can i set my actual gps position to any contact?
example:
im in your house, and i want to set de adress to your contact im my phone. but does not edit the contact position and write by hand, any applications that take the current position and set as your home address.
thanks
depends on what gps software you are using
if any of your contacts has an address on the contacts list you can open it on google maps and set the navigation path but then I'm not sure exactly what you mean or want to do.
i want to know if have a software that defines my current position as the address of a contact of mine. i want to put my current position to a contact of the list. for when I need, open the contact's address in Google Maps. could understand? Thank you for your attention

[Q] Can't set default navigation app

Whenever I tap on a location (e.g., address in contacts) AT&T navigation takes over. I don't even get a choice to select a default. I disabled AT&T navigation, but this didn't help - selecting the address doesn't do anything anymore. This is all on a HTC One with stock rom.
Next I rooted the device and flashed the latest CleanROM 4.0 from 7/31. This rom doesn't have the AT&T navigator. Unfortunately, it still behaves the same (selecting an address in contacts doesn't do anything). On all of my previous Android phones I was able to select Google Maps as default. This doesn't seem to be possible with the HTC One (at least with the roms I have tried). I also tried using a default app manager without any success.
Any suggestion on how to enable google maps as default navigation up is appreciated.
Open Google Maps, select the arrow icon at the top and start typing a contact name in the destination box. It's a round about way of accomplishing the same thing you seem to be after. There's no way to set Maps as the default any longer.
Thanks jdk2. It's not a perfect but reasonable workaround.
I am wondering about your statement that there is no way to set the default anymore, though. After all, AT&T Navigator is used as default if you don't disable it. If AT&T can bind their stuff, it should be technically possible to bind other apps to it.
Come to think of it, this might be an issue just with contacts. Any other app that deals with addresses allows me to pick Google Maps.
