For SPL 3.5 only.
Thanks for Olipro
Information:
bla-bla-bla.
How about some descriptions and screens for this ROM?
Does it have HTC touchflo? How does its contact application look like? etc.
SPL 3.5 means... WHAT base ROM? AP4, AP3, AP5, IRUS?
WM6 or WM6.1?
Other info?
EDITED
The ROM's name explain something: IRUS rom (settings, about)claims to be the WM6.1 19521.1.1.0 build; from the file name this ROM seems to be the WM6.1 19209.1.0.2 (older build ...). Otherwise sometime rom cookers edit the build numbers ....
Base: wwe ROM from HTC X7510
NK.exe : from ap4
wm6.1 19209 b19209.1.0.2
19521 - fake ROM
I'm going to try this out today, thanks .
Hmm, there is some customization that's missing here, maybe to make it "Ultra Lite". Gotta tweak it to see if I like it or not.
*Update*
Ok, a LOT of this ROM is in Russian, I really don't like the included apps, there are some pirated application on there, HTC X-Button doesn't work at all, there isn't the same HTC Home as AP4/5, you can't customize the menu AT ALL, the scroll bars are thin making it VERY hard to use your finger, it starts using OzVGA, not even RealVGA, HSDPA is disabled by default...The only thing I like about this ROM so far, is that my MobileTalk application actually works, and that I can run Garmin again due to the larger RAM size. I will wait for AP5 vanilla before I flash again, or I'll try AP4, as at least that works with my MobileTalk program.
*Update 2*
Wow, here's a MAJOR problem with this ROM, apparently he didn't add the ability to uninstall programs. Sorry buddy, but because of this, this ROM is gone.
darkjedi,
Sorry, however not all your conclusions about this ROM are correct.
1. There are NO programs in Russian. All are in English.
2. Yes, there isn't the same HTC Home as AP4/5. But nobody said that it must be here
3. The menu used is QuickMenu. It is fully customizable and it has HTC X-Button functionality inside. You even do not need HTC X-Button installed. To customize menu just click Start->QuickMenu->Options
4. It is easy to make the scroll bars as thick as you like - just run
OzVGA and customize
5. Yes it has SOME problems with uninstall, but it is not so critical
And what about speed of this ROM? It is very, very quick and responsive.
Actually it is Ultra Lite, but high-speed system.

Sorry but no, I do not want some "QuickMenu" program that looks ugly and is obtrusive. HTC X-Button is small and does it's job, and allows me to just hit the X and the program closes. And btw, the OS STARTS in Russian btw, and CorePlayer is all in Russian. So I have to go into ANOTHER program just to edit the menu? Ugh. That's incredibly stupid. OzVGA is annoying and very buggy. And WHERE is the add/remove programs? Let me guess, ANOTHER program? Nice attempt, but with all this crap? Sorry but AP4.0, bugs and all, is much better.
Does not sound like an ultra lite to me if it contains so many unwanted third party bloatware.
I'm still waiting for a true vanilla, not pseudo vanilla. On Spl 1.2 please. There's no need to lose any memory to useless programs.

You know even with all the negativity, I may try it. Still having several issues in AP4 and AP5. Waiting to install the next Ap5
1) So the startup and/or Coreplayer is in Russian - who cares Install wwe version
2) I hate the HTC Home in Ap4 and AP5 too big.takes up way to much of the today screen. ALways install htc home vga over it anyway.
3) Quick Menu is really not that bad. It is installed in many of the roms in other forums - Kasier especially.
4) Haven't used OzVga since my universal - It have some issues awhile back, but it was basically like realvga used in other AP rom..Not sure if it works well, but hey why not try it while I wait for another AP rom
5) This seems like a real issue, that would suck, but again I just feel like flashing something, while I wait for another rom to try....

Best ROM
This ROM works practically without problems. And very fast.
On speed and reliability it the best of all for Athena.
And Russian? It I would learn only that it talked Lenin. (V.V.Mayakovsky)

