Just saw it today. Otterbox is going to have a case for the slide!
Otterbox dot come and look under HTC cases!
I saw it about a week ago. Its a bit basic looking, but knowing them it's as tough as a brick s%!t house. I own several of their products and can vouch for them. Great products.
Looks good, the more aftermarket support the better!
Finally!!
My only gripe is $35.00 for a case is off the chain!
But seeing as they'll be the only manufacturer of a good case
for this phone I'll shut up and pay.
Same, i had an otterbox for my BB. It was kind of a race, who would release my case first? Otterbox or Siedio? Looks like Otter wins.
Thanks drazile, finally something of what appears to be superb quality.
I ranted and raved to them wanting a case and was told basically due to the split slider design that they would not likely make one. I went back and forth for a month or more. Then finally ditch my slide for a vibrant and now I hear this! Well its still a great thing. Wife has my slide now so I may get one for her if I can talk her into giving up that god awful rhine stone monstrosity she has now.
Direct Link
Still listed as coming soon, I put my e-mail in to be notified when it will be available so I will let you know when I get it. Love this phone, but it sure hasn't gotten the love from accesory makers.

This is definitely exciting. Been holding out on buying a case so I wouldn't waste money on garbage. Looks like I'll finally have a place to drop some money at.

Body Glove.
I've been waiting for this too, but now body glove has one for 25 that looks better than what I see on the otterbox page. I dont think they are going to have a defender series.

Which body glove case are your referring to? Hopefully it isn't the one sold through tmo. That case cost a decent bit and was total garbage if you took the case off more then a couple times. The real problem with putting a case on a slide type phone is that there is nowhere for the case to get a good grip. They rely on these thin tabs that must be thin in order to fit in the cracks and not cause friction, but being thin causes them to bend and wear quickly when case is taken off repeatedly. So if you have a couple batteries that you like to switch between, a case is likely not for you on this phone. Im hoping this otterbox case will be different somehow, perhaps very high quality tabs. I would love to buy one for my wife but I certainly wont be a guinea pig after that pos body glove case.
bulkyglove cases ...
This bodyglove case looks to have a bit better coverage on the screen part of the slide than the one tmo sells. My issue with the bodyglove cases (besides the faulty tabs) is the amazing amount of bulk they add to the device ... too much to warrant a purchase in my opinion. The otter box case looks sweet but I am concerned the demand has not prompted them to make a production run. If you're interested in the otter box case please sign up for it at the site so they know the demand is there.
Just got the email, the MT3GS Otterbox case is available: http://www.otterbox.com/HTC-myTouch...tch2-20101022&cid=emu-lch-htc4-mtch2-20101022
Yep, that is correct! It's available online.

But it only comes in black! That's fine for y'all with white or black phones, but I love my red one. Oh sure, some of the color would show as trim, but.....
That's not really an issue. How hard is it to remove and replace?
Looking forward to a review when someone gets one.
So who's going to be the guinea pig? I'm extremely disappointed with the Body Glove case tabs. After a couple months, I'm down to one tab, lol.

That's a downer I just ordered one from Amazon, but the bonus was it was only 12 bucks, and of course I got the e-mail from Otterbox about 10 hours after I placed the order that it was now available.

Sorry archie. You might have better luck than I did. It would've held up better if I didn't have to pull the battery a couple times. It's a solid case though. I'm still rocking it with 1 tab.

