[Q] Looking for original Vodafone ROM - XPERIA X10 Android Development

Hi there,
I need to install the original ROM on my phone, like it came from the factory. I got it from Vodafone.
Any help would be appreciated

I hope I've got the right files here as I've got quite a few from when I was changing firmware
Anyway, I've uploaded the SEUS files here. You'll have to follow this method I believe.
Hope it helps - please let me know how you get on.

I unrooted and unlagfixed my phone tonight before I applied the official Sansung OTA update for my Vibrant. After I applied the update, MY PHONE SOFTBRICKED.
I downloaded Odin but I can't find the stock firmware... anywhere. I found links here that had links to the firmware but they were both bad links. I really wanna get this phone up and running again...
I don't know how to use Odin and I don't have the firmware to restore the device... could someone PLEEEEEEEEASE help me? I appreciate it in advance...

Going from ASOP 2.2.1 back to Rogers Branded 2.1

Hello,
I hope everyone is doing well. I am currently trying to load the old stock rogers firmware onto my phone for warranty purposes.
I have looked around on the board, used the search function and i cant seem to find the Rogers Branded rom and how i can flash back to it (If this is possible.)
Currently i have baseband 2.1.54 and i am wondering if this would also cause an issue going back.
If someone could please help me i would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Chris.

if the links in Intratechs thread are down your best bet is to wait till he updates his links my friend either that or try SamFirmware

BTW you can flash any of the Vodafone Australia firmware and they will have to accept it back since it's a software update from the manufacturer approved by them. It doesn't have the be the original firmware that came with the phone.
Thanks, I do have dukj1 on the phone, the one supplyied here but when I went into kies it said it wouldn't beable to offer any updates. I know it the most recent one, but didn't want vodafone to have any reason to not cancel my contract.
thanks for the link

[Q] How to go back to the Source/Original Android Version? For X10MPro

Hey people.
I wanted to know: is there a way to know what was the firmware/android version that came with the phone when i bought it?
Because i already change from 2.1.1.0.A.6 to 2.1.1.C.0.0 and vice-versa and now my firmware is not the original one anymore :S, I'm from Portugal and i don't know what was the Official Firmware/Android Version that came with the phone when i bought it, i want to installed it back to my phone so i can have my phone Original again without having different firmware. And if that is possible, where can i download it?.
I'll give 'Thanks' to good answers.
Cheers :good:

It came with 1.6 when SonyEricsson brought it out, and they provided updates to 2.1, with 2.1.1.C.0.0 being the last one they provided for the x10mini pro. So if you've got that firmware, your phone is still considered original, if that update was available in your region.
If your phone was locked to a specific provider, with their provider specific software (bloatware) installed, you won't be able to get it back to how it was when you bought it.
If you want to make sure you have the last original firmware for your phone for your region, do a repair with PC-Companion or SEUS. And if you had your bootloader unlocked, use S1Tool's restore function to lock it again afterwards. More original than that is impossible.
Now there's another problem, i don't know where i can download a firmware for the Portugal region, the greek firmware works but it has the keyboard problem 'buttons รง and ," that GB roms also have, so i would need to root the phone to fix that.
So there's no way to get the original firmware back :S.
Yes i can always repair with that but...if the firmware is the wrong one 'brazilian firmware for example' then those programs can't find the firmware for the repair.
I hope i never need to repair my phone and that i can stick with the GB roms, they're so much better than original eclair.
Cheers :good:
