So I have seen many people asking for the original stock .apk's that they have accidentally have deleted playing with Root Explorer or for whatever reason. I have pulled the whole "/system/app/" files off of my phone, but not sure if this is all of them or if they are going to work.
I am going to be posting of few up here so please let me know if they work.
Also, if you are in need of a stock .apk, please feel free to post what one/s you need.
Also, please feel free to add any stock .apk's anyone you have as well.

I have been trying to find the Vibrant's stock Alarms and Clocks apk. It doesn't seem to be included in the zip. Does anyone have any idea where I can find this?
I am currently running Eugene's vibrant6.
Thank you in advance

Note: If you are trying to re-install these on the stock rom you need the .apk and the .odex file if it has one.
Here is the link to the entire system dump that has all the stock apps:

Thank you very much. I have something to do when I get home now
Ive been trying to install memo.apk on the Vibrant6 rom and the app never shows in drawer and when I copy over the odex file. When I reboot my phone loads up gets to the Samsung S and then everything goes black, but the bottom buttons will light up luckly I can pull the battery and reload my Nandroid backup.
/system/app/
I've been using Root Explorer and Su File manager with no luck.
I'm starting to feel a bit stupid here. I at first made sure the permissions of the files where the same as the files in /system/app with no luck.

Any luck on this? I'm trying to do the same thing but the memo and the calculator but no luck.
Is it possible to install the memo.apk on an evo? I really like that application and I haven't seen anything quite as nice as it.
Anyone have the mobitv apk? I can only find the captivate version.

Woo-hoo! These provided me with immediate & long term assistance in several issues I had developed with my Vibrant. Most importantly I got my camera app back, that was an "oh s***" moment, lol.
Many thanks! =)

I tried downloading from the first links to the apps and from yours. I have both the original Musicplayer.apk and .odex files in the /sdcard/ folder but the application does not install. I'm on ASOPish 1.1 Froyo.UVJK2.
What I'm trying to get from that app is the feature it has that it enables you to listen to the call from whatever is plugged into the 1/8 jack - in this case, earphones or my aux jack in the car, which was very handy for handsfree calling on the road.

Memo.apk on Bionix V
I'm trying to get the Memo.apk to install on my Vibrant with Bionix V. Can anyone help?
EDIT: NVM I got the correct memo.apk from the Bionix V thread!
I'll post the apk below.
I've searched, and I can't figure out why when I put the tw calculator in the /system/app folder and fix permissions that the program wont show up in the app drawer or anywhere else. Can someone help me?
forgot to mention that I did have it mounted rw as well. Just as a side note, I deleted the stock ugly calc that came with Eugene's FrankinWiz and was trying to put the original TW Calc back in. No matter what I do I can't get it to show up in the app drawer, etc.
I know it's a noob question but can anyone help?
Sent from my Vibrant. Most errors courtesy of Swype.
Are you putting both the stock tw calendar .apk AND the .odex file in system/app and rebooting?
I put a step by step for replacing the stock calendar in the general sticky thread, perhaps try there?
So I need to push the odex file too? Would this work for all share and the office app as well? I'm trying to get them back into frankenwiz.
I did read your sticky post about calendar, calculator seems different.
Sent from my Vibrant. Most errors courtesy of Swype.
Ahh, just realized you said calculator, and not calendar. I know nothing of Eugene's rom, but if there is a .odex, and I asssume there is then yet, it too would need to be put in system/app
Or you could just pull deodexed apk's of the apps you want from the deodexed rom in the bible sticky in the dev section. Thats what I did for eugenes vibrant9 for allshare, works well. I haven't tried it with frankenwiz though.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
How would deodexed make it easier? Does it push the same or?
Sent from my Vibrant. Most errors courtesy of Swype.
Because eugenes roms are deodexed. I personally dont know but im sure some dev could explain, but when I try copying a odexed apk and odex file to system/app it never shows up in the app drawer, but the deodexed apk alone will. Just try it.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
Thanks for the help. I got everything into the FrankinTwiz except for allshare. I believe it's dlna.apk but pushing it doesn't put it in the app drawer.
Anyone have any luck getting allshare to work with FW?
So.
Being a new android user, I messed around with my phone without a full understanding of what would happen if i uninstalled a core application. I assumed incorrectly that Titanium Backup would allow me to reinstall applications, and then uninstalled the stock clock application thinking that it was one of the many clock widgets.
Could someone upload their stock Clock application apk here, or advise me as to how I can restore the stock clock (preferably without having to flash the original ROM)?

Here. I backup all of the apk that I want to remove. Hope this is what you want.
Is this the stock clock application, like the one used for alarms and such?
EDIT: I attempted to install ClockPackage.apk anyway by using Root explorer, and then moving the apk to /system/app and installing it from there, but it says 'Application not installed.' Am I doing something wrong?

This is for clock, alarm, stopwatch etc. Put the apk on the root of your sd card and install from there. Don have to move it to system/app.

LOL YOU DID THE SAME THING AS ME. (except no one bothered to reply to my cries for help and I had to figure out everything myself)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1070083
1)keep your clockpackage.apk in system/apps
2)download this .odex file
3)put the file in system/apps, remember to mount r/w in rootexplorer to enable pasting it in there, then mount r/o when finished
4)turn phone off.
5)turn phone on.
Mmmm, same here but I lost the weather widget due to samsung app update. Any one!

