I'm using a custom ROM (mirom6) and I'd like to have those soft keys send/call and hangup (green and red telephone receiver icon) in the lower area next to my windows soft keys as they were in my original ROM...
is there a cab or anything to add that?

No.
Sorrily this is the price you have to pay when you upgrade to WM6.5.X
if you want them you have to flash the 6.5 or 6.1 rom

Hi all,
Does anybody know how to change the windows and ok key with WM6? In WM6 it is not possible to change the features for these keys. There is a program Neotap, that allows, but it includes more modifications, it changes the red button. Anybody knows how is working that program or what we need to change to allow these key modification in the
Prophet 4.0.0.0.3 PDAViet rom?

The program it is quite nice, but i do not like due to the hang up button (red button) it has change the fucntionality.
The key think it is know what this program is doing in the WM6 just to be able to changed the key configuration as you like.
Does anybody know how to do it?

Besides, it makes unusable volume switch..
Instead turning sound it scrolls for example files list or .. menu.
NeoTab is a solution for WinMenu and OK buttons, but leads in other problems

if there where any feedback i could optimze it for the comunity ;-)
on iexplorer fileexplorer and gsfinder and so on it scrolls
on desktop phone and tcpmp and mortplayer it change the volume ;-)

You're talking about the button between "OK" and the "right soft key" on the keyboard? Interesting you bring that up, mine has never worked for anything.

Wow!, never knew there was a luminosity (backlight) key !, I've only had my device a year
On mine, it toggles it from full brightness to minimum brightness, I'm using WM6.1 and it works fine
mine never worked until i got wm6.1 lol
Mine worked with the official ROM, never with cooked ROM

Original 7501 rom here.
Original spanish WM5 ROM and backlight key is not working... as a matter of fact never did it.
hello everyone , i bought startrek yesterday and i flashed it to wm 6.1 . but i have a problem with it , when i have a miss call or a text messages , led wont flashlight in amber , but when the BT is turn on other led gets blue.
i could not find any setting for led activation , am i wrong or something else must happen ?

The StrTrk's LED's will light in following sheme:
-green flashlight for GSM active
-orange light for akku down or akku charging
-blue flashlight for BT on
There are some tools that will stop green flashing light. One of this is Softimage Don'tForget. With this it is possible to control the green light. You can make flashing slower or turn it of and activate green light flashing for messages or missed calls.

Other Tools are known as Modaco.com Toggle-LED available ad modaco.com. For StrTrk you need Type 1. But Toggle-LED does only toogle off green flashing, no notification...

yeah, i also had a problem when i first got my TG01, the taskbar didn't show the blutooth icon.
But somehow after i hard reseted, i got the bluetooth icon on taskbar when it was on...

In spb shell you can add bluetooth widget on your layout.
In wm settings/today/elements tick wireless.

Yeah, min does. when bt on - it shows blue bluetooth icon.
when bt on + discoverable mode, red blutooth icon

It is not any extra software... When your BT is on, it is already showing in taskbar...

same rom here, ghetto one with call quality fix... try hard reset perhaps? if u really need it bad.

I had several HR but I nEVER saw this BT icon...I do not think a HR will help here...I thought you changed something in the registry...
well thank you anyway for your input, I guess it is another bug hopefully fixed soon

I have this problem too. The BT icon've never shown on taskbar. After I installed this cab and soft-reset, BT icon is appeared now but it doesn't change to headset icon when headset is connected. Anyway, it's better than nothing, isn't it??

I think the cause of this problem may be the lost of BT icon file in WM system.
The BT icon with headset detected icon may appear again after we apply any task bar skin (but make sure that it contains all needed BT skins too).
I haven't tried that skin yet. I will try tonight so if you've already tested it please tell me .

no, the cab does not work for me...BT icon did not appear
I am using one of the Dark Ninja's task bar skin
UPDATE: I have uninstalled the skin and reinstalled the cab. it did not show again.
but then I made a soft reset and it works!!!
so maybe it would work with the DN skin too, but make sure you make a SR after install

I have cooked a rom with some parts on 1.66 and 3.04 hd2 rom.
I have a problem, my dialpad ( htc phonecanvas) don't function when a call is in progress !
I need to use the hardware key in order to hangup.
I have tried different hd2 phoneCanvas, and the problem is the same, so this problem comes from an other package.
Have you an idea ?

If your using BSB Tweaks and have the decrease screen sensitivity or Tap Time tweaks enabled then turn them off one by one and test the keypad...........
If not then I dunno.... Sorry........
