I see the thread is based on my post on XDA-Developers forum:

We supply all the news!

Any idea if this also be for US based phones (Cingular 8525)?

Its doubtful.. Right now at this time its only the business customer side of cingular that has changed their name to ATT. The residential customer side is still cingular and has not changed branding yet, they are still crying about the amount of money its going to take to re-brand..
The ROMs are AKU3.3

thats a very good possibility
Awesome news, but...Im wondering something. What benefits do you get with a 3.X AKU compared to our 2.X AKU right now?
Faster response
More stability
WPA2 wifi support
new BT stacks
and a few more things. Comparing the jump from AKU2.3 to AKU3.5 from the Mio, applications and the PDA itself where MUCH faster. it was easily visable.
Theres other things too, but the speed, stability and also bug fixing makes it worthwile. for me though, WPA2 is a MASSIVE thing as every network i access now incorporates it, and i cant use wifi in these places now.

New ROM with AKU 3
I just read on www.pocketinfo.nl (http://www.pocketinfo.nl/artikel/7226/htc-tytn-krijgt-aku3-update-en-crossbow-update-lekt-uit.html) an article in Dutch mentioning the outcoming of the new official rom with aku3 at the end of january.
The article:
Windows CE 6 arrives with 100% kernel source
Check this out!!!

Wonder what devices are preinstall with WM6
Here are all the spec of the AKU 3 see this http://msmobiles.com/news.php/5857.html and the thing most important of AKU 3 is the selection of the language OS... I will finally have my TYTN in Italian language!!!

Translation:
The HTC TyTN, also known as the HTC Hermes, is getting a rom-update to AKU3. HTC Europe will provide the update on the support section of the european HTC website from the end of january. Besides the extra features of AKU3 it should also fix the known problems with the HTC TyTN. Good news, except for people who bought a TyTN-variant from their operator, like T-Mobile. It's still uncertain if the update will be available for these models. They can however install the official HTC ROM-update, but will lose their waranty in the process.

Friends, don´t get too exited. One website quotes the other, and so on...there is no official news on the content of any future ROM update. And HTC is not interested in providing AKU updates unless serious problems can be solved. Learn from HTC experience... Remember HTC has to pay license fees on a per-machine-basis...

