Has anyone got the htc ereader and htcappointment.exe working correctly. I have not been able to find an ereader version that does not stop the time pickers in htcappointment.exe

Hey Guys! I am using the EzHero 5.1 (Android 2.1 Eclair) and I am wondering that HTC Sync doesn't find my phone. What do I have to do, to make it work? Or ist it impossible?

HTC Sync is HTC special software, and as such is only available in the Sense ROMs.
I too use HTC Sync a lot, and that is why I have not been able to move to Froyo: there are no 2.2 ROMs with Sense for Hero :-(
As for you case (Eclair) you will easily find another Sense ROM (VillainROM for example) and that will support HTC Sync
I have investigated how to get HTC sync to run on non-HTC ROMs, but so far, not managed (if anyone knows how to please let us know...)

Okay thX! Means that I have to change the ROM. Or is there any other program like HTC Sync that supports the Hero? That would be great! I don't want to flash again... ;-)
Why do you need HTC Sense - that's what i'm wondering. You can do most of it just be file transfers. Contacts is another issue but converting them to gmail contacts isn't difficult IMO. Also programs such as Songbird and other media management tools should recognize the devise.

It's a great program, but for some reason it won't install on my Archos, I have it running on my HTC desire.
I can see it in market and and the light version installs no problem but I have passed the limits of this and need to install the pro version. I spoke to the developer and he said that it is Market stopping it from installing on my devise.
Does that sound correct?
Does anyone know a work around?

I would like to ask if there is a way to enable the notifications tab in the Friend stream on Wildfire? I saw on htc site in the how tos section that the Friend stream does have the notifications tab (the Bell icon), but I don't have it on my Wildfire. Thus I'm curious if there is a way to somehow enable it?

Hi, i was looking for that too but so far i didnt find the answer i guess this option is available on new fs so for now on i advice to check e-mail notification @fb site then when something is goin on @fb u will get e-mail push notification.

It does appear friend stream has been updated in newer phones. I bet/hope roms (I use Magnolia 1.3.2) will bake this newer app into the framework. It will make it very easy!
I installed a new ROM on my New Unlocked T-Mobile HTC HD2 and I installed a medical application called UpToDate which worked fine on other HTC HD2 devices but on mine the application worked and when I am searching for one medical subject and opening it the application gives me a white page with No DATA!!

Hi I have htc evo 3d that has been rotted but looking on here that lollipop does not work and my android is old and out dated so I need new os. The software that I use is Facebook messenger and Skype are the only two that I need to working 100% as well as text and phone call.
