[APP] HTC Calendar.exe WM5 / WM6 6.1 - Windows Mobile Apps and Games

HTC Calendar.exe (attached) shows the month calendar as shown below;

This via a SDK developed calendar month viewer can be viewed / used in landscape mode too, though only after adding HTCCalendar.exe to G-Sensor capable applications; I use BSB Tweaks nowadays. Before that I used GSen (but was not satisfied).
The HTCCalendar.exe does not have an icon; this was to keep it as small as possible at that time. Included in the attached zip is a shortcut, though it assumes you unpacked the zip to \Windows\ directory AND you have downloaded sktools_icons.dll (in a zip).
Below is the text to see (open in notepad) in the file which is included in the zip as a *.LNK file;
Code:
59#"\Windows\HTCCalendar.exe"?\Windows\sktools_icons.dll,-179
If you have not unpacked it to \Windows\ directory;
then alter the *.LNK with a text editor to match your PATH.
For more examples and how to's about *.lnk shortcuts and Feature Settings see this thread I created some time ago.
Have a nice day,

FingerKeyb size mismatch fix [applies only to WM6.5.5 w/ bottom start menu]

I've used FingerKeyb for a long time with the "regular" WM builds, but after switching to WM 6.5.5 builds 28xxx and now 235xx, it was nagging me more and more that there was a "dead" space between the keyboard and the app area...
So much that today I decided to try and fix it... with success
before:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
after:
[sorry for the blurriness, it seems there are some size limits / compression going on]
The fix is quite easy:
step 1/ open \Program Files\FingerKeyb\Skins\skin-01-global.txt
step 2/ search for "CScheme TaskbarSize" (probably all the way down in the file) and add 16 to the number you see there (in my case 52 -> 68)
step 3/ soft-reset
step 4/ profit!
Enjoy!
THANK YOU
It works. Thank You very,very much

Lockscreen favorite wallpapers limit reached, can't add or save to sd/MFVKeyguard

Lockscreen favorite wallpapers limit reached, can't add or save to sd/MFVKeyguard
I'm using an european model A2017G with B08 update and love the new lockscreen wallpapers feature. Each time a find one interesting i clock to add to favorites and download to /storage/MFVKeyguard.
But from today i'm no longer able to do so, whenever i click to favorite the following message is displayed: "The number is exceeded, can't add save to /storage/emulated/0/MFVKeyguard/Favorite".
I have tried to move all the image files from the fovorite folder which is now empty but still can't save new wallpapers anymore. A reboot also doesn't help.

I cannot replace SW_Configuration file in /system partition

I'm trying to make a script which would correct SW Configuration file after the system is installed. Due to samsung's sertificates this file can't be corrected in the rom before flashing.
I created a script, which runs with root permissions and executes this code:
Code:
cp /system/csc_update/SW_Configuration.xml /system/SW_Configuration.xml
Generally it should replace the file, but for some reasones it creates a copy. So I can see 2 files with exactly the same name.
If I run:
Code:
rm /system/SW_Configuration.xml
The original file is never deleted, but, If I have my own, than it is.
My application can only see the original one.
I've tried to analyze the difference. Root Explorer shows that everything is equal (Permissions, owner, SE context). Only the icon of my version is blank (without lines, which should show that it's a text file).

How can I replace the original file?

What's the best way to edit Android .apk files?

Hello everyone!
I need help with my uni project. I am supposed to localise a mobile app and I've found a simple looking ''choose your own adventure'' game which is perfect for this purpose. However, I cannot get it to work after editing the language files. Here's what I've done:
1. Unpacked the .apk file with WinRAR.
2. Edited the .xml files containing the language with Notepad++. Changed only the displayed text into another language, left the code unedited.
3. Tried to build the app back using Android Studios.
Whenever I try to convert the edited game back into an .apk file I get an error (see screenshot below). Is my Android Studios setup wrong (I used the basic settings)? Am I doing something wrong? Is there an easier way to do?
Cheers,
YamaKasin
