does anybody know when it wil be sim unlock like on other htc devices?
i`m sick sheet codes.
anybody???
come on guys
there is no chance that no tender
share it with humanity
you must either get the original provider to give you the unlock code, or go to one of the various unlocking sites and give them your imei # and hope their code works
goodluck
Could you be more precise as to what you mean?
If you are talking about sim-lock: You will need to aask your network provider.
If you are talking about cid-lock: Use HSPL
I do not unserstand what you mean with "sheet codes" (I think you mean cheat codes, but how that relates to a locking problem, i cannot imagine)
I am sorry (No insult intended), but your english is so bad people probably do not understand what you mean.

You need to BUY an unlock code sorry. ... and No,... No free methods that I know of.
There are lots of websites around, I have never used one though.
I use a £3 turbo sim, works brilliantly, lets me use my O2-UK SIM in my Orange network locked handset with no problems.

No problems.
1st thing I would do is get AmonRa's custom recovery installed. Then you will be able to change ROMs when ever you want.
Follow BTDAG's guide in my signature, read the whole thing through including the FAQ at the bottom,... then start playing!!!!

Yeah its locked to Orange. A turbosim is something that you stick to your own simcard, it then tricks the phone into thinking its using the network it was intended for. I got mine from good 'ol ebay.
Search for turbo sim or rebel sim
To Unlock it from Network Lock, you can use the Unlock code.............To get the Unlock code you can reach the site Onlinegsmunlock.com and get the code and Unlock it...Then You can use with any GSM Network Sim card....
My phone was locked to t-mobile, and i needed it unlocked...
Went to a local service, i payed 12 euros for unlocking (not with codes) ...
I not sure how those guys unlocked it, but i know they used a jtag and maybe used a hboot that obviously skips the "locking" security Don't know for sure (they didn't disassembled the phone for soldering pins and stuff the screws are still with the "void" sticker)
You can get an unlock code for a reasonable price at this site:
simunlocks . com
HTC uses database with codes, so there is no miss and hit.
Thanks
Hi all, I am really new to this forum.
First of all I would like to apologize if this is a double post.
Can some one please help me unlock the X10 from at&t.
I would always unlock att phones by calling their costumer service but they were not able to generate or give me the key to my X10 for some reason. I wonder if there is another way to unlock the phone so i can use sim frm other carriers.
I'm interested as well =)
Is there a free way to unlock phone from AT&T ?
Firstly, the search function at the top works wonders guys, this is one of the most widely posted issues.
There are two solutions I see frequently:
website htccode.com
user lancez on this forum
as i mentioned earlier im a noob in this forum. I could not find anything with the search function either. Could you please elaborate on the user lancer you mentioned.

Don't take No for an answer from AT&T. By law, at least in the USA, AT&T has to give you the unlock code 90 days into your contract. Just gotta ask for it.... so they say anyway. Try taking it in to the store. The other ways, like Lance, cost $30+. AT&T should be FREE!

With a custom ROM you have UNBRANDED the phone but not unlocked it. Unlocking it means that you can put any SIM card into it so that if you travel to the EU or other GSM areas you can get a local SIM card much cheaper than an international plan for ATT.
It also doesn't mean that suddenly you have new wireless frequencies either, so if you put in a T-Mobile sim card you won't get their 3G/H or any EU 3G/H.
Some people have reported that your phone will show ROAM when on ATT after unlocking but this shouldn't be a problem as you are a ATT contract holder.
Don't worry i will help you to Unlock Your Sony Ericsson Phones from Network Lock,You can use the Unlock Code to unlock it from Network lock,But you can get the code from Online site...You can get the Unlock code from the site www.simpleunlocking.com and Unlock it......They get the code from Network Data base and provide to you.
for codes you can contact your service provider or can get it from online providers
Hello i want to ask if there is any guide how to unlock this phone to all GSM networks. I am O2 and want to buy phone from T-mobile from my friend, but T-mobile lock their phones. I was searching for some guide, but i found just bootloader unlocking and i dont know if it is the same because i dont understand these things much.
Maybe here is a thread about this, i dont know. If yes, just give me a link and this thread can be deleted in order to dont spam forum.
You can't do it without getting an unlock code from T-Mobile.

