no problem with the previews...but when you rent a movie, nothing plays...i tried rock player with it and the player just closes...i uninstalled rock player thinking it might play on the default media player but that was a no go either...maybe if you purchased the movie?

yeah...I think it is...I downloaded that apk too...got real excited about watching shows and movies on my phone ...rented a movie and it wouldn't work...now I'm out 3 bucks...oh well, good thing I didn't purchase...

hey guys sorry you can install media hub just for test purpose you can watch preview but you can no buy it, because you will not be able to see it.. I believe this is because to the firmware and the scrip movies.......same like Avatar you can transfer preview to any device and you will see it but no the movie same with the media hub but at least you can see preview movies..... we need to wait guys

Hey did you donwload the file to your sd card and then click on it after install on your phone if you have stock you will see 2 icons of media hub one will work the other not..... try both
willl this apk work well in galaxy tab? i have an euro galaxy tab but it doesnt have this app...
Only one way to find out. Install it, download a .99 TV show and see if it works. If not, it only cost you a buck.
Tried on my galaxy tab and nothing, just a black screen with the 3 list links, my account, movie store, and tv store with the new to the hub items across the top which all items are blank and none of the links work, disappointing, see I have a usa galaxy tab from t-mobile which comes preinstalled with a real awesome version of the media hub but I lost the hub when I flashed my tab to the euro firmware to enable phone calling and haven't been able to get it back since, we need someone to back up the media hub from a stock us galaxy tab and upload the file so we can see if it is possible to get it back

Using stock SIM
I was also getting a blank screen (or green screen sometimes) when trying to watch movies. Then I popped in the SIM card that came with the Tab (Broadband only) and I was able to watch movies. I don't mind switching SIM cards if I can have both phone functionality and Media hub. Try this out and see if it workes for you. I made sure to edit the Build.prop file and changed the sales code to ATT first.

Where is this located in the file? I don't see anything called Sales code.

can u post the apk that u used for the atrix? i wanted to see if it would work on my captivate because i tried a while ago when the only blockbuster app they had was for verizon phones and it wouldnt work, but it may work with an att version.

blockbuster app working on unrooted 1.2.6
Hi i was actually i think the first to the the blockbuster app working on my Atrix. i was on stock 1.2.6 unrooted and i was able to watch ondemand blockbuster movies, they sent me 3 $5 credits twords future rentals, used one to try it out and worked great, signing up on the actual site was kinda confusing but not that bad. but back to the point, i just today used the gladix program, to root, and now it says it says "detected device rooted" cannot play certian types of video(dont know what that is , or means). havent tried renting yet with root.

I think that if the Blockbuster site detects that you have rooted your phone, it won't allow you to download the movies. I read about someone who rooted and then unrooted before the first update, and Blockbuster still gave him that message. Movies would not download. However, after this 2nd update for the Atrix software, he no longer got that message, and the movies did download. He wasn't rooted again, though.
Movies don't play over HDMI cable?
I'm not rooted and did download a movie from Blockbuster to try it out. Rather than watch in on my phone, though, I wanted to use the HDMI cable to watch it on the TV screen. However, I got an error message and the movie would not play.
Has anyone else experienced this? Are they only allowing the viewing on the handset itself?
That doesn't seem fair, if you paid for the movie. What is the HDMI cable for, anyway? If I download a movie to my computer, I can use an HDMI cable to show the movie on the TV. Shouldn't this be the same?

Sony PlayStation games are anywhere from 10 to 15 years old, thats why they look this way, the tablet is working fine.
They're not going to look any better on a playstation; it's an old system and that's about as good as games got back then...
That being said, it's still fun and nostalgic to play some of those old titles!

So true! It will be nice to play those classic PS games one more time to remember old times! hehe but I must recognize that as many old video games, I didn't remember them looking so bad! haha but that's just my memory not the tablet!!
By the way there is a software rendering and some other settings for each game which help compatibility with psxperia on native emulator on experia play. See if it helps. I have not strated playing psx games on the tablet as i cannot attach a ps3 controller (maybe because im still on 3.1 fw) and for now xperia play experience is better

I had this, yet it wouldn't open. 1 factory reset later and it's no longer installed
I'll have to try to get my hands on the apk and install it manually. Hate having to find workarounds to things that should just work fine
try opening your video unlimited app; it's synced to the ps store somehow and last time I opened it was when it asked me to upgrade. Just a thought...

its not promotion..Its the new way to make money off paid by giving it for free......developed by Getjar....its not piracy at all,I dont know how it works....I downloaded BW from there long time ago and still running rock solid...

