Hello everyone,
I have a HTC HD2 and I would like to decrease the size of the touchkeyboard even more than those 3 available.
Is there a chance or a software to do that?
Thanks to everyone...
BR,
Senormac
Did you read the Tweakers Tips of the HTC HD2?
I don't know for sure if there is a tweak about this. I will take a look at the forums. If I don't find anything, I don't edit my post and if I see something, I will edit

Hi guys,
Thanks in advance for your help!
I've got a few quick questions here: I notice some Hermes devices are shipped with WM5 and some with WM6. (please answer as many or as few questions as you can every little titbit of info greatly recieved!)
1. Mine came with WM5. Are there any advantages to upgrading to WM6?
2. I like the cooler 3D startmenu that I've seen on some other people's devices - I'm assuming this is a WM6 feature? Is it possible to get this without upgrading?
3. I'm worried about losing my programmes when doing any rom upgrades from here (been looking at a few of the cooked ones) will my registry remain in tact? If not is it possible to back up the registry and restore it?
4. I tried to perform a backup (been meaning to do it for ages) with activesync...........and discovered the function doesn't exist on the new version??? (I could do it with my blueangel!). Can I still do this?
5. What is SuperCID? I've seen it mentioned a few places? Does it tell you the location of incoming calls?
6. Lastly (and I appreciate this is a bit off-topic) does anyone know any good skinning software for PPC? Something like WiseBar but preferibly free ;-) and with good memory usage
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

I have been reading all of this stuff in search of these answers for quite some time now. Suffice it to say that dyslexia and encroaching anatomy exams (the life of a medic is full of these things) it's difficult to find time to read all of that ;-)
Any help anyone can give on any one of these points would be greatly recieved and I appologise and sympathise greatly with the attitude which creates the 'do a search' mentality so pervasive on the forums - the same things do come up all the time.
Thanks again for your help folks!
Evening guys and gals...
now im thinking this question may have been asked a lot but i couldnt see a clear answer flicking through the forum.
Ive had my HD2 for a while now and pretty much since the day i got it, it just hasnt impressed me so i want to make it A) more user friendly and B) just look and run better.
My problem here is that unlike the Iphone i had before im not sure where to begin with it. So my question how do i go about modding the phone? Is there a guide on here ive been to blind to see, or perhaps someone can give me some pointers.
Im thinking that unlike the iphone where its just a case of jailbreak it and mod it from the phone the HD2 as it runs windows takes a lot more effort/work?
Thanks in advance for any help given.
Read.....The HTC Leo (HD2) Wiki pages - to learn about the HD2 in all its' glory
Read..... HD2 STICKIES | USEFUL INFO | POSTING RULES - to learn about how to.... what to.... where to.....
Read..... all threads starting [ROM]..... in the HD2 ROM Development thread - then you'll know what other people are doing with their HD2's.
That's a good starting point ...... should take you most of August to get through that little lot and then you should be in good shape to start updating and tweaking your HD2 to behave just how you want it to.....
Hope that helps!!
Mark.
Your my new hero! Cheers buddie
I had used Andorid one month ago, and i had changed many kinds of it, i have some questions about it. i hope you guys can help me to solve my questions.
now i am listing them following:
1 Ray induction cannot work, everytime i must adjust the backlight by hand. it is very troublesome.
2 I donnot like Htc sense, i want to use the original sense of android like Nexus'. but i donnot want to change another one.
3 The battery's life is too short.
4 The pixel of camera is only 3m, when we can use 5m?
I hope perfect function, now i am using mattc RC1.5, i donnot want to change it, i am waiting.

Hey guys,
This has got to be the best locklscreen I have seen to date.
I have a HTC HD2 and would love to have this. I imagine you would have a black 480 x 800 png for the background, but can change anywallpaper to the same file name and have it as the background with the text on top.
Is anyone interested in making this?
I have see some similar, but nothing as good as this.

You can do this using WAD (without the slider).
Thank you very much, I have posted comments and problems in your post. Please see here:

I looked and looked but couldn't find a thread on this (perhaps not hard enough), but I've just recently become aware to the fact of HTC may have made a version of the HD2 with a sliding keyboard. Did they go through with this or was it just an idea that evaporated and we haven't really heard much since?
I can't post a link, just search "Leo-S" in Google to see what I'm talking about.
Many thanks for the following answers!
what are you smoking over there?
The Leo-s was an unsubstantiated rumour based on some registry keys that were found that would allow for it but with HTC now developing WP7 i wouldn't read anything into it
@Lude - Apparently something that messes with my grammer , just noticed it wasn't that great.
@M3PH - Thanks for that update. I couldn't find anything that said this was just a rumor. It's a nice idea though.
