So I did a search on the forum and I still can't find a solution. I can stream videos on youtube without a problem. But when I try to play a video that I have uploaded onto my account on my account page, I get a "connection failed. please try again" error message. Other than that, everything is okay. Can somebody please help?
TP2, WM6.5, NRG ROM sept. 4.
I have also received this message. I can get on to the YouTube site but when I click on the latest video I uploaded, I get the "Connection failed. Please try again" message. I can click on other videos and watch them fine.
I don't know if it's a format issue (it was recorded in HD but YouTube should convert it) or what? I can view the video on my computer so I know it is uploaded. Anyone able to help????
I'm going crazy here!!!!!!
A few days ago I flashed to the Cell Evo rom and it works. Then I flashed back to NRG rom and and tried it again and it didn't work. So apparently for me it has to do with the rom.
I am using a normal Windows 6.1 ROM (HTC Touch Cruise), so there is no youtube app. When using the mobile website I can only load videos using my phone connection. It just ignores an available WLAN connection, which should usually be faster. Any ideas for a solution?
Please use ROM thread to ask ROM specific q.s
On that note thread closed.

I used Revolutionary last night to get S-OFF, install Clockwork, and root. When I reinstalled Netflix and tried to log in I get the error, "Please sign in again. You have been signed out because your account information changed." I can log into the website with no problem, changed my password, reinstalled Netflix on my EVO, but still can't log in. Has anyone had a problem like this?

yeah i got that error before but it was because i was inputing the wrong PSWD....if i were u i would delete the current app, reboot, download from the market and try again....i dont think REV would cause any quirks with netflix....just tetsed mine and iut works fine...good lcuk
Mine is working fine. No errors
I'm rooted and signed into netflix fine. Just played a movie.
I'm good now. Even after changing my password and reinstalling Netflix from the Market I still had the problem. But I tried again a couple hours later and it worked just fine. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the 1080p NetflixONE version and it worked like a charm.
Hi hope somebody can help here, acquired this phone yesterday (used) put sim in works fine makes and receives calls no problem, connects to the net via browser sometimes no problem , when tethering with either wifi or usb connection lasts for a few mins then loses connectivity but browsing on the phone browser works fine (Icon still shows data connected arrows-- signal blue), sometimes the browser loses it too but only when trying to go to links from google search, if i scroll though the pages of search results via google it open up the next page of results WTF !!!! I have tried bluetooth and many different tethering apps all with same result, I tried to update rom but verification failed even with a force flash, cannot flash recovery as it asks for blaze drivers, tried standard adb driver but device not found when trying adb-devices , its running B021 Vodafone uk rom kernel version 3.08-00004, any ideas Im about to give up and take it back HELP !!
Update, I have managed to install clockwork by installing linux dual boot, think I will keep it too, now running jellybean, now just need to port some Roms ! also I think xda should give this phone is own section , finding anything on xda for it is nightmare !
Hello All,
I have an old Samsung I-997 Infuse, running 2.2 Froyo, and rooted.
After installing the latest YouTube version, my YouTube no longer works...I'm guessing because of an incompatibility with the old Froyo version. When I try to view any YouTube, from the app. or even from the web, I get a simple announcement which states "An Error Occurred"
I've tried the normal uninstall, reinstall...which has not helped
Anybody else had this problem?
Is there a way to install an older version of YouTube?
Thanks for the help!
Anybody know where I can download an older version of You Tube apk?
Thanks...still cant get my youtube working
I think it's an issue in a lot of tablets... Youtube is unable to play videos and give an error message... You just need to reset Youtube in your tablet to factory default.
actually, it's a phone...Don't really want to unroot and take it back to stock. I did find a website with lots of older versions of .apk's, I just dont know how to get them on my phone once I download them from my computer
Hello everyone. I have a samsung galaxy s7 edge (SM G935F) and i recently received the android 8.0.0 from samsung. Downloaded and installed directly via the cellphone.
But after updating i am getting this internet/connection drop issues a lot.
Now a lot of times when im connected in wifi or using the 4g mobile internet, im getting a lot of internet lag/drops. Example: at whatsapp, when i sens a message, the clock appears and only after a little rhe time the message is send.
Example 2: at facebook, somerimes it lags and takes too long to load the content (same happening in instagram). Or at clash of clans, it is showing that symbol of internet issue.
Besides those internet bugs/lags, the android 8.0.0 is ok.
I already did a factory reset yesterday via the phone, and saved the files with smart switch. But the problem persists. I also checked and my wifi internet and my mobile internet are ok.
Does anyone knows how to fix this issue? Is there a newer version of the ROM, maybe? Or if not, is ir possible to downgrade to android 7 again (really wouldnt like this option but....)?
If anyone could help that would be great. But for the record:im really newbie at android stuffs....if you can help, please could you explain step by step?
Thanks everyone

I have the same phone but in my region the OTA 8.0 upgrade didn't arrive yet so I took a french official 8.0 for SM-G935F and installed it. After about one week I can tell it works like a charm and even better than before with the Marshmallow firmware. I don't see a solution with your specific connection problem but I can try to find and bring you the OS that I downloaded and used if you want.

NO, i can't seem to remember where i downloaded the firmware from, but I am sure it wasn't from Sammobile because it take ages to download. But I still have it on my laptop so I'm uploading the .rar on mediafire.
All you have to do:
Get Odin
Get the ROM (extract it separately, you should see the AP, BL, CP, CSC components)
Cause I am a new user on the forum it doesn't allow me to post external links so let's get around that:
type in w w w. mediafire . com /file / tx3676bj71vz17f/G935FXXU2ERD5_G935FOXA2ERD5_BTU.zip (copy paste and remove all the spaces)
Activate USB debugging (google that, you can get it in 30 secs)
press and hold power+home_button+volum_down then press volume_up when it asks you to confirm that you know what you're doing.
Open Odin, you should see that your phone is recognized (in the top left rectangle it shows COM something.
Add the AP, BL, CP and CSC from the folder to Odin by pressing the specific buttons and then selecting them, wait between them if necessary, it will tell you.
Make sure re partition is not ticked in the options tab.
after everytihng is ready, click start and wait some time.
When it is done you should see PASS in green and your phone restarting.\
From there you just have to configure your new OS. Bare in mind that you should know the google acc and password that you had on the phone before, else it will get FRP locked.
Hope this helps, If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Hi everyone,
I have a tablet sm-t113. it only has access to WiFi that has excellent strength. The herald Sun app keeps crashing. It has 2 different errors; depending on the version I use. If I use the origional version the error is "No internet connection please connect to a network and try again". If I use the Beta update version the error message is "Unfortunately the app has stopped working".
I have contacted The Herald Sun on a few occasions without success. They did say that my device, which is running 4.4.4 KitKat is compatible with their software. All my other apps requiring internet access run flawlessly. When I received the tablet from the Herald Sun it was working fine.
This is a link to two logcat reports: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xfipxos73l13alm/AACdBjALoc9q0PNdY5ff2iyma?dl=0
I would be great if someone could help.
Thanks in advance.Peter