I am hoping there are some people here who know about what brands/sites are good ones or trustworthy.
Ok, picking up my Evo 3D on Friday..... and surprise surprise, the phone isn't even out yet, yet there are a million different places with brands nobody has ever heard of with supposed cases for this phone, some of them even having dimensions smaller than the phone itself despite being listed as for the 3D.... (Yes I know, no need to tell me many manufacturers will take existing stock and claim it works for the new device just to sell it).
So the thing is, I have no idea what cases might be designed specifically for the HTC Evo 3D, or even any respectable sites to buy such cases from.
But I am also sorta over-complicating the issue by not being sure if I should first over a back cover for the phone or not. See, I am not a fan of the way the camerapod sticks out, I was wondering if there were any GOOD cases that add enough bulk to essentially make the cameras level with the rest of the phone, even if this will add thickness.
Something like this, but I don't know if this really is an official HTC product or not, and if there aren't better ones (or if that is a trustworthy site):
http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wireless/store/productdetail.asp?productid=28040
And this brings me to my main concern. The main case I want to get is a belt-clip holster, not just a simple little clip that attaches the phone to your belt but basically a whole pouch to hold it, something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Black-Horizontal-Leather-Magnetic-Closing/dp/B0051IGCAI
But on top of the problem I already mentioned of there being a million cases just simply calling themselves a HTC Evo 3D case... there is also the issue of how it will fit. Normally, I don't care if a case is a little too big for a phone since it will hold it anyway, but all of my previous phones didn't have sensitive parts like the camera sticking out so much before, if I were to get a case, id want one designed to hold the pushed-out camera in place too.... but that would only work if I decide not to get a case that ads bulk for the purpose of keeping the cameras flush with the back of the phone.... and if I do decide to go with a back-cover to add bulk, will those pouch-cases then even still hold the phone or will it then be too thick?
Sigh... I'm over-complicating things aren't I? So anyway, any ideas? Its a shame those back-covers that increase the size of the phone can't make use of that size, such as storing a slightly higher capacity battery or something.
That first one's badass. I wonder how much coverage you get on the front. I ordered two slide together ones (like the innocase surface, but a clone), and one super-silicone one. I like buying a bunch of different colored cases to shake things up every now and then.

where is the case with the kickstand?
I went yesterday to a sprint store and got me a otterbox commuter case. I love it. They had about 4 different kinds but none with a kickstand. They also had the car dock as well.
TPU case for me. Ordered a few weeks ago from ebay, $4 shipped.

I got the case that Best Buy sells with a kick stand. It's 2-piece, kickstand, soft-touch, protects well. Very streamline. It costs too much ($40.00) but I had some reward points and ended up getting it for free. Love it!
Hmph, just terrific. To complicate matters, that hardshell case I posted isn't even available until July 13 apparently.... and nobody is showing that it looks like from the front...
I guess I should just at the minimum get a belt-clip pouch for now. Does anyone know of any good horizontal ones that were specifically designed for the Evo 3D instead of just general cases that roughly fit a phone of that shape?
I just thought I may as well post a little review on this case. I bought this case at the same AT&T Corp store that I bought my SGS II on Sunday.
This case has a very high quality feel to it. The fitment was incredibly tight though. This is likely because it is designed to fit both the international and AT&T SGS II devices. This should be obvious if you look at the fourth pic. It clearly shows openings for both the international and AT&T NC mic positions.
I have to be honest, I only chose this case because the Case-Mate and Ballistic options were far too bulky for my taste. This case provides enough protection, for me anyway, without adding too much bulk. I really wasn't too keen on the leather insert at first either.
In the last few days of use, I have come to really like this case. I even appreciate the leather insert. It provides a high-end feel to the case and provides for outstanding grip. The front lip barely covers the chrome bezel. I actually had to work the case to get it to completely wrap around the front of the device. The end result is a case that looks and feels like part of the phone.
At this point, I can say I highly recommend this case for anyone who doesn't need a bulky case (although they provide more protection), and who also wants something more than just a gel cover.

Thanks for this review! I am looking for something less bulky than the case-mate. I'll have to check this out when I stop in my local ATT store. How much they selling them for?
I believe it was the usual rip-off price of $35. However, they give me 20% off on accessories at this store (frequent shopper there LOL). I am sure there are better deals, but I did not want to take a chance of messing up my phone before finding a case elsewhere. I paid full retail price so a few extra bones wasn't that big of a deal.
I was planning to return it, but I can't find anything similar online. If I find it online cheaper, I will buy it and return this one for sure. Either way, I am happy enough as it is.
I just bought this case today. I love it! Its like a mix between a hard case and tpu. If you had the bodyglove case on your captivate, you'll love this case. I like the look of the leather back, as I think it adds some class. This case doesn't add that much bulk either.
That was my first choice but the store rep couldn't get it to fit properly so I went with the ballistic even In this case the phone feels tiny in my Herman Munster hands after the infuse in a ballistic case I love this phone just gotta adjust to it

