Congrats on your streak purchase. I have the same version and can switch between at&t/tmobile, here in the US.
Can we dump the FW for the others? I think this would be nice. And how about OTA updates? Will we get them first?
Strange, that any cooker are here yet. The Streak is a greate device.

If you dump boot and system partition I can piece an update.zip together.
Hello all, I bought the same device with the same build in France and there wasn't any problem of rooting it with Universalandroot ^^... I just open a french website about this device .

Hey Onmipresent,
I just bought a T-Mobile engineering version, will get it tomorrow, how can I update to 2.1 without rooting? Can I just copy the update to the sd card and launch in bootloader? Is this safe to do? I'm new at mods, just looking for some help.. much appreciated.

First of all, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1160408 is the answer to your question. You should not be lusting to get back to the OTA as there is a risk of hard bricking your atrix.
If you still want to go back to the Bell Gingerbread update, you should try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195922. I have tried it and it works.
Also, there is another way of getting back to the Bell Gingerbread update, try this, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1175990&highlight=bell+atrix.
I have tried getting Bell GB with both above mentioned methods and they work, as long as you follow the instructions.
Good Luck
Cheers

You may as well read a lot more, unless what you really want is rotting your Streak You haven't seen anything about the Rogers version, because there is nothing specific about the Rogers version or the AT&T version or the Olleh version, that would require specific instructions on flashing a custom recovery & rom or rooting. But don't take my word for it, here is the xda wiki for the streak 5 , something that i think should be stickied in all Streak Forums.
OK so I'm new here to the HD2 forums so hey. I just been given one as a temp replacement to a broken SE Xperia Mimmi.
So I've found it easy to get android on to my HD2 and everything went smoothly (a few hiccups, nothing serious though). What I didn't think about though was the availability of the original ROM of windows mobile that was on the phone. I didn't write it down because I had read already that you can just flash back for warranty purposes. And I also knew that there were official ROMs posted here. But, I cant find the original Telstra branded ROM. Maybe I've missed it as I may be labelled something else, I don't know, but I have searched and i can't find it.
Can I please get some help as to where I can find this ROM or even another Telstra branded ROM.
If you need any more information from me just let me know.
Cheers,
Evil.
What about the Telstra ROM 1.72.841.0 provided on official Australian HTC site: http://www.htc.com/au/help/htc-hd2/#download
I don't know if there is any difference to New Zealand HD2 Telstra models.
You can also have a look on Telstra thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633404
Hey thanks for that. I dont need the NZ one if there is one, just the australian one as the phone is from there.
The link to the htc site works but when I click on download it doesn't download, it redirects to a google chrome page saying
"Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to dl4.htc.com"
Any suggestions?
Cheers,
Evil
I tried IE8 and FF8, both are working, file is downloadable.
