how can backup E10i message to computer and can be view in computer??
any software can recommend to me?
I use MyBackup, 1st 30 days are free, then it cost like 5$. You can very easy backup your data like, contacts, SMS, MMS etc either to SD card or online. If you use your SD, you can plug the USB cable to the comp and make a copy of the rerware folder on your SD card.
If you can read the messages from the backup file, no idea.. I just use the app to make a content backup before i play around with other stuff..

Im having problems with my phone, Contact Names getting mixed up battery charging light , comes on by its self. sometimes my phone doesnt charge when it is plugged in..
So, am going to do a FULL WIPE inc a SD Card format. to hopefully eliminate any virus's or what ever the problem is that is causing the problems.
Anyway.. I have just done a backup using Backup & Restore. for contacts , sms and things like that.. But it took a while to back up and I have saved the backup as 2 Apr... On my SD Card I have a folder called Backup, and 2 Apr.sbf
It is less than 1 meg..
Is that the whole backup file???
Of course it is. How big do you think has to be 100mb ?!? These files are very small size, contacts, sms etc...1 mb is absolutely normal size for backup of that kind.
She wants all her app and app info, how do I make backup of everything and install it on her Gnote??
do just like your home desktop pc, remove the phone hard drive and put it on the new phone! j/k. haha
get titanium backup, it can backup all your apps, data, and setting! but remember to backup the data to microSD, it default is backup to phone memory.
I use mybackup pro ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/...mNvbS5yZXJ3YXJlLmFuZHJvaWQuTXlCYWNrdXBQcm8iXQ.. )
It backs up your apps and data just like titanium backup but it also allows you to backup and transfer your SMS and MMS messages as well as call logs , bookmarks, contacts etc
If you don't want to root, use
App List Backup - Free and makes a list of the installed apps; it will not save the app data (you must have root for that) but it makes installing the same apps quick
Also
SMS Backup - Makes a backup of you text messages
After you backup the apps and sms's, copy the internal SD card to a PC then copy it to the Note's internal SD card
As a side note (hahaha)
MAKE SURE HER CONTACTS ARE BACKED UP - Log into gmail on a PC to make sure
Hi, is there anyway to backup apps so that i dont lose save files? (so i dont have to restart from the beginning of the game each time)
It'd be best if there was some way to move apps + their saves files to the external SD card (also is it necessary to format extSD card before flashing ROMs that need full wipe?)
I heard titanium backup might be able to do this, but if i full wipe my internal sd card titanium back up + backup file also gets deleted.
Thanks.

Does titanium backup also restore save files and settings?
It backups and restores the application data storage.
If an app stores it's saves or some content on the sdcard, then that particular conten is not stored since it technically does not belong to the app and thus Titanium has no way of knowing what to backup.
I can however recommend for savegames etc to sync those folders on the sdcard with Dropbox. Not only will you have an offsite backup but it also includes the history of the last 30 or 90 days so if you f%#@ up ingame you can restore your old save.

Which folders do I backup? does drop also back up the app itself
Back up everything just in case, it's there for if you ever need it.
Luckily I can help you as I made the mistake last night of restoring system data.
First of all back up EVERYTHING and place it in your external SD card if you wish.
When you've wiped the phone download Titanium Backup again and restore "missing apps + data" just the missing apps and data. Do NOT restore the system files, it will result in everything to stop functioning.
hey guys
when i trying to backup my interna external storage via usb the transfer window in windows 7 completes but half of the data are missing. how do i do a full backup? i want to install cm 13 and copy things like pictures etc back to the phone afterwards.
i have a [email protected]
thx
Why not make a backup via recovery to include your internal storage, then put the backup on your computer?
Can i then just restore the internal backup of cm12.1 on cm13? if yes, is it realy wise to do so?
Backing up internal storage in recovery is not an option. Recovery backs up system, data, boot, cache, and efs (on some devices).
What is not transferring over when using USB?
The other option is using ADB to pull everything from the internal to your computer.
not sure what exactly is missing. but its just breakr up at about 80 mb via airdroid. via usb i didnt checkt it. just remember that last time i made a backup i encountered afterwards that fules pics etc were missing
Airdroid doesn't work real well with large transfers like that. I believe there is a limit to it on the free version. I use to have an S4. I don't remember having any issues copying the whole internal storage to my PC via USB. You also have options like using ADB (adb pull /sdcard/) or putting in an SD card in and using My Files or your favorite file manager to copy the internal to the external SD card.
You could also check out WiFi File Transfer Pro. It's a paid app but better interface for transfers and I don't think there are any limits.
I used Titanium Backup to schedule backup apps and sys/data but I see there isn't an option to schedule backup a folder on SD card (or I didnt find it).
I see there was similar question unanswered, so I would like to know is there such option and how to do it, or is there an app to do this?
I dont look for sync between PC and phone but to make archived backup every 12h of specific SD card folder , on the phone.
