Hi. This is the first app from PDA4PDA developers .This application, is very easy to use and finger friendly.
Also it has programming ability.so you can write any program for easy with it and recall your program any time.
This program also has CMD using feature that means you can use commands, for doing your calculations and it has some mere abilities like using variants. For using this, you have to go to "My functions" tab and click on CMD button.
But don’t worry! if you want to start programming with it, it's very easy. You can use the programs help to learn it fast.

Guys, there is one very good application released on PocketGear. I have it on my s740 and apart from being perfect new Start Menu with some very very useful features it can route audio to an earpiece when Skype is active. Also it has Task and Process Manager and it is fully animated.
I wrote an article about it at wmpoweruser.com/?p=13748 (still can't post links, sorry for that) with screenshots and with more details. There are some bad comments about design of application, but it looks like people don't realize that this is for Smartphone/Standard device only, with QVGA resolutions most of the time.
Maybe it's just me, but I think that this looks really good for a Smartphone application.
Hy!
Thanks for sharing....looks not bad....a little "Iphone"-Like.....but i like the app "htc3dmenu" from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=427830

I tried many apps to customize the Start-Menu and i think thats the best....its fully animated to....you had to do a little work at the shortcuts but when its done its the best menu ever......
But i will also link yours....

I didn't try that one. Didn't even know it exists
What I like about Ultimate Start is T9 search of applications. Just like in Contacts. Very fast way to get to any application, bookmark or java application.
Many developers are dropping prices (WP7 is getting closer). This application is now only 1$, 80% off!
thanks for posting the link to "htc3dmenu" that looks realy cool!
i use it with the WM 6.5 sliding media panel that gives it a far more newer look than the default one.
thanks!
Hi guys
PS It causes EzInput to go to numeric keypad mode when writing SMS in tmail. Dont know how to fix ((
I would like to share my recent finding.
As you can see from screenshots below i have working HTC Photon (HD Mini) Text Selection on my device. It is a CutCopyPaste functionality from HTC. The most incredible thing is that my device is not a htc device. I have HP Ipaq 614c (QVGA). So i think, if it works for me, should work for all devices.

The only one thing which i dont understand. Why grafics is so bad? I found from web screenshot how it should looks like and it has much better grafics. So i ask a question for more advanced people, which HTC dll library related for grafics?
Cab is attached. Free to try and comment.
And i am not sure about all dependencies. For example, HTCScroll, HTCFramework and HTCShared already included in my device. And i have Manila2D v2.0
I always use ctrl-c/x/v on soft keypad to copy/cut/paste. Will give this a try.
is it possible the use the photon text selection o other place such as Word or note?
No, as i understand only in SMS and Email
Guys, i figured out something more. See screenshot. But this time without selectors.
The selectors are pretty neat, but I definitely like the cleaner look of the text more than the fuzzy icons. Any chance of uploading that second version? Thanks.
Hello, i hope i'm in the right section.
I need some help with display within a game project. I did some research and i can't find a convenient answer. I want to use imageButtons and not just Buttons. I currently use setImageResource (drawable) for my unit and setBackgroundResource (drawable) for background.
I'm missing some info on the screen, let's say HP for an unit or any kind of text.
Here's what it looks like :
I want to have something like this :

Is there a way to do so ?
Thanks for your time

While i'm not completly sure (my month of devolpment hasnt gotten me that far) you should be able to edit the acutal image that you have for the charectors with image editing software like gimp. You just go to the add text tool and add the text that you want to. I will edit this post if i find a more efficent way of doing this.
RTtP (Right to the point)
Download or start up your favorite build.prop editor. (ROM Toolbox is what I use)
After opening your build.prop editor, look for persist.splitwindow.support_all (located a little above the middle of the list)
It'll say False... So simply change it to True and then reboot.
Now test it out. You'll notice real quick why this setting isn't enabled... Not all apps have been scripted to support this feature yet. Feel free to post screen shots of apps that work nicely with this feature "unlocked".
Last thing: I am NOT responsible for any damages to your device. But if you have questions... Fire away.

That was the first mod that I did after rooting my Sprint LG G3 - I went to the Play store and download the pay version of "Multi Window Mod" for LG G3, and you can add only the apps that you want and organize them any way you want - more like my Galaxy S3 with "Multi Window Manager"
I have about 175 apps total so having them all in Multi Window Choice doing it via a Build Prop mod was to overwhelming for me. Yes, I do use that many apps (some more frequent than the others)
Check it out if if you have a lot of apps!
Hi
Need to know something rudimentary.
Is it possible to design/modify the look and feel of the Firefox OS from the device simulator? Not the apps, but the entire Firefox OS GUI.
Thanks.

Hi arjunm009,
FirefoxOS development name is b2g (boot2gecko) there is a beautiful diagram on Mozilla's pages advising how the layers work, see https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Platform/Architecture

Gaia is the GUI, and the part you are interested in.
It is possible to modify Gaia, and Mozilla have a very detailed guide located just here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developing_Gaia
You can also grab the B2G source code and only pull down Gaia this would then let you modify, or even fix and pass back upstream to Mozilla.
You would then need a way to get your changes into the emulator, you can do this on a live device by entering the Gaia directory and typing make gaia, and then reset gaia.
However, on the emulator Mozilla offer the following detailed tutorial on how to see your gui changes in realtime on the emulator running on Firefox:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developing_Gaia/Making_Gaia_code_changes
thanks a lot. this would get me started.