I also got this case. I like it a lot, it keeps the same of the phone without adding much bulk at all!
I got this case for my AT&T Galaxy S2 on launch day and I LOVE it. The Ballistics were just ridiculous. As far as getting the case on goes, I couldn't get it to fit at first but if you put it in bottom only, completely lip it; then top, completely lip it; then work the sides, it will always fit perfectly. Sometimes I feel like Gollum caressing my precious Ring with this baby.
Picked up this case today and absolutely love it. It doesn't add much weight to the phone and i feel it still keeps it slimness. As far as fitment goes. It does fit damn tight. I put it on the best I could at the store. I squeezed the sides to get the lip to go over but never could get the bottom corners to cover properly. Once I got home, I took it back out, then put it back on in reverse. This did the trick and it went on a lot easier.
I'm probably going to end up buying this case ASAP... I was interested in it for a while, but was afraid that it may have been too bulky.
Thanks for the feedback guys!

I just picked this case up from the AT&T store today. I have to say, it isn't a bad case but it adds a little bulk to the phone. I have another case coming in from Amazon tomorrow so we will see which one is better. I am not really a fan of the buttons being covered though since it makes it a little harder to press. I can already tell that this case will offer a lot of protection to any standard drop.
This is a great case!! been having it since Monday.
One thing to note is that if you are getting a discount on your cell phone plan you should also get that same discount on any accessories that you buy from AT&T.
I too chose this case with my purchase. it was the best of the lot,but I cannot keep this case. it just does not fit. I get 50% accessories on my plan. I went back to a store (not the one I got it from) thinking that they might have others. When I told the rep about the fit she said they are having returns for the same reasons. Found one that seem better on ebay waiting for it to come in. In the mean time I will kee this case to protect my baby, but will return within 30 days.
On another note anyone got the ivisor AG screen protector? not sure i am liking it. It seem to make my screen dim because of the non-glare, cant seem to find any good one on the net, they all seem to be for the international version. things are new so I will wait a bit.

What problems are you having with fitment? While it does take a little bit to get it on right, it should still fit. I had problems with the bottom corners until I took it out then put in back on, starting on the opposite end.

The one I ordered and received from Amazon covers only the volume u/d buttons and has a cutout for the sleep/power button. I can press the power button just fine. I like this case better than the AGF from AT&T. It doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone and was almost 1/3 the price so I will return it after work.

That one doesn't look bad. I see they made a large cut out where the power button goes. Don't really care for that big cutout but to each his own. Mine has actually become a lot easier over the last day or so. I guess the compound loosens up over time.
Just got my GS2 today and bought this case at the same time. I wanted something sleek after a Ballistic case on my Infuse and this seemed perfect.
As others have stated it's a tight fit. The sales rep couldn't get it on completely so I had to play with it myself. Another post stated putting bottom and top on first. I had better luck with the sides first. Maybe it is just loosening up after trying 2-3 times to get it on.
The volume and power buttons being covered are going to take getting used to as it takes a good press to work them.
To sum up, love the case so far. Seems to be good quality and good protection.
I tried this case on yesterday and did not like the fit. The ATT store only had one so I am going to try a few more to see if they fit better. It was tight and I couldn't keep the lip over the edges all the way around no matter how hard I tried.

OK, I'm not a fan. Its an OtterBox knockoff without the hard plastic case. But $9.00, you have nothing to loose!

For the price I'd go with Technocel over ebay's version. I actually have it and it's quite nice.
Believe it or not they are the SAME EXACT item. Technocel asks a manufacturer in China to make it, then they make it for Technocel, then sell some on eBay themselves. I ran into the same situation with the following:
this Amazon case
and
this eBay case
SAME THING!
I got it on eBay for $2.95 + free shipping.
BoxWave was going to sell it for $19.95 and a shipping charge. I bought it from eBay, while BoxWave was having a pre-sale. (It would be shipped when ready.) People actually paid $19.95 for it.
I emailed the company and told them and their response was "I'm glad you found a similar case."
I sent them the links, and they replied "It is the same, because of this, we will lower our price to $9.95", and they did, but I got the case before it came out in the US directly from the manufacturer at a cheaper price.

