hello all,
i have a little question...
my phone has a WM build now on it, but i want android as the main ROM, because i HATE windows mobile OS... is there any somution how i can install android as main ROM instead i have to start it in windows...
the reason is that my SD card too slow is for me, and it will be a lot faster if i install it on the NAND memory...
anyone a solution?
im sorry for my bad english...
thx
Hi. There is NO way at the moment to flash HD2 with Android as far as I know. Thats cos Android port for LEO is still "work in progress" and its still not fully working. What You can try is - Energy.Froyostone.HD2.Desire.Android.Aug.11 ROM found in here - forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733649
Hope this will help
sorry but XDA wont lep me post links yet. Copy and paste above "link".
thx for the reply, but is it possible to set android on the phone memory? instead of on a sd card, whats... very slow...

Thats how it works currently. You boot WinMo and then Android.
This isnt a development thread, why did you post it here? It belongs in general.

Well i'm affraid there are no officially for it, but You can monitor this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=849717, cotulla and his team are still developing.
About Android, it's as simple as copying needed files to Your SD card, run it and enjoy it. For Androids, just go to Android development thread, choose one You like and see instructions for it.
I think the closest you'll get to a genuine WP7 on HD2 experience is to install Android and install the new MetroUI for Android.

This launcher actually works quite well on Android and nearly perfectly mimics WP7. It has some refinement to undergo, though.

Hi all !
When WP7 cames out DFT talks about a porting of windows mobile 6.5 for the HD2 on the memory for those of us who are nostalgic..now as I know that they don't like for ETA's domand I don't wnat to know when it wull cames out, I just want to know if they are working on it ..or if it's possible at all !
If they are still working on it then I think we will have to be very patient. Im sure it will be quite a bit more difficult than getting android to run from an SD card.
Im still hopeful though

This is really more of a general windows mobile question really, but for a start, the Igo folder needs to be in the \ folder of your storage card, not in main storage on your phone.
Hi everyone..
Till date, I've used Nand version of Android on my Wave 1.. But now, I also want to try the SD version..
So, can anyone please give me a detailed tutorial on installing Android on SD card..
I referred to some tutorials online, but could not get it correctly..
Please can anyone help me with this..
Thanks & Regards in advance..
When you want to switch to SD-ROM, you have previously to go back to bada 2.0 and then install SD-ROM of Android...

Ya.. Its no problem for me to go back to Bada 2.0..
Where is the problem?
You only need any bada 2.0 ROM... You can download e.g. "firefly ROM" at badaNIA.de. It is just important that you also flash fitting BOOTFILES and FOTA... These files are linked in the relevant thread of your desired Android-ROM...