Does it have HTC Touchflo and the new Contact Applications ? Is the speed as fast as the WM6.0 stock ROM?
Have you tested its GPS, bluetooth, and WIFI yet? Could you uninstall the big menu, russian coreplayer, ozVGA, and HTC X-button?
HI all
I've noticed a trend amongst quite a few of the roms in the raph forums that the majority of the newer roms are coming with the 'TACHI DIALER'
i have this so called 'tachi dialer' on my phone currently and it is soo much more difficult to use than the bog standard diamond dialer
what i was wondering was, after doing a little reading around it and searching, it appears some of the features of said roms are actually reliant on something to do with the tachi dialer
what i'm asking is, is it possible to actually remove this frankly horrendous dialer skin from my phone and revert to the nicer diamond dialer?
i'm a little apprehensive about trying something until its confirmed to work/not work as i actually use my phone a LOT as an actual phone and email device so can't really afford to be testing much stuff out and end up having to hard reset! (hence the late request as any 'experimenting' must be done when my phone is 'quieter'!)
many thanks for any replies/guidance
This isn't a direct answer to your question, but it might lead to something you can experiment with. From reading various threads, it looks like the dialer is needed in TouchFlo3D 2.0+ basically so the people page works when you hit the call button. I'm not sure what happens if you do not have the Tachi dialer, perhaps all would happen is it wouldn't dial from the people page. So if you manually installed a newer edition of TouchFlo you can probably stick with the Diamond dialer and just remove the people page. If it's cooked in, I don't think you can remove it unless the chef removes it, or you cook your own using a kitchen.
not only is it required for the newer manilla but the main reason(at least for me) is that the standard diamond/raphael dialer has conflicts with 6.5 while the tachi dialer doesnt.
@duke_stix:
The Tachi Dialer (and apparently Rhodium dialer) is required dialer packages for Manila 2.0+ and it does indeed appear to be required when running WinMO 6.5 as a result of chefs adding the latest versions of HTC components.
The port is not 100% complete, there are some outstanding issues as I'm sure other members will confirm. From your post, it sounds like you're running into some of those issues.
A signficant number of months as well as work from many talented XDA members were required to port it over for use on VGA devices such as the Rapheal.
Short of stepping back to WinMO 6.1 and a pre-Manila 2.0+ version, you may be limited for options.
HTH,
Manila 2.0 works fine with the default Raphael Dialer.
You could just disable the dialer and use the Default WinMo Dialer.

Hello all, I'm looking for a ROM that is 6.5 (preferably 6.5.3) based but with the standard TouchFlo 3D instead of Sense 2.1 or 2.5, as I find that they are way to sluggish on my Fuze. Do any such ROMs exist? If so, could someone point me toward one? I've searched quite a bit and nothing seems to come up.
Don't think there is one, but i can make a very stock one with the original Touch Flo 3D?
just try some of the old energy roms... im am extremely sure he made a couple with tf3d and not sense...
and im also sure its 6.5.3

Basically what would be ideal would be one based on clean 23518 that had just the plain TouchFlo 3D. If you could do that that would be phenomenal.
I will also take a look at some of the older Energy ROMs although they are a bit big and bloated it seems to me.

http://romeos.monx.biz/index.php?op...OMeOS2_WM65X_23081_301_071109_RAnDIUM_WWE.rar
But not the original TouchFlo 3D? The one the phone is shipped with
Currently testing it out...will let you know how it goes
So far so good, seems very fast and works very nice.
A few things: In MyPhone, the text does not show up in some of the screens, although the softkeys work and I can use it just fine.
I would like to replace the stock WinMo dialer with the nice Raphael dialer although I'm not sure where to find it.
The 5 row Start menu is a little bit cramped.
Internet link on TouchFlo 3D does not work (maybe I have to install Opera, will try installing Opera 10 and find out).
Email tab is called "email" in all lowercase instead of "Mail" (this is very nitpicky I'm just pointing it out)
Thanks so much I'm loving it!
I'll get on that when I'm home from school
I liked this ROM very much but i found some bugs maybe u could fix it..
1. Word Mobile won't Open, It's said to restart device but still won't open
2. some text out of screen, like in mms option server setting
will inform u later if i found others bug..thx

Hello Everybody,
I am completely newbie in Smartphones. I just bought unlocked HTC HD2 brand new from Amazon.com I have several questions for professionals and hope to get answers. So here they are (sorry for being dummy):
1. What is ROM? i meet everywhere this word in this forum. Is it kinda Smartphone's OS?
2. Everybody is talking about Android, WinMo and etc. Is it possible to have in my HTC HD2 only 1 OS like Android? I mean, can i delete WinMo completely and install Android? how will change battery life in that case?
3. Is porting safe? For example if I wanna get rid of original WinMo 6.5 and port WinMo7 or Android to my phone, will that be safe?
4.Some people in youtube.com demonstrate Android running in HTC HD2, are they running 2 Operating systems on HTC HD2? If you run both WinMo and Android, how long will be battery life?
5. Is latest release of Android so smooth and neat like original WinMo 6.5 of HTC HD2?
6. Is there any FLV player for WinMo 6.5? Where can I get apps for WinMo 6.5?
7. In your opinion does WinMo 6.5 have a future?
Thank you gentlemen
First of all welcom on XDA
Secondly some of your questions the answer can be found in the tricky threads, and some of your questions, the answer are personally related.
Thirdly let's go start.