The issue I see with this case as well as the Technocel one is the fact neither provide much screen protection in the sense that if your Motorola Photon 4G falls either face down or bounces on the ground and ends up face down, your LCD more than likely will shatter. If I'm not sporting the Otterbox Defender Series case for mine, I'll carry my Motorola Photon 4G in a Trident Aegis Series one. True, the Aegis Series cases don't have a holster clip like the one you reference or the Technocel case/holster combo Mongofrye, but I find the Aegis case by itself is thin enough for keeping in my pocket.

At the same time, both cases provide a lip that protect the screen. At the same time, you have a Gorilla Glass Screen. Now, I love Trident, and I would have a Trident case for my Photon but I could not stand not having a landscape holster. So, that is the only reason why I choose the Defender...
Trident does have wonderful cases though!
Go for the Trident Aegis if you don't mind being without a holster, guys! Great Case!.

i saw this one on amazon and figured it is like the one they sell at the sprint store. I like it because (minus the holster) it is very low profile.
I honestly like very basic protection. i hate adding tons of bulk to my phone. The one on Ebay looks different in the fact that it has a soft inside on the holster and the clip swivels in order to act like a stand. Could be used at a desk and you could flip it around to allow charging while in landscape mode.
Either way, i looked a little deeper into amazon and found i think the same one as the one you posted above for only $2.99 + .99 shipping. I went ahead and ordered it. I'll report back on quality.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006L8APYQ/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details
In my opinion, the TPU cases provide probably the best protection with the least amount of bulk, but i just can't stand that there aren't cutouts over the volume and camera buttons. Such a pain. If anyone can find me one, i'll jump on it.
This is just another instance where the case is the EXACT same as the Technocel case listed above, and for this reason, I'm gonna go ahead and order it. Savingsss, oh, how I love savings!

price seems pretty steep for a silicone case. TPU cases usually go for the same amount or cheaper and they come off just as easy but offer more security than silicone cases.
if you jumped on the deal for the extra chargers for work, i would reconsider for something more reliable. i, and many others, would vouche for this car charger bc it charges nearly as fast as a wall charger and has a long track record, though i got it for $2 at the time:

all in all, this is just my opinion. im sure it will hold you by since its just for work

I hear what ur sayin but I waste so much money on stupid crap that I dont even care anymore. I might order one of these as well http://www.ebay.com/itm/HTC-EVO-4G-...946818?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2c65691642
Or maybe ill just wait to see what comes out after the release date if im not happy with the silicone one.
A friend of mine has that motorola charger and I agree, it does work well.
If you end up being happy with it, then you got a great deal. If you notice that the silicon stretches over time, consider TPU, which is equally cheap. I understand exactly what you mean about throwing a lot of money away...
Just to update: I got the phone today and ive had the case for a couple days now. The case fits perfectly. Everything lines up to where it should be.

I prefer the thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) cases, they add the least amount of bulk and provide adequate protection. I have one on my 3D and with a screen protector it has survived a year with a few light drops and is still in mint condition.
I ordered the same one on ebay as listed above (Smoke) and got it today, good seller fast shipping
Plus they are only around $5-$10 delivered! Compared to my wife's $40 otterbox that has been warrantied 4 times in less than 11 months!

Looks great, a little lighter smoke than the one I have for my 3D. Still allows for the red to shine through. I got Item #261030362042.
I'm in TX and got it in 2 days, never know with USPS and Monday is holiday.

Awesome! Thanks for the input. Can't wait till they come in so I can check them out
I have the black one and I hate it. I only bought it cause it was the only one available at the time. The soft rubber feeling sucks, Its comes lose when I pull it out of my pocket. I'm using it for now, while I wait for a TPU case to come in the mail. TPU is 100 times better then silicone. This is the case I'm waiting on http://www.ebay.com/itm/26103187214...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_1780wt_1154

