Hi all.
I recently bought my gs2 i9100.
I added my main gmail account to the phone & another empty,newly created account.
When I synced both accounts with the phone, all my phone contacts were copied to my newly created gmail account. But all my previous contacts from my main gmail account were deleted.
What did I do wrong?
Is there any way to restore them?

Apparently, there's an option to restore contacts in gmail
In gmail:
Contacts>Restore Contacts

I need help to sync Outllok with Atrix.
Can anyone recommend a program or software? The Objective is to sync my tasks, calander and contacts (with pictures) to Gmail , so for the first time at least I need to move the data to the phone. From the phone it will most likly sync to gmail.
If I export CSV to Gmail the pictures will not upload.
Any Ideas?

Could anybody say what is happening with the GMail account. I have my contacts in Outlook and synced them with my phone, then added the gmail account. After deleting gmail account from accounts in settings all my contacts are gone. What the ...???
A also noticed that when I have an existing gmail account I cannot set individual ringtone to a contact. When it's gone everything works. Anyway I don't want this gmail to sync everything, especially my contacts. Does anybody know why the hell on earth this crap is going on? Why can't I just use my contacts without gmail sync and other strange effects.

Yes happened with me too.
Totally idiotic.
And the worst part?
When I synced back the Google account... The contacts didn't come back properly.
All messed up and duplicates.
Idiotic.
Luckily I had taken a backup few days back and deleted all contacts and restored the backup.
I have totally disabled my contacts sync up with Google.

The only way that helped me is to sync my contacts with my outlook without creating gmail account, then set up all personal contact ringtones and only after that create gmail account in the phone without sync options.
I have a lot of contacts in my phonebook, and some belong to my Google account, and some are stored in my phone.
How could I change these contacts to be in Google too? I want them syncronized

Try synchronizing your Google account. Export all contacts to Google account, so all will be sync instantly. Try installing truecaller, it will merge contacts with photos
Hi,
i´am using the Stock E-Mail App.
Is it possible to change a working POP3 Account into IMAP without loosing all Mails?
With Titanium Backup i can save all Mails, but after the recovery (only Data) into an IMAP Account the IMAP Account was changed into a POP3! :crying:
Please help.

Another Way is to save the Mail localy, but i can´t import it into the new Mail-Account (Stock App)