No, Your primary OS will be WM, if you will have only Android you have unfortunately buy a wrong device.

Safe is a big word sir, this depends on your talent, the Rom version you will install, radio, Android build ...
Everything you will changed here is on your own risk. the chance of success is depending if you read/follow the instructions.

Yes, like mention before running Android without WM isn't possible right now.
Battery life is very variable, depending on your basic Rom, your Radio version, the Android build, your used.....

Let's go analyze this.
First of all Windows Mobile will have a long life, some professional users need WM.
Secondly eh WP7 isn't a good professional alternative, to limited.
Thirdly 6.5 ?? hmm let say 6.5.5 will take the future.
If you go take a look onto the Rom Build Threads the majority of builders/users are WM 6.5.X users!
Thank you gentlemen

Dear kurt-willems,
Thank you so much sir. The answers are more than precise.
Regarding FLV player,
I have downloaded Video Clips from Youtube in FLV format. (flash video format)
I wanted to play them but was not successfull to do it on my HTC HD2. It has Windows Media player which is not really good. I tried TCMP, nothing. Any alternative?
Marketplace is not free, that is sad.
I would be delighted to get advice and info from professionals like you Sir,
I don't wanna get unuseful information from beginners and don't wanna ruin my OS
Thanks,
Waiting for your reply
Yeah, also some questions:
What is Radio version and Radio itself?
Here on forum everybody's talking about some CHT 2.0, is it program or what?
It is unfair of HTC to leave its flagship model without future. Maybe we can all get together and write a letter saying to HTC to provide us with choices to change our OS to Android?
Thanks everybody
You can tray to used Core player v1.3.6, maybe this can do what you are looking fore.

The Radio is the flagship of your connections, (WiFi, Bluetooth, Phone connection) giving advice fore this is quite complicated because it's related to Rom version and/ore area.
In general the older 2.07 ore the new one 2.15 are good working versions.
CHT is a small/big application who permit you to customize your home screen.
Take a look on the CHT 1.8.5 thread; here is the link.
I know this is the link on the older version, the new version CHT 2.0 is a beta version, not stable at 100% and much more possibility of customize. but fore a new user like you it is best to start with 1.8.5 ons you get it and the version of CHT 2.0 is finish you can use this one.
It's the same thing in live first we learn to crawl, then steps and then walk
Ow, I have make a thread in the past with easy; but useful questions new users have, you can take a look on it maybe this can helps you a lot father.

Fore your apps; be careful not every application who was build fore a WM6.1 will be compatible on a WM6.5 ore 6.5.x important is to read the information added fore this.
unfortunately I think I have bad news fore you; you will probably remember you when there where some leek about WP7! and at the same time there were simulate information about the HTC HD2 on announce to make a update the other non.
Now the official announcement was there will be no update to WP7 fore the HTC HD2 announce by HTC and Windows.
It is sad to hear about WP7. Some guy named Cotulla showed video that he was able to run WP7 on HD2. What they mean by that? are they still running both WM6.5 and WM7?
If you run 2 OS on HD2, isn't it gonna drain your battery in couple hours? Or was Cotulla able to install WP7 to cleaned disk space, I mean only 1 OS? what do you think?

The WP7 on a HTC HD2 will only be available by custom builders,
Will it be perfect ????
Will it be stable ????
how will the battery react ????
What will be possible ????
Lot of questions, the future will give the answer! will it have a success (way not there are day hards here )
But what I was saying in previous post is that HTC will not make a update to WP7 on the HTC HD2.
Hi Kurt,
I live in Chicago currently. I have called The Tech Shop (repair center). Guys from there told me that they can port Android to HD2 completely. I asked whether my windows mobile can be completely removed and replaced with Android. they told me that they will do it for sure. Do you think that it worths to change OS to ANDROID?
Thanks
I have been looking around a lot to find an application that lets me know how much I have left on my monthly "data" (for the HTC HD2)
I mean, I have 250mb per month I can use and I would like to keep an eye out on how much I use so I dont go over it.
Hope someone knows an application that can show me that!
Thanks in advance!

would be nice to have that as a CHT 2.0 widget
im looking for something like this too! bookmarking for future use
Homescreen++ is in english. The themes are pretty easy to write and modify. Here's the homepage (there are even some very nice manual).
Coupled with Mortscript one can reproduce most of Sense features at a fraction of the resources. Unfortunately HS++ never got the deserved attention (mostly because of OEM software hacking and piracy) and development is halted...