Hi, There is no guide but you can instructions on unlocking a phone, there are a lot of methods available so for. I always suggest, for the unlocking, contacting our telecom service provider is the one of the ways to get the unlocking code or contacting service provider like theunlockspot.com might be an another way to get an unlocking code. The direct unlocking codes can be received in those two ways I mentioned. Thanks.
Hello. I want to buy Nokia Lumia 800 and I find one very cheap but phone is locked with Orange or O2. Maybe if I flash a custom rom it will be unlocked ? or no ? Please help me and sorry for my bad english
Flashing different firmware will not remove SIM lock. There are plenty of unlocking services that will do it for the price. Just google it.

If you're dealing with a reputable outfit, yes. Make sure you secure form of payment, like credit card or PayPal.

only way your going to remove the sim unlock is by contacting the operator the phone is locked to, unless you have a lumia with a unlocked bootloader qualcomm version
rob
if you have a rooted phone
if you have a rooted phone you can try this

already tried it and it works, right at your own risk and be on hand another microsim from a different operator you needed
sorry my english is bad :good:

Last few days I've been reading and searching the forum up and down, to find some useful info about how to bypass network lock.... so far I'm even more confused than I was before.
The problem: my phone is locked to specific network and doesn't work with sim card from another provider. Is it possible to unlock it so I can use it on other networks?
Is it solvable? Does rooting help?
I've read a few threads about s-off, is that the thing I need ?
Thanks to the guys willing to help.
This might help?

Usually you can call your network provider and get an unlock code. Root and s off not related. S off not possible at the moment anyways.

They don't want to help me, because they want to force me to use their network sim while im out of my county, but roaming is way too expensive and cant afford it atm
Just ask around your area where you live and you'll find someone to sim unlock your phone (if not then try local market) or you could even buy the unlock code and do it yourself

guys, buying code is probably the last thing I'll do...
First of all I'm new in android but I'm curious more than enough, and I want to learn things... It would be great if senior or more experienced members share their thoughts on what's right and what's wrong and eventually save me a lot of time and nerves. It's funny how there are so few threads about unlocking network ? Perhaps because it's the fastest way to make good money for some ppl ?
I do have experience in maintenance of Linux systems, but I have no previous experience in rooting/unlocking or what so ever related to smart phones.
So ..... It would be great if any senior/experienced members shared their knowledge/experience on this subject (how to unlock phone so it can be used on different providers.)
As far as I can see Hasoon2000 AIO kit makes rooting as simple as it can get.... but will that remove network lock? I don't need to install any other access privileged apps, demanding games.....
ahhhhmmm..... :

Rooting doesn't SIM unlock the phone. It's not related to it at all.

I already told you that. There are tools for other devices, but not ours. The network should give the code, follow up with them, otherwise buy a code.

Fracking network provider. They say they will void any warranty if I use any unlocking code.... this is turning into nightmare.....
This is the last time I'll put my signature on any of their papers for sure....
Anyway frack them, any one can suggest me good, working online unlocking service that really works?
I think someone unlocked successfully using unlock-now.net

You can get the S58Data cleared via JTAG, that means your phone should be sim/network unlocked.
But you have to find some shop/person to have such a JTAG box...

It's Unlocked as you suggested, every thing works as it should. Thank you very much Sir!
btw. For all sin souls who bought phone from !!! carrier - VIP country - Macedonia !!!, avoid buying codes online, they are wrong, VIP operator has replaced original HTC codes with their own codes, which you can't have (they won't give them to you) ....
Thanks to all other guys for suggestions.
Glad you got it sorted out
