Ok so all those advertisements on tv and on youtube show that vibrant has amazing 3D games... In one youtube banner ad it shows an impressive clip from some kind of a helicopter game. Yet where can I download those games? They sure as hell not in market. Market is full of old and outdated games.
Can someone be kind enough to post a list of impressive 3d games.
I downloaded Need for speed shift demo for verizon.. But since its for verizon I cant purchase the full version :/

I have NFS Shift, Sandstorm, HeavyGunner, HomerunBattle 3d and Gangstar. All fun games with great graphics. I don't believe they're on the market though, you'll have to Google search to find them.
Gameloft has a lot of good games. They make the best I've seen so far but do not sell them on the market. Have to get them through their site. I'm playing Dungeon Hunter, Diablo clone, best graphics I've seen so far.

Google takes 30% of the sale and distributes that to keep the market up... Im geussing they want as much of the profits they can get...

Google isnt profitting, 30% is the cost of servers, maint, carrier costs, etc.. Atleast thats what we are told.. Google never gave out a breakdown of where all that goes..

It now has zeemote support and hes put a lot more work into the hud... Controls are easier.. Its worth the money... I donated before we even had the kb.. Back in early beta... And andershizzle is quick to reply to questions...

I downloaded it after reading your post, and bought after playing it for about 2 minutes...I still can't believe I'm playing games like this on my phone...the graphics are so clean!

Question... did you guys download the games directly from your phones? Or you dled from comp first then pushed to phone? Coz everytime I go to their site it says there are no games available for my phone. Am I missing something here?

Is your phone rooted? I had problems because the market didn't realize that I'm t-mobile any longer after I flashed bionix' rom...

To download games/apps without rooting.. U can easily download apkinstaller from market.. its free! then just drag the apk files from ur comp to ur phone then use apkinstaller to install them no root required i use it for everything!! it works great!
BTW Thank You to all for posting all those great titles!
Lets keep this thread going.... if anyone finds out a new game or a new game in beta please post it here so we all will know.

you dont need a 3rd party .apk installing software to install non market games/apps
Go to "settings" then "Applications" then check mark the box that says
"unknown sources"...allows install of none market apps

As a side note, access it through your phone or else it won't work. Clicking the link on a pc yeilds an error.

gameloft does NOT post their HD games on the android market. you have to purchase them thru their website.. imho dungeon hunter sucks compared to pocket legends.

just follow @gameloft on Twitter . they are doing specials everyday in December. but there only has been 1 Android game so far.most of the free stuff was for iOS
I have Dungeon hunters on my Vibrant with TW 2.2 Nero, and when i launch it, the title screen shows, then the same screen gets large, then goes back to my home screen, it never launches. Anyone seen this issue when trying to run it on a 2.2 rom?

Edit: just checked the link and it's updated with the new apps for today so no need to search for them everyday, just click the link. From the xda app it won't let me open the link from the market app but it will open in a browser.

I thought I would try that, but Engadget readers are posting it doesn't work. It will show you a "Not compatible" message and will not proceed to checkout. It needs a lot of build.prop editing, and, TBH, I am too lazy to do that ATM
EDIT - It is true. It won't checkout if it is incompatible, and, ATM, only 3 apps are compatible with the Wildfire out of 10

The original list linked here (https://market.android.com/details?id=apps_timed_promotion&feature=banner) still lists the old ones. Where did you dig the new ones from?
EDIT - Ok, there are lists spreading around.

Even if u manage to make it work i don't think u could play very well.
Mini's screen is too small for that kind of game and i think that also the CPU is not powerful enough to run the game properly..

I just started clash of clans on android but my favorite was travian. Its browser based so you can play it and check it anywhere. Even when your playing the go out side and meet girls game.