use the default android browser and make sure you have it set to mobile. when you browse to http://m.getjar.com it will auto download the apk and you can install that way

I was able to get Tapatalk, although it gave me an error the first time I tried.
I was also having issues downloading at first using Dolphin browser, but using the stock browser it worked just fine. The first time I tried to DL an app, it said I needed GetJar and linked me to the file.
do you think you can use your PC browser and the quick download code and post it here? what device do you have it set to? I'm currently set on "Free Download".

they're different in the fact that they are currently updated very slowly... getjar just made it available to have developers push their updates... before, you had to know there was an update and redownload the app... i got my first push yesterday, so i see it's working
getjar makes money by sponsors... you'll see them throughout the site

Any ideas? Can someone post the .apk i mean if they are free its not illegal right? And also if i get the .apk, will it update automatically when with the new push system from GetJar?

Thanks, it only worked for Splashtop, TweetCaster Pro and Tapatalk keep saying the device is not compatible i mean wtf!?!? I tried with GS II and Galaxy Nexus and both say not compatible. Anyone that has already downloaded Tapatalk from the GetJar app can tell me the device they are using and the name code so i can modify the Build.prop and download the app.

it has worked with everything in getjar... i have a crash here and there but they all have downloaded...
if you've changed this... reboot... it took awhile for google's android market to see the change... i probably restarted 3 times... even went into webos once and back to cm7...

Yhea i tried with that. i wasn't able to download the Splashtop before changing the build.prop and after changing that and rebooting i could. But i couldn't download the other two apps, i mean i even tried going on the browser to getjar.com and changed my device to the i9100 and even there i can't seem to get the code for the download because i get the same message that my device isn't compatible and im talking about the PC browser. Im gonna change again to the i9100 on the phone and wait a day or so and try again from the app, i don't understand why i have to do all this the app should be compatible.

only ways I can think of is downloading the APK from Google or from some other source, changing the build.prop to reflect a "supported" phone (do not know if this will be a reliable method or not) or else M$ get off there lazy butts and update the app to permit our phone.
Well I got it to work on the S4 and so far it's stable. They way I did it was:
1) Download to a compatible device (for me it was my Galaxy Nexus)
2) Titanium backup
3) Copy backup from GNexus to S4
4) Restore via Titanium backup
5) ?
6) Profit.
I'm sure there is a "more correct" way of doing this.

It's the same thing. Xbox music is the old MS Zune. For some time Zune offered a plan that allowed customers to keep 10 songs a month by downloading the respective mp3s. Others like myself have never cancelled or changed the subscription so we got grandfathered into the Xbox music plan and got to keep our 10 songs/month deal. Ergo my enthusiasm for this coming out as I did not want to subscribe to another music service.
In addition to the music service, I also use my Xbox to watch netflix and hulu. It's nice to have it all in one spot.
Looks like it was updated to work with the S4.

I don't believe it's against the rules... Someone made an APK available for an IR Blaster application.
I believe all you have to do is grab (or pull through ADB) the APK from the phone itself... Root explorer applications should be able to let you copy and paste the APK.

STOP RIGHT THERE AT&T GEAR S WILL NOT WORK WITH SPRINT
Sprint does not have a sim card slot in gear S. AT&T use sim card GSM Sprint uses CDMA no sim card iucc card.
So if you unlock it it will only be able to go to t-mobile (or t-mobiles MVNO companies).

I don't think anyone can get videos to play right now. there is no camera or video in this watch as the Gear 2 had so . Not yet know in future maybe probably not. There is a video folder in the gear when you connect to the computer so theres that.
I know it has no camera but that doessn mean that gear cant play videos transfered from phone we only need video player ...i don't understand why samsung took that out from gear s..

You are correct I have no idea either. if someone figures it out please let me know as there is a video folder just find the proper format somehow and we should be good
I believe the Gear S2( or whatever they call it) will have camera and IR blaster like gear 2 a step up from gear orginal. We got the BETA gear S version.
I just successfully texted myself a video message - which means that the capability for video playback is there.

That I didn't even pay attention. I took video of my son for 15 seconds. Lol. However, I didn't know I had to hook it up to my PC to delete. Lol. Hope they get a file explorer for GS. Lol

I connected my GS to my notebook via cradle. Let it install drivers and all that jazz. And i was good.

Just navigate to your downloads folder from within the Gear that's connected. Either watch the video from there or move it to where you want on PC.
Once i sent it to myself, i could watch right on GS from messaging app. There you have option to save. But I couldn't find in gallery to just view. Which is why I hope a dev will bust out a file explorer. Lol.