Did you add the odex file as explained above?
Yes i followed the guide as described. I have the odex and apk in system/apps folder. Funny, another clock widget im using is showing my next alarm.. but no alarmclock..
Followed the guide above, apk and odex showing in app system/app but still not available anywhere on the phone.
Anyone recommend a third party clockpackage from the market?
Used sgstools to kill my clock so used it to reinstall it to.
added a extra script,
echo "this will reverse the klok hack"
busybox cp -f /sdcard/sgstools/ClockPackage.apk /system/app/
(you might have to remove it fist if you have been messing around to get it working again)
I did the what the above guide said and could not find the app in the application menu. Help!
will reloading the stock firmware fix this issue?

I did the same thing, but when i restart my phone, the clock in not in the app drawer, when i go to TB, it is there, but with a line through it and it won't restore, all attempts to install the apk is failing too... what can i do?
The link for the odex file is down. Also, I'm trying to get this app working on CM7. Is that doable? I love CM, but a couple of the samsung apps are miles beyond what comes with Cyanogenmod - namely the clock, and the camera. I understand I can't swap the camera app, having looked into it, and I'm ok with that. The clock, however... I gotta have my samsung clock back!
Parse Error
I managed to get the ClockPackage.apk and the ClockPackage.odex from another device (running on 2.3.5 instead of 2.3.6) and now I get the following error while trying to install the apk:
"Parse Error: There is a problem parsing the package"
Does anybody know what to do?
Contacts app backup please help
hi, I recently updated my sgs2 i9100p (NFS) to ics via kies. Its orange but I unlocked now 4.0.3 with baseband ver i9100PBVLP6. an orange bloatware called 'contact backup' irritated me so I decided to uninstall it with Titanium backup. but in a hurry I uninstalled stock contact app. now there is no contact and in every 5-10 second phone freezes and error msg comes-' unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped'. Please help.
AnalogClock.apk + ClockPackage.apk seem to work together.
I used SystemApp Remover to disable ClockPackage.apk, (thought it was a bunch of unnecessary Clock widgets), but stock Clocks package stopped working. I tried enabling it, copying ClockPackage.apk, and still could not. SuperSU logs indicated that all operations succeded normally, but it simply would not work.
I thought, maybe it messed up with program data, permissions, etc., so I removed/deleted both, restarted, then simply copied .apk file for both back. Only then it worked.

There are applications that access data, and there are applications that provide that data. For example, for contacts, you could have many applications that use it (Email, Messenger, Call Logs, etc), and one application that provides it. In case if you accidentally delete data provider (in your case contacts), and if that data provider is essential to running your phone, you will ruin your phone. You might be able to restore it, but I would recommend using Odin to flash correct official firmware. Search in forum "i9100 Android Development".

U are right. I think I uninstalled contact provider, the main contact app. I tried to find solution for all day but coudn't. Tried to flash original stock rom which I have downloaded (i9001PBVLP6) but odin didn't detect my phone in downloading mode. I had to make my phone work anyhow so I flashed Wanamlite 11 with cwm which is ok but not fully functioned on my nfc version sgs2 (now I know the importance of back-up). Now I want my original stock rom back. tried with cwm but didnt work, Odin doesnt detect my phone. any help regarding flashing this stock rom, please?
Would someone be so kinda and send me their "contacts.apk" from their "/system/app" folder? I got delete happy tonight when doing a conversion from touchwiz launcher to GoEX and deleted contacts without realizing that besides showing contacts it also has system calls as well, LOL.
I can still use my phone, and using GoContacts I have a functional dialer / contact viewer, but there is a few little annoyances by not having the stock contact.apk file installed.
To get the file as long as your rooted, just browse to / system / app and you'll see the .apk
Thanks for the help
I don't think I can because I am not rooted, but I'll bump for you. Good luck
There are a few contacts.apk files in the Themes/Apps sub-forum. Damn XDA app keeps FCing on me every time I try to copy the URL so you have to look yourself, but they're there.
if you still need it have all the stock apks from my phone saved just incase this happened to me......
let me know
I don`t like at all the all black background and UI fo the TW email app so I would like to replace the email app from ICS/ JB stock ROM with the stock Google one.
How can I do it and do you have the stock apps to share?

I agree and have been looking for the mail.apk that comes with JB, im assuming you replace the original crappy Sammy one with the apk using a root explorer type app.
The black and white of the Samsung app is just not readable in my opinion; the stock JB is great
yes you can change it through root explorer or es explorer, you can find the apk of the email for ics or jb, then you have to replace also the exchange.apk as if it supports the stock android apps. make sure you fix the permissions too. I'm using stock as I hate the sammy mail
Ok i've uploaded them for you,
Make sure to backup the exchange.apk and mail.apk
use a root file explorer,
/system/app/
Place them their and make sure you fix the permissions.
thanks. are they ICS or JB?
I zipped the original ones with root explorer then deleted and pasted the new ones. but before I could set permissions my phone froze completely and I cannot do anything more now.
any advice?
They are ICS, but they are almost exactly the same as the JB,
you need to replace them after backing up, make sure that you set the permissions the same as every other apk in the system/app/ folder, after you finish everything restart your phone and it should work perfectly, if anything doesnt work perfectly, then go to recovery and go to fix permissions, it should sort everything out.