The two links I just posted are for tpu cases. My original link was for silicone. I like the silicone one so far. No problems with it slipping off when taking it out of my pocket.
I saw the one in your link but I decided against it because I don't like the fact that the camera button and volume buttons are exposed. I like having them covered by the silicone/tpu.
Update: Got the 2 TPU cases in the mail. I hate them. The fit it way too tight. Its really a struggle just to get them on and off. They also ruined my screen protector because it caught the corner of it while putting the case on.
I will say however that once the case is on it has a very nice feel to it and it adds nearly zero bulk to the phone. Its a very tight fit and all of the buttons work perfectly with no problems. Being that im mainly going to be taking these on and off very frequently its not as convenient as just slipping the silicone case on.
Just put in the order for $21 change....
i know i will not be happy with the case....really looking forward some good clear bumpers.....
the only problem is how do you make such a big ass phone less bulky....
and if you are going to add bulk...how to make it look classy?

Ordered Bounce and Ultra-Crystal also. Only brand name case I could get before phone arrives.
Anyone have past experience with Bounce models?
I love the ultra-Crystal and Ultra-oleophobic from Spigen. Have used on all my phones since Captivate.
ยข via my interim device KFHD
I also ordered the Bounce case (it shipped today) and the crystal screen protectors. The Bounce case looked to be the best combination of value, looks, light weight, and protection. I'll report back on their performance once I've got everything (The screen protectors are the only item I've gotten so far)
I wonder how the buttons will work. I hope that the "feeling: that you are pressing the button remains..

My wife has a TPU for her HTC one and access to the buttons suck!
the bounce looks like a very light weight skin....no additional protection except the fact that it will help avoid getting your phone dinged!
I'm sure once the phone is officially out we'll be getting better cases...patience is not a virtue
OP, if you're looking at Spigen, I like the looks of this one...
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DCIZJEY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2SFKRF5TPZMT5
Looks a little more classy than the one you linked (in my opinion)
Bah, they dropped the prices on the neo hybrid by $10. I'd have considered it at that price Oh well, the Bounce looks great. I'll know in a few days for sure
Spigen is really all over the road on their pricing. First the $1 promo on select items, then they jumped to $29.99, then $34.99, now down to $24.99 its fine to lower the price but they better fix the ones they charged and haven't shipped and perhaps fix those that just shipped as well. It would be good for customer relations.

I would encourage you to make it known via email to them, and get a refund on the difference, clearly someone is messing it up and its going to cost them sales.

Finally on their FB page they are saying if you want one to let them know. They are gauging interest, that what I read in the thread/poll about that case. Since they cannot commit to one I am looking at this instead http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=CSF2SSGT3K-DG Sedio Ledger with metal kickstand. Has magnetic closure and big S-View window. The price is right, I just wish they offered some better color options, but I might get the red/grey combo for some flash.

This looks phenomenal. Just wish it was a bit cheaper. For those who have used flip covers in the past how do you feel about them compared to regular cases? I just ordered the neo hybrid as my first note 3 case and currently have a Seidio active on my note 2 which I like(although it's a bit bulky). But I'm thinking about trying the above Seidio Ledger case when it is released. My biggest concern is it becoming a nuisance with the extra flap hanging around, especially when taking pictures or attempting to use with one hand. Thoughts? Experiences?
I had the Slim Armor View on the GS4 and I didn't find it intrusive at all, I simply flipped the cover back and used the phone as if it wasn't there. The Ledge from Seidio looks to be the same. Obviously when using the camera you won't want the cover folded back even if it does line up, the extra plastic in between the image and the lens will likely cause for crappy images.
Still its a small price to pay for full protection and a view window.

I got two SPIGEN Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Case Protective Slim Fit Dual Protection Cover for Galaxy Note III below for $2 lol I thought it wa a accident as they were priced so low. Then they went up to 24.99! I should of bought 10 lol

Received the Bounce from Spigen the other day and without phone inside it fits my Seidio Active holster from the Note 2 very well. The top half of the holster that the screen faces doesn't appear to be wide enough to protect it edge to edge, but sold my Note 2 on 8/31 so I cannot compare.
Yes, I am one of those that uses a holster. At work only though.
I am 6' 3" and 240lbs so I tell myself it doesn't look as obvious, but my wife and kids say otherwise

Seidio should have the Surface and holser friday . Have a couple hybrid Spigens now but I need my surface case and holster. I just don't want to pay the initial price. They will be half price in 6 months.
