Did you root the phone? If not, try doing a recovery update via SEUS.

Still none the wiser, when you boot the phone you should see a SE logo, so what had you done before your phone started doing this?
i just both the x10 and the batery is drain out and it won't charge via usb cable and I don't have the charger!

Same problem here. If i press Power + Home it reboots, but i'm not able to get in Flash Mode. Therefor i think it needs to shut completely down..
Both of you, try flashing stock rom using flashtool

Got it working. Repaired it with sony pc companion. Back to stock 2.1.

Hello every one,
My friend's phone has been breaked! (XPERIA Sola)
well he says that he use swap he increase the memory and tried to deactivate it, but suddenly the program didn't starts, he restart it's phone it shutdown and never came up!
now when he connect the USB cable to it it shows a quick red light then out, so that he can't get to fastboot!
when he press the power button the led flashes many times and won't startup,
is there anyway to fix this?

Follow this procedure and it will work ... self tested!!
1) Force shut the phone by pressing power button and volume + till the phone vibrates once and then three times
2) Charge the phone for a couple of hours
3) Now try connecting the phone in flash mode ...
4) Green light should show and if it does for a couple of sec and goes off then you can flash but you got do the whole procedure again from 1 to 3 and connect asap when flashtool prompts you to connect device
Try it out cheers!!

yeah my phones broke before and wake it up like that,
but ammm ... Sry for my bad english
The Phone IS D.E.A.D. , can't wake up, nothings happen by pressing power button but a quick red light and sleep,
nothings happen by connecting usb but a long flashing red light and again sleep,
no flash mode no fastboot mode nothing ... I guess that's unsolvable

1. Booltloader is unlocked
2. yeah he had custom kernel and custom rom based on stock rom in this thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1922029
Edit : he played with swap memory!

Dude I tried everything i'm not just sitting here posting hopeless post for no reason
I have broke my device many many times and bring it back! ... but this one don't seems to respond to any work i did it had 80% charge and now when i connect to charger or any usb the red light will be out in no time ...

Yeah ... the same ... red light when connecting to usb not more than 0.5 sec get on, and when pressing power on just flashing LEDs! I think can't fix such thing in easy way!
UP .... Nodoby have any other idea how to bring this back?! ...

unfortunally the battry is charged ... no flash mode :| not sure why ...

When the program asks for flashmode, plug in the usb-cable and press home and powerbuttons at the same time.

just hold volume down and connect ur usb cable at a same time and then the led colour will get green

All drivers are installed?
You have to turn off your phone, hold volume down and while holding volume down connect the usb to PC. The green led will light up and you are in flashmode

you say i have to send it care. what should they do? my phone has been made j tag 4 times. problem not solved.
I was using JB rom on my xperia u and then i flashed orignal ics ftf then on first boot at xperia logo it turned off and not turning on when i connect to pc it doesnt detect and i am unable to go to flashmode or fastboot mode and whenever i plug it in for charge the red light that indicates charging turns on but turns off after a while.
PS i already charged it for 20+ hours any solution to get it back guys ???

flash ics firmware again
and say what happens
Are you sure your device is off when you're connecting it to your computer? Press and hold volume up button with powerbutton untill you've felt a vibration followed by a serie of vibrations and then try to connect it in flashmode.
must be the kernel or rom you flashed doesn't support offline charging

do a hard reset like till u get three vibrations ... hold volume down and plug in usb .. if the led goes green that means u have entered flashmode
