I have a HTC TyTN II running what seems to be a Diamond Series ROM by Laurentius26 - It is a L26 Diamond Series with the following ID numbers:
R 1.58.25.18
G 25.69.30.05H
D 3.55.00.00
I also have a HTC TyTN that I would like to flash with a ROM as similar as possible.
The main features I am after is having HTC Home plugin, with the latest Windows Mobile Office. I'd like Total Commander too, if possible, most of the rest of the stuff I am after is cosmetic - the diamond skins and themes from the L26 ROM mentioned above - and I'd rather have all these things as part of the ROM so I don't have to reinstall them if I ever purge the device...
I have spent almost a day all up trying to find a matching ROM, but have had no luck and I was wondering if someone with more experience could help me locate one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
how great if you have the manila 3d as well as the 3d cube , there we go ....you will have the most poweful windows 3D device on the planet !
that is the reason that I have started my research on how to make it work in (2nd today) option ....or as a another tab in manila which will act as a gate to the 3 D cube !
after couple weeks of working I discovered the following
Xda developers people have developed this VGA WM6 version for the cube ..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336234
another forum have the same post claiming that is is working for VGA devices !
they also said that you need to instal touch flo !that we have already in our devices ,
I am not really sure if we need touch flo installed .
another thread in xda developers have listed the VGA vube clone cab for in thier WM6 Vanilla ROM .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=342039
this is the link to their CAB
http://rapidshare.com/files/80001724..._Uno_Skin_.zip
I tired to install everything the way they wanted and I got nothing working !
what modifications needed to be done?
good luck and happy new year
the posts i saw said the vga versions aren't ready yet.
damn wanted to skin cube like manilla guess itl have to wait
Is there any rom for my HTC P3400 with cube? I don't like Manilla TF2D. It's slower, hence, want to have cube like "Artermis touch 4.02 with 4 side cube" for my gene also. Any seniors' feedback/ suggestion would be highly appreciated.
Hey guys, i been recently offer a deal on craiglist about trading my htc hd2 for the htc g2.
I was wondering if this is a great deal.
I hate WM, and i am currently running android on my htc hd2. The problem is that its taking too much battery to run it. I like the idea of having a keyboard, yet swype seems a better choice to type in. The screen is much larger on the htc hd2, but hey i don't really need that big of a screen.
Help can't decide.
What are your cons and pros about this?
Thank you
I would stick to the HD2.
- The battery life is depending on which Andriod build you use. My battery last for about 30 hours without recharging.
- NAND install for Andriod is coming really close
- WM aint that bad. The Sence build of HTC makes it all good. Specially when you use a nice and shiny ROM of Miri and Dinik which will be updates with CHT2.0 soon and new skins.
- Swype comes with WM and Andriod, I trully like the touch screen more then a solid keyboard.
- There isnt a phone with better/ much better hardware specs then the HD2
- There isnt a phone with more capabilities then the HD2 (7 OS ports (wm6.x.x, WP7, Meego, Andriod, unbuntu, Win95, Win98, etc), fully changable ROMS, no fabrication limitations)
My conclusion is that there isnt a better phone then the HD2 at the moment. Maybe next year there will be some new phones which will be better. I'm curious about the dual screen mobiles which supports 3D. But how it will work and what the experience of those will be .. i have no clue
