My green notification LED will not stop flashing. I have no messages or events etc. I don't want to soft reset to stop it.
I'm sure I read about this bug previously but I had never experienced it until now. I cannot now find where I read about it.
I'm sure there is a cab fix somewhere.
I'm running Energy.Leo.23569.Sense2.5.Cookie.Jul.08 but think I have read about this occuring on other ROMs hence posting here.
Anyone know how to sort this?
Cheers all.

Do you have Facebook, Twitter, moTweets, Stocks or anything else running? They will all provide led flashing notifications *randomly*. Also, you can turn off LED features in BsB Tweaks (Start>Tools>BsB Tweaks).
Searched - I couldn't find it. My phone just crash but the screen was entirely messed up -- multi colored lines but you could still see part of the screen. More akin to overclocking a video card and getting graphical corruption.
It's rooted with the stock firmware, JI6. I don't have any lag fixes or anything else now but I did have OCLF and I have SetCPU. I tried to use Z4Mod last week but it would only put me into the old recovery so I used ODIN to reflash. I'm wonding if I should try to get it replaced under warranty? I haven't seen this issue come up before. Has anyone seen this?
I have almost the exact same set up - sans the SetCPU - and I've had that freaky screen thing happen to me twice now; both times I was playing a game. Did you figure out what was causing it?

Galnet MIUI has call recording integrated into its dialer app. Are there any other ROMs that do the same, so you don't need to use an additional app to record?
Thanks.
Have you tried to just pull the phone.apk from one of the i9100 roms that have recording built in and install it? I was thinking of trying that, but haven't gotten around to it. Besides, it didn't work that easily on i9000 -> Cappy.
edit: There is also this. Haven't tried it yet, either. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1222368
I wasn't sure if transferring the phone.apk's was possible since I'm a newbie lol.
I'll give that a script a shot. Thanks!
For anyone who may be interested, I tried the dialer mod that PuffinNugz linked to and it seems to work fine for our phones. Thanks again PuffinNugz!
Hi all,
Not sure if anyone else getting this problem.
My youtube seems to be taking very long to buffer on HQ it plays a bit freezes and so fourth and this is on WiFi close to the router source. I'm running the normal 407 rom it worked before fine when I was on DSC but shouldn't the oellh rom be similar because it is basically stock?
I'm assuming there could be a fix within the build.prop but i'm not so smart as to know what to change/add and seeing that I don't know what i'm doing in there I don't wanna mess around. If anyone knows or has the same issue n knows of a fix it would be much appreciated.
Youtube app just sucks.. The videos on worldstarhiphop play better than youtube
Which is a shame!

Thanks i'll give it a shot when I get home from work.
first off, i apologize if this doesn't belong here, but i cannot post and ask in the main thread for CM11 in development, as i don't post much, working more on the less you talk the more you listen mentality. However i cannot find anything regarding the integrated (i call it integrated as i cannot find any app which obviously related to it which i could get rid of), which is the video player when playing videos from other websites than youtube, it opens the video with this plug-in like video player.
Now in cm10.1 i could choose to open it with any video player i had installed, after updating to CM11 it just opens it up with that plug-in like player, which is really awkward and slow to use... and i want to get rid of it, however i failed to find anything regarding it on forums or google, not exactly sure what to look for, but did search for everything i could think of, there seemed to be a mention of this without an answer in the development thread though.
I checked settings in both default browser and chrome, opera mini just downloads the video file, which i don't want either. tried disabling java, basically dug through all the settings too... reset my app defaults etc.
If anyone has solution, or suggestions to solving this, please let me know as i spent few hours digging on it with no success :silly:
I am on CM11 nightlies, galaxy s3 i9300. And well any suggestions are appreciated... just want the selection for what to open video link with back.

I've tried that, did reset them, no effect. Was one of the first things i tried... just to be completely clear i want the dialogue to select app when encountering video files online flash or mp4 or whatever to choose what to open them with instead of the attached screenie...
In the same boat... using CM11.. I am trying to set 'Avia' as my default player (to play videos through chromecast)..
however couldn't find a way to set this.. and AOSP/Chrome/Dolphin browser starts to play videos (and flash videos) using internal video player inside the browser itself.. and somehow I couldn't find the default internal video player in the Settings -> Apps section. I even disabled 'Gallery' app.. any idea would be appreciated.
same problem.. no fixes?

Changing Video-player "default" and still no help ?
I found this thread while searching for answer to same question-- only my device is a Nexus 7 running KitKat.
Go Settings - Apps - Press menu soft key - Reset app preferences
it actually worked for me .
