It charges with my standard Samsung Vibrant Phone charger. May not be fast but good to know.
It will charge over USB (connected to a computer) too. The battery indicator does not show charging, and I think you have to turn the screen off, but the battery will go up ... eventually.

I was recently replacing my Samsung Galaxy S3 charge port and the one of the pads got lifted. So does anyone have the Galaxy S3 Pin Layout for Verizon so I can just solder a wire to the other side of the board and get the phone to charge?

I am using the stock charger for my galaxy s6 and on my charger it shows a rating of 5v at 2.0A but when i test it with "Ampere" app, it shows 1020mA maximum. Is it supposed to charge at this speed? I am using a good quality cable with gold plated connectors and 24awg core. I also tried two different wall outlets
Hey there,
It's a little quirk I have noticed with my phone too... it DOES charge faster... but only when the screen is off... when the screen is on its limited to around 1amp charging...
So I grabbed the s20 ultra (got it at a steal price) was wondering though as it came with the 25w charger. Can I use my black shark 3 charger on it? I read that the s20ultra supports 45 w charging. Will this charger damage the phone? I got spoiled by that quick 30 min charge time on the black shark 3. Dont wanna wreck my new phone just to shave 30 mins off my charging though.
It does support 45w.
You can use the Black Shark charger, the phone will only accept up to 45w of charge though.
You will NOT hurt the phone by using a more powerful charger as the phone regulates the charge it will accept.
