There are a lot of emulators on the market. As far as I was able to try, most of them run really good on the mini, except you can't quite control the games one touch at a time.
The mini has a multitouch capable panel, although Sony hasn't and will not enable it.
My question is if there is any gamepad that will work on the mini, while the xda community doesn't come up with a way to enable the multitouch on our devices
Cheers
You could give this a try:

(Using a Wiimote) - reported to work on the X10, so I don't see why it wouldn't work on an X10mini
Thanks a lot! That was really helpful!
Unfortunately I don't have a wiimote now to try this, I'll borrow one and give it a try.
I'll get back here once I do.
Thanks again!
It works flawlessly!
Thanks again for the tip!

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but I forgot to send the message last time when it was fresh!!
There is an app on the market that allows you to use the ps3 controller via bluetooth, it works very well indeed. The only problem is configuring games to run with this, but I think you can map hardware and soft keys to the gamepad to make a more complete experience. Emulators have been working flawlessly.
The only problem with this solution is that the X10 mini is so tiny that positioning it to play can be annoying, also, battery drain is quite high and the gamepad is bigger then the phone!!
Hope this helps, I'll try to dig up the app name, It's a paid app, but I believe at the time it was 1 dollar!!

Wondering if anyone has GTA 3 and can comment on the gameplay?
I also heard the oldschool cheat codes will work on this version, but only with the adition of a keyboard ... does the keyboard dock work for this?
Gameplay is super smooth, all effects are turned on. Connecting an Xbox controller is also supported by GTA 3 with no setup required.
Haven't tried any cheats, but the keyboard arrows work, if that helps.
Love it. a blast!!!
The game is amazing! Never played it on the PC before but I have been told that everything's original (which is a god thing). You can go from mission to mission or also just drive around which is incredibly fun as well.
Perfect scenario for me: playing it on the Transformer with keyboard (+ mouse), works great and it a lot more comfortable that using the on screen controls. Most cheats from the PC also work and - although I haven't tried it- even patches work by changing files in the data folder. I just have one patch applied that improves the graphics overall (colours and details).
There's no sound for me, I assumed it was like that for everyone?
Otherwise it runs well, definitely recommend it but the lack of sound is a bummer.

Mine is smooth as butter.
Ran the GTA3 Full Effects Fix and added the Audio folder into the GTA folder.
Now I have rain, higher resolution, and other effects. Sound is enabled which allows me to switch radio stations in-game.
No lag.
I followed this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1400756
Hope this helps

How do you want to enter cheats/ text without a keyboard attached? Or do you just mean the Transformer Dock? I use a Logitech keyboard and cheats work (at least most).

Sad to hear... Did you try both the keyboard mapping and touch emulation?
(I haven't gotten the touch emulation to work with any program)
I didn't try to do the keyboard yet. I will try it later tonight.

Hello, this is my first post here.
I am new/noob to Android/Mobile devices, i have a Transformer Prime-LOVE IT!!!
I was a lucky one and had very few problems with mine.
I did have a GPS and low WIFI problems, but i did the "Pinch" along the edges and it got my GPS working fine and it doubled my WIFI speeds.
I bought a Sony Blu Ray player (model #BDP-S580) and hooked it up (Samsung 50" Plasma) and all is running fine.
On the box it said use "Media Remote" app for a remote control.
So i went to the app market to download it, but it said it wasn't compatible with my Transformer Prime.
Question-Is there a app that i can use to use my Prime as a remote control?
Thanx

Hi guys. Sorry, I'm a little new to this site and I didn't find my device, which is Sony Xperia Pro (MK16i), so hope it's OK that I put it in here.
I'm searching for an app where you can use the qwerty keyboard on the phone (MK16i) as a game controller on PC.
So far I have found apps where you can only use the touch screen, but not the keyboard.
Have tried "AGamePad", "All In One" and "PConWeb" just to mention some apps that didn't work.
If anyone have found an app which work with qwerty on Xperia Pro, please tell me
A friend of mine is working on a framework called UniWand (http<colon><slash><slash>uniwand<dot>info) that enable to use smartphone as a controller for web apps / online games, wherein HTML-JS is used to create and host the controller. Subscribing there might help.
Try monect! It works great for me! It has several features which include using your phone as a game controller. You will definitely find it fascinating

