Hi
I recently purchased a dual sim Touch Desire G7 (HTC Clone) smartphone and loaded the SmartProtect software which appears an impressive piece of software.
I successfully sent a test text message from my Smart Protect software to my partner phones without any issue. Unfortunately when I tried sending a command to my phone from my partner phone, the ::/getGPSLocation,mypassword or ::/getIEMI,mypassword text message appears on my smartphone and no response is received from my partner phone. Is there something I am doing wrong?
Thank you
DGJM
Hi
I have 2 smart phones and tried the software on my older one which works no problem. My old phone is a Glofiish X800 running on Windows Mobile 6 (CE OS 5.2.1620)
My new phone is a Touch G7 Desire (HTC Desire Clone) running on Windows 6.5 Professional (CE OS 5.2.23101), which this program doesn't seam to work on. Any suggestions how to fix this or if there is another similar software that does the same thing? Please advise.
Thank you.

Has anyone successfully ported Android to the HP Elite x3? If so, how is it Done? I love the phone, but it would be immensely more useful on Android.

Any luck?
I'm also stuck with this problem...
Since HP officially shutting down phone operations, maybe it is possible to ask them for whatever is needed to so that the community can develop android Rom? Something like happened in old good days with HTC HD2 (i know they didn't provide officially but they released HTC Desire which was on android)?
I have also HP elite X3 and it is imposible for now to install android into phone, I would likte to try is that exist.
Also In dec.2017 there is a big ugrade 1709 for windows and HP elite X3.
So this platform for sure is not dead, also for me better is to run android apps on WP than to install android.
After a couple of years I was back to microsoft, android i so buggy but on different side there is much more apps on android.
We just need emulatr for android or side install for apk.s

I am talking to people in HP to see what we can do.
Me too
Hello to all,
I'm a WP die hard fan, however with the imminent death of the platform, I would like to continue to use this device and explore its potential. If anyone has any info on ROMs that can be ported to the HP Elite X3 that would be great.
i also want a fix for this....
One more subscriber for this solution. I have 2 Elite X3 phones and will be twice happier to have Android on both devices. This is the best hardware and its really deserve Android.
Yes, I would like that, too. The hardware is awesome, but WP10 is dead. Apps are disappearing now...

Yep, just reached the end of the road with the Elite X3 with the withdrawal of Messenger, the family communications medium.
The frustrating bit is that I would take it almost as read that someone in HP's skunkworks would have made a decent stab at porting Android to the X3, but it remains at the bottom of some virtual filing cabinet.
How good would it be of HP to put it on Google Play ...
Any news on Android porting to HP Elite x3?
Hello,

The download links are borken. Does anyone have another method?
Hello, I have Astell&Kern Kann Alpha DAC and I have a question about gms. Is possible to Make a ROM from the source code (link is below) with GMS included or made an upgraded version of Android? The actual source code is Android 9, and I'd like to have Android 10/11. It is a good DAC but without GMS only with Open-Service provider, there is a big limitation of using 3rd party apps. I haven't any experiences with Android modifications, so I wanted to ask. Thank you.

I know it´s been nearly a year and a half . But I´m stil curious to know if you ever got any further in your search for custom firmware for the discontinued A&K devices
Kind regards

Unfortunately, no. I didn't found any custom ROM for A&K devices.
@DasXardas
That´s a bummer. I wish I could help you further, but i´m also just a frustrated user stucked using the AK connect app for android and streaming Tidal over DLNA . I assume you are stucked with this solution also ?
I own the ak70 . Really premium device , and it´s typical to see, that this market , like the electronics market in general, is all about selling new devices , rather than maintaining the older models.
But on the positive side, it´s a big plus that the AK connect app is holding the older devices from being a paperweight ;-)
