Help: Questions about Voice Talk+my headphones+voice dialing

I checked around here and found no threads that could FULLY answer my questions.
I have a set of Bluetooth headphones that I like to wear while I am biking or walking my dog. I use them to listen to music and to make/answer hands-free calls when necessary. So far, everything seems to be working ok. Whenever I press the Call button on my headphones, my music pauses and the Voice (or whatever that Vlingo-powered app is called) opens and I am able to simply say "Hi Galaxy" and then say "Call Whoever."
Here is my question/problem though:
Whenever I press that Call button on my headphones and that Voice app opens, the screen also turns on! Whenever I am using my headphones, the phone is in my pocket (FYI, I am also weird in that I ALWAYS place the phone in my pocket with the screen facing away from my body) so I cant even see the screen anyways.
Should I be concerned about the screen coming on while in my pocket AND/OR is there a way to keep the screen off when that Voice app opens?
I havent had it happen yet, but I am afraid of my clothing somehow pushing a button on the Voice app and screwing something up! Especially since I am moving my legs and my pants might be rubbing against the phone screen.
I appreciate anyone explaining how I can fix this issue OR someone explaining to me why I dont need to worry.
In case it is needed:
Phone: SGH-I777 AT&T Galaxy S II (rooted, debranded (still AT&T though), running stock 2.3.4 firmware)
Headphones: Sony Ericsson MW600
Music App: Poweramp
Voice App: Default Voice (Powered by Vlingo) app
Oh BTW, if anyone asks about whether the Sony Ericsson MW600 headphones work with this phone: YES, YES THEY DO. Very well in fact!
(I was worried too because after updating my old SE Xperia X10 to 2.3.3, the music, no matter what app used, kept hiccuping every few random seconds! I am SOOOOOO glad they work perfectly on my new phone!!!! )
There's very little chance of anything happening. As you haven't even had it happen to you.
Though for jogging I'd highly recommend and arm band phone holder like one of these:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicat...CODE=GOOGLEBASE&cm_mmc_o=VRqCjC7BBTkwCjCECjCE
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App
I also find this annoying. Screen also turns on when you end the call with the headset. The whole purpose of bluetooth is handsfree so I'm not sure why they designed it like this
glad to hear that there is nothing to worry about regarding accidental button press. still wish the screen wouldn't come on though.
ill look into one of those armbands just because though. it may make things easier when biking. Thanks oh gr8hairy1 (love that name).
EDIT
I ordered one.

Issue with BT audio and Chrome?

Hey,
I just tried this with my own Sony Xperia Z+Jabra Clipper, a colleagues Xperia Z+Sony BT headset and another colleagues Nexus 5+Jabra Clipper and seems to be an issue with Chrome?
Anyone else having these issues?
Steps to reproduce the problem:
Ensure Chrome browser is not in recent apps list
Start or receive a call with bluetooth headset
Go back to home screen and start Chrome
Call is now directed to the phones speaker
Very odd, could this be related to the voice integration in Google Now and Chrome?

[Q] Any way to switch microphone ?

Hi everyone !
The bottom mic of my Xperia Z doesn't work anymore but the back microphone (the one next to the camera) still works (when I record a video).
It's really annoying since the bottom mic is used for calls and a lot of other apps.
So here is my question : is there any way to force the phone to use the back microphone for calls and/or for google Now (which I'd like to use) instead of the bottom one ?
My Xperia Z is running Sony's lollipop and is not rooted.
Thank you

Looking to use my Android Tablet as Phone Dialer!

Hi Guys,
I am looking to use my Android Tablet to initiate phone calls on my phone. is there any app that does this?
For example, on my car, my car stereo links with my phone via BlueTooth and i can browse contacts and dial them from the car stereo where the call initiates from my phone. (so my own number is displayed when making the call)
I am looking for similar experience via tablet, I launch the app, see my contacts and click on a contact, phone dials their number !
The closest one i found was Mightytext which does this only on PC not on Tablet! I understand I can use hangout to dial from tablet, the issue with that is, I dont get my number.
Any help is appreciated.

Microphone default settings

Hey guys, so I've had my pocophone for a while now, the phone works fine, although I have an issue. Whenever I call with someone, it seems like I'm far away from the microphone. I've tested the microphone using a microphone testing app, there I noticed that when I talk directly to the camera, it seems to pick up way more than when I try to talk on the bottom mic (the 6 dots on the left next to the usb input). So I've been wondering, why is it like this? And is there a way to fix this? I have to use an external mic (from my earphones) to be able to communicate clearly since it picks up that microphone instead, but I'd prefer it if I can just talk to the phone directly.