Hi, I've been trying for like five straight days to figure out a method to get the WiiU Pro Controller to work with my HTC One and I've had no luck. The problem is that I need a pin to enter on my phone to pair it when in reality you don't and that's the problem. I can't find a way to bypass not entering a key. I've tried everything and have failed, I'd pay to see someone to get this to work and I think this could be the place. Any help?
Same here. I am looking and will report back if I find something

Anybody have info on this? I have had no luck with the PS3 controller or the Wii U Pro controller and would love a solution.
I don't have any experience with the WiiU Pro controller but Android 4.2 broke Wiimote support. I am running a 4.1 ROM to use a Wiimote for games. Also I used to own an HTC device and Sense wasn't compatible with Wiimotes and I had to switch to CM to use one but that was ages ago.. Food for thought.
Hey there,
I've lately been exploring the true potential of the Wii U Pro Controller. So far I have been able to pair it with PC and utilize it flawlessly with a Steam game (Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition), so I've moved on to see it's capabilities in the android world.
I've done quite a bit of research and can confirm the only way you can possibly utilize this controller up till today is with an app that specifically claims to support it. At the moment the only known ones are any of Robert Broglia's apps. He has managed to incorporate a feature called "Scan for Wiimotes/iCP/JS1" which works like magic with the Wii U Pro Controllers. I have been able to connect 4 controllers to it just by enabling the scan and pressing the "Sync" button on each controller. Unfortunately though this doesn't actually "pair" the controllers per say, it seems like it's only a very temporary connection which disappears once you press Home button or exit the app. This limits you to only SNES/GB and the other few apps he has but hey at least it's a start.
Now moving onto the actual "pairing" side of things - I have recently downloaded a number of bluetooth manager apps and joystick input apps to experiment with, and using a combination of a few, I was able to somehow pair the controller!
[See attached, noobs aren't allowed to post URLs ]
HOWEVER - unfortunately I have tried using it with a few apps (mainly N64 ones) and it seems to be totally unresponsive. Either that or perhaps I'm not using the correct Joystick button mapping apps...
Btw I'm still using 4.1.2, during my research I've noticed a lot of people on 4.2 have been unsuccessful with most of what I've mentioned above...

Unfortunately, I dont remember
No, regardless of it being paired, there is not a single way I can use it, all four lights on the controller remain blinking (probably normal till an intended-for-use app instructs it to light only 1 LED), and whatever app I try to use it with, won't register or recognize any keypresses.

I assume your Android OS version is later than 4.1.2?
Supposedly this works, but you may need to attach a bluetooth dongle to your device (yes, even though it already has bluetooth built in):

is this the app?

This might help anybody having pairing issues. My nabi 2 has an option for ''bluetooth time out'' before changing it to ''never off'' i couldn't pair my phone. Afterwards it paired effortlessly.

what ever happened to this? i'd like to try it to stream hydro thunder to my nvidia shield but the download is gone.
..
it works. does what it says. pretty cool, thanks.
..
Thanks for this! I can only get it working in Kinoconsole. With gamestream it launches the game but the controller won't work and the sound comes out of the pc speakers. I wanted this for Hydrothunder hurricane as well. I wish I could play it at 60fps though.

I don't have a GeForce GPU, so I can't test it. A buddeh that tested it, told me it worked. Have you tested other apps?
Kinoconole emulates a 360 controller, which might be why it works. I believe it even installs the controller driver (I'm not sure if it's the default controller driver or a modified version). However, it can cause problems if you used a 360 controller, and have the proper 360 driver installed, prior to installing Kinoconsole.
Try uninstalling kinoconsole and the 360 controller driver from device manager.
Let me know if that helped.

Thanks. I already tried that but it didn't work.
FWIW, this app was what FINALLY let me launch Magic: the Gathering Online (MTGO) via Steam and have it remote play. I've tried all sorts of hacks, with moonlight, limelight, Steam Big Picture, etc. Nothing could actually get the MTGO cline to work via remote play. I used this app to search it up and launch the client, and viola, now I'm playing MTGO in my living room with a wireless mouse/trackpad.
Thank you!!!
..
Using Gamestream. Seems to work, thanks again!
great work bro... :good:
I'm trying to use this program to launch the Minecraft Windows 10 Edition app but it just seems to open itself repeatedly. I've tried a handful of names to try to get it to run mcwin10 but to no avail. Any idea what it should be named?
Could this be used to stream non game apps such as Amazon Prime Instant Video?
