[ROM] zuch0slide (the first of many...) - myTouch 3G Slide Android Development

*Disclaimer*
In no shape way or form am I responsible if you brick your own phone...somehow. This is the kind of thing you do at your own risk. Also, please go easy on me as this is my very first ROM and I have been working on it for almost 2 weeks.
This little beauty is just something thrown together in no specific order.
it is a non-sense 2.1 hence no flash player so don't ask about it as i may just use sense as my next attempt but we will see.
This is really meant just to be something I like but I posted up here for a few friends abroad that I know want it.
and dont forget you do NEED ROOT!
Release 2 {this is a bare essentials ROM)
-ADW launcher added
-kept gallery 3D as I enjoy it (included both for those who love it)
-dev tools and spare parts working
-fixed the bad xml so all market apps work
-updated adhosts file so hopefully no ads
-all the great ringtones we know and love plus the stock as well
-apps2sd support just not for ext4
-added netcat as busybox wasn't enough for me
known issues
-wifi tether not working ... (removed for now)
-crappy camera from older UIs
-keyboard no ? or /

special thanks to everyone who has put forth an effort in linux development without you guys I would never have been driven to try my own stuff out.
as of today i will not be updating this i worked on it for a while however i want to go a diff direction as i want flash player support hense look out in a few weeks well have a sense ROM cooking

i have a sense one running stock espresso that has working keyboard however it just sux. and im just not that good with linux yet...

ok out of curiosity is this a based off cyanogen 5.0.8 rom, espresso with rosie and other sense goodies taken out, or is this something you compiled yourself from scratch?

Flashed this rom and here is what I found:
Bluetooth is working, WiFi is not; unable to start.
Camera working with flash.
Hard keyboard works except:
No lights. No FN and Shift indicator. no ? or /
Ive tried both radio images (7.09.35.10 and 7.08.35.04)
Neither seem stable, my connections bounces from 3G to H(HSPDA?) and back.
I was barely able to sign into Google. (build.prop issue?)

could you send me your log as I stay steady at H but I live close to the tmo tower so i could have flawed results

I love this rom. It seems like other stock 2.1. This is fast can't wait to see future development.