And we will pay! Or may be a good layer will help us (remenber the Intel math processor bug?)
For the past four years i have been using windows mobile, i started back with my trusty motorola mpx200 with windows mobile 2002 standard yes you hear it right, after that i discovered that i could flash windows mobile 2003 and i said YES but how can i do it?, after that i submerge my self into understanding almost everything there was to know about my mpx200 flashing procedure and oh wow was i impressed, it completely blew my mind away knowing that i could FLASh my phone and change it OS almost like a computer and so after wm2003, i found a windows mobile 5 update and so i flash it and after a wile it was cool but i started to get bored of my mpx200, so i started reading about its brother the mpx220 and so i went and bought it used of ebay just like my mpx200, but omg when i got it in my hands i was so disappointed it had a smaller screen it was ugly as hell, AND I COULDN'T FLASH IT!!! that drive me NUTS!, but i said oh well il use it what the hell', after a couple of months i started reading about another smartphone the htc tornado(this was my first htc phone) and i went on and bought it yet again used form ebay =], and when i got oh wow the screen the size everything was perfect and guess what i could FLASH IT YES! and so my quest of flashing my tornado started flashing from winmo6.0 to winmo professional 6.5(at the very end of me having it), after that i decided i need a more powerfull phone, so i went on researching for a cheap pocket pc and so i found the htc blueangel, and i said i WANT IT, it was touchscreen a 400mhz cpu i said o yeah me want it NOW!, and so i bought for 60$ on ebay used LOLL ahahaha i love ebay , and well when i got it i was amazed it was so powerfull(for me atleast at that time) i went on and flashed 10000 roms =], and everything was well for a couple of months until i got tired of its dull screen and overall humongous size =D, then i said damn i need yet another phone and so i discovered the HTC Raphael, i said omg its got my name i want it! =), but there was a problem it was the priciest of them all 300$ used and i said damn thats to much for me, but i went on using my trusty brickangel , at that time i was unemployed and i was looking for a job and os i found one but still i was making enough to buy the htc raphael , but i remember that my older bro once said that if i found a job he would buy me a phone of my choosing, and so i told him yo bro i want this phone get it for me ahahaha( i was joking to him, i was going to save money and buy it), but guess what one day i come home and there it was in from of my laptop the most beautiful and elegant looking phone i had own till then, it was amazing everything was perfect about the screen/keyboard/ram etc(except for the slugish msm7201a it had it hated it) so again i flashed my phone like a maniac but in time i just couldn't stand its sluggishness, and so i started yet another quest for looking another more powerfull pocketpc, and so one day i was checking the General Section of xda and i found a post by hdubli "Acer s200 ask anything" and so i click on it and there it was the most beautiful stylish power pocket pc i had ever WANTED!!, it was simply amazing, i couldn't wait till i got it in my hands, and so i started saving money like a mother F**** =D, until one day i had saved 500$ which was what i need to buy my self the amazing Acer s200, so i bought it 2day air shipping, got it four days alter the ebay store raped me =[, but w/e i finally got it started using it and i just couldn't believe it, it was fast as HELLL! i mean it dint felt like i was using a windows mobiel phone it felt like something else, and so i said to my self damn i got a powerfull pocket pc but no roms to flash =[, but to my surprised i saw a post by hdubli stating he started experimenting with the acer s200 and so he manage to cook a custom rom and i said YES!! custom roms for me wooohoo!, and so few weeks later 23505 vanilla was out and i flash it, and damn was i impressed, everything was perfect exept for the damn wake up issues that started poping everywere on the acer s200 scene, but oh well i had to live it, so i decided to contact harshal to see if he could let me beta test his roms and so he said yes, so i started testing his roms for a wile everytime wanting to get my hands drity but he kept on saying he dint wanted to share his kitchen cause there was no fail save flasher yet, but few days later there was a russian rom update and so dimice made a hacked acer_euu.exe which enable us to flash withough active sync, so he shared his kitchen i downloaded and from this point my rom cooking addcition started i started to learn a lot from harshal, and i mean a lot he taught me almost everything i know about rom cooking(thanks harshal for this) and so i started to read a lot about rom cooking, and decided to make a public rom, so Black Neo beta was born, had a lot of sitback but i had to learn from trial and error, and so v1.0 came then 2.0,2.7(by this time i released my ktichen) and finally 3.0 also around here unforseenenemy jump into the acer s200 rom cooking scene( i taught him =]), after this 3.0 version, i decided to start a new line of roms 'Rosso Relativo" which i only have released an almost final beta, and now braze your self's for what im about to say, after a few days of working on the rom and thinking a lot about the windows mobile scene and the release of windows phone 7 series, i have given it a LOT of though, from this day on im resigning from the acer s200 rom cooking scene or let me put it this way i will not cook as much maybe 1 release every 9 months who knows, you maybe thinking why? well honestly i cant stand windows mobile anymore, im tired of its 2d UI, its everyday freeze ups and overall inestability i have stand up to it for far to long(more than 4 years), i no longer enjoy cooking roms for my acer s200,even tho builds are released almost constantly, its just the same every single time nothing changes(exept for 6.5.3) but regardless windows mobile 6.5/6.5.3 builds are just minor updates each time, most of these current winmo devices are capable of a much more rich UI with there open gl ES capable Onboard GPUs, and still they have a 6 years old kernel UI, for these and many other reasons i have decided to sell my acer s200 and buy my self am acer liquid, yes i know android is not perfect but for now its exactly what i want of an Mobile Operating system, i have used it before and i enjoy a LOT more than windows mobile...guys im so sorry if i let some of you down, im really really sorry but i just cant stand windows mobile anymore...and dont worry guys i taught unforseenenemy rom cooking and trust me he knows almost everything i know or maybe more, support his roms as his the best rom cooker after me, with this i also want to take time to thank people that donated, you guys help me a lot with my bills, i couldn't have done it withough you guys and for that you have my eternal gratitude and no i dont forget everyone else that supported my work and said nice things about my work, you guys made my rom cooking a joy =], so guys again im sorry if i let anyone down but i just cant go on with windows mobile, i might come back when wp7 releases i don't know, well see what happens.
Sincerly...Rafyvitto
PS: Windows Mobile will always have a place in my heart
You must know that cooking Android ROMs is much complicated than WM, but I am happy to see new Liquid user. I had same feelings about WM, and I haven't expected too much from WM7, that's why I switched. When I prepared to buy new device, I chose between s200 and Liquid, but my feelings bout WM was so bad that I decided to go on Android side.
Cheers

