Now my question, if i update my rom, will it still be unlocked?

Dear all,
I have a HTC One X+ which has been updated to 4.2.2 via OTA and got software 2.18.707.5. After that, I have unlocked bootloader, rooted, got recovery and flashed cook roms with a nandroid backup. Since I would like to get back to stock ROM but I have tried many RUU with 1.17 but it's failed certainly. I wonder whether I could downgrade my HOX+ or not to flash a RUU with 1.17. I have tried google it out but cannot find an answer. If anyone know how to downgrade a HOX+ from 4.2.2 to 4.1, please guide me. My HOX+ has s-off already. Many thanks!

I had purchased HTC One Mini but it was rooted, I need to unroot the device. I did S-Off and changed the CID to 11111111.
Now I am looking for RUU (GSM based) would be good if I get Europe image because I am using GSM based network.
HTC Dev has Cingular image, can I install this ROM to my device? would my SIM be working on it or not?

Hello, I have HTC ONE M8 AT&T but my carrier isn't AT&T ,so previously i was on 4.4.2 than 4.4.4 released and i downloaded RUU from HTC official site and updated my phone without phone , just now i contacted HTC suppor to ask when Lollipop update will be released for AT&T , so he said i can install Lollipop update for unlocked versions which is released and i won't have any problem ? Please anybody help me will it really work ? Phone is RELOCKED

If your phone's CID is for at&t and you're s-on there's nothing you can do. Your options would be to pay for sunchine s-off and flash de lp firmware and one of the LP roms around. Once you're s-off you can either change CID to some other carriers with LP or unlocked and get that update. Or you can do what I did to get LP. Once you're on 4.4.4 get a custom recovery and flash viper Rom. It's LP and works perfectly.

Moved here as this does not belong in the Development Section, read the Forum Rules on posting....
I highly doubt it was told to you that you could install the developer ruu on an ATT device,wont work as cid is not same. Best option is if soff change cid to BS_US001 and then you can flash the developer build and not have to wait on ATT builds.

hello, i have htc one m8 (eye) version, i just wanna know that, would any of the regular htc one m8 roms work on my htc one m8(eye) verison ?
and also i am not able to root my phone.. though unlocked the bootloader !
and its getting s-on !

If you have already unlocked bootloader of your HTC m8 Eye then just install twrp 2.8.0.3 on your phone and install superSU the phone get root automatically.
You can also google : How to install twrp in Htc m8 eye.

I have a HTC Desire 601 with the JB version, and I want to upgrade it to KK in order to install a Custom ROM, but I can't find the way to upgrade it, since my phone is from Orange ES and them didn't release the KK update.
Is there a way to update it safely? I'm asking for help, I'm desperate!
