Best Messengerapp

whats the best messenger app? for msn mesenger and for facebook chat?
I use ebuddy, you can sign in to multiple accounts at once and the FB chat is really good. Plus it is free in the market.

Indeed! Until then, I agree with eBuddy. Definitely better than the 2nd best, Meebo.
Ebuddy until trillian comes out. Meebo keeps disconnecting.

Trillian beta has been great with frequent updates
i used to use nimbuzz, which could use pretty much everything, but now that skype support is gone i think i dont want to use the space it takes for it..
currently using trillian beta and looking for a skype replacement (official app is too big and sucks). any suggestions?

have some of you got push e-mail to work with mini/pro
still love the latest version of Nimbuzz. Just swype to move from different chat windows.
sadly it doesn't support skype and chatroom just like for other phones.

Any good IM APP around?

Hey there,
I´m trying to find a good IM app, so far I tried eBuddy and Trillian, but both leave me connected even when I choose to disconnect; Mercury Messenger keeps reconnecting from time to time.
So, any ideas? Does not need to be multiprotocol, I use msn most.
Thanks in advance!
Try IM+ (paid) or imo: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.imo.android.imoimbeta&feature=search_result
There's always Trillian

sorry, i didn't see you tried it, but settings should have a disconnect upon sleep or after a certain amount of time if i remember correctly. It disconnects when I want it to, so i dunno?

I've used:
Palringo, eBuddy, Trillian, Bejive, and Meebo. So far, the best client I've used has been imo hands down. It's free, here's a link, try it out: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.imo.android.imoim

I prefer Dolca HD personally. I use MSN, gtalk, and aim on it and it works brilliantly for me.

Best part is that it is fully optimized for tablets.

Here it is.. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6YIASVSU
Download and install and you're up and running.
It's really work on arc? Because when I see on the market, it says incompatible.

It does work, but tbh it's crap.

I did try it but wasn't able to sign in.
I think I'll stick to using eBuddy or the default Facebook app.
Works fine - and really well for me.. much better than anything else I've used for "chat" on facebook..

[Q] a messenger application with encryption?

anybody knows about a messenger app that encrypts
both messages on device and communication?
will pay for it if not free.
edit: none of the big ones (whatsapp, kakao, kik) mention in their FAQ
if they encrypt messages (both storage and communication) :[
This sounds like what you want.