Well, it sound very bad for us... but what can i say... just good luck and hope that unforseenenemy keep going and can give us any working rom, not like Rafy unfinished ones

Paz amigo.
Sorry to hear that. Good luck with android.
Thanks again for the great moments of joy you gave us with your roms.
Stay close.
thanks rafyvitto, I really appreciated your work, I'll try one of your android when I'll decide to leave wm
Well my friend I cannot thank you enough for your efforts--people like you are THE reason I have continued to use and recommend the WinMo experience. Believe me I often wonder when the day will come for me as well--especially with what seems like a very locked and proprietary Phone7 just around the corner ---but for now the speed, beauty and flexibility of the S200 have kept me in the fold---please keep us updated on your experiences (both here and my home acer/eten forum). Your work is appreciated
Stoma
funny, i also tried android on Acer Liquid, and i hate it!
i just cant stand capacitive screen, why restricts yourself by using finger only!
you will have sore thumb or finger after texting or emails after awhile.
windows mobile with resistive screen let you use finger, nail, and stylus!
Rafyvitto, thank you for the neotouch kitchen! now that you gone, i have no choice but try to cook it myself, i just love to play with lastest/newest wm build!
Well, rafy, as I repeatedly said you before, one must take the things around him with moderation... When the wow-effect fades, you'll be left with just another a little bit more-than-average successful iPhone clone... And you'll return to the WinMo's ugly, but sturdy and function-rich home
Anyway, good luck with Liquid.
I'm sad to hear this.
But thanks alot for your hard work and your time to improve our cell phones. Except some minor bugs my Phone is near to perfect - thanks to YOU-
Thank you again for everything u've done here
Have fun with Android and your new cell phone
That's very sad news for us S200 users.
I have been a loyal fan of your ROMs, flashing every new release as soon as I could. You and your ROMs have made the S200 that much better for all of us users. But you created your own legacy and before leaving, you passed your knowledge on to another user to ensure the development of the S200 and its cooked ROMs continued.
I can't thank you enough for giving me the chance to get that much more out of my beloved neotouch and I wish you well and good luck with your android experience!
Thanks for everything Rafyvitto!
Thank you guys for all your kind words, and btw....im not done yet...;D
Hi
I'm probably going to buy a Xperia Neo V next month (I have a X8 at the moment) but I have some doubts, if someone could answer them I'd thank.
I was wondering if you have a good forum and developers support?
If the phone has some major problem or something like that; what's the best rom you have now, just so I take a look; and that's it.
Thanks in advance, and pardon me for my english if I wrote something incorrect x)

Here there are many people working to get more support and also ROMS, and more people working for ICS to be functional. The ROM is the most functional 2.3.4. But I'm with ICS, say, everything working.
Aqui tem muita gente trabalhando para obtermos mais suporte e também ROMS, e mais gente trabalhando para o ICS ficar funcional. A ROM mais funcional é a 2.3.4. Mas já estou com ICS, vamos dizer, tudo funcionando.
I'd say, get the Xperia U next month. Better specs, longer updates and almost the same price.
We are indeed trying to get the best forum for development. Search, read ... and use better title. Thread closed
