Hey, Please don't rant at me for this, But i've been trying to have android 2.2 on my HD2, I've Tried getting Radio 2.10 , etc etc , but my hd2 keeps crashing and I have to Hard reset. I have an 8GB HCSD card would that effect it?
Can someone fine me the right downloads. ill listen my software info below!

recently my PDA are having lots of problem like suddenly the sound are become silent unless hard reset it....if not i cant hear sms or call,even calling to someone it is oso in silent mode...i dunno how to fix it..but i think if i upgrade the rom then may settle the problems.

I have the following ROM set up on my XDA Neo:
ROM version: 7.0.0.7
ROM date: 7/05/08
Radio Version: 02.47.21
Protocol Version: 4.1.13.24
ExtROM Version: Vincent ROM (ENG)
Whenever I send an SMS my SIM card kind of blocks off. The phone appears to be normal but if someone calls me..the phone rings at their end but on my phone there is no indication it is ringing (not even missed calls). Once I disable my radio and enable it again or soft reset the phone it starts working properly.
Out going phone calls work as usual. Could any one please help me out by either suggesting me a better ROM for my XDA Neo (OMAP850-195MHz) or a possible solution to this issue?

Well i would suggest a newer ROM not sure what you have now and also a new radio rom update the version i run is very good check my signature for details
Hard RESET your phone.
It will solve your Problem
I think Hard reset or flash new rom will solve your problem.

I downgraded my phone to WM 5.0 and it is working perfectly now. Following is the new info about my device:
ROM: 2.20.7.34 WWE
ROM Date 7/10/06
Radio Version: 02.47.21
Protocol Version 4.1.13.24
ExtROM Version 2.20.7.114
My question is whether it is a problem with the SIM card which is not compatible with Windows Mobile 6.0 or other higher versions? Should I stick to WM 5.0 only or try and upgrade to a newer ROM.

Nop. I thinks this problem cause the rom you used. Try another wm6.1 or wm6.5 roms.
tried everything now..i m back to the old wm 5 (and not liking it at all)..the voice is not at all clear in Wm 5...WM 6 is much better but only if my connection problems can be resolved

I just flashed my HTC HD2 512Mo with the new Artemis v28 FRA Rom.
It worked good, everything seems ok with applications. But now i have no signal at all from my provider (who is Mobistar Belgium).
Wifi and GPS works fine, but not my phone :'(
I try to install another Radio Rom, but that change nothing.
I try to flash my HD2 with the original Rom, works good for everything except the phone again!
Someone have an idea?

though when I'm in Windows the signal does sometimes come back up. but in Android there's no connection at all..
I'm guessing the radio would be the problem even though I have installed a couple of them before.. I'll update my Radio (currently: 2.12.50.02_2 protocol: 15.40.50.07U)
Provider: Telfort (NL) and using the KPN network
Rom for wm: 1.48.404.2 NLD (damn, just seeing that helps me realise I might need a rom upgrade for WM )
and android: Shubcraft 1.5, 'nuff said

The question should not be should you upgrade or not .. but are you satisfied how the phone works at the moment?
For me the first thing i did at the day that i got my phone was upgrading it to an other ROM and another Radio version.
I'm now using Artemis v27 and going to upgrade it to Artemis V30 tonight. For me Artemis is a fast and stable ROM which has all i need. (speed and eye candy)
As Radio version i use 2.10.x or 2.12.x
I am looking for a ROM version which maybe old, but I am very used to it:-
Manila Version : 1.0.19211620.0
Rom Version : 1.48.831.0(71294)WWE
This is a English rom (English menu) with Chinese character support. (it displays chinese words and I can handwrite Chinese SMS without installing any additional cab.)

I'm just a basic user. I just wonder why the HD2 got so many different kinds of ROM/Radio & Manlia versions? Mine is using :
HK ROM : 1.72.831.1 (82124) WWE
Manila : 1.0.19211620.0
Radio : 2.07.51.22_2
But I can't find any upgrade from HTC. So how can I upgrade my HD2 to those versions mentioned in the other threads? Like Manila 2.5 to use CHT, Radio 2.10+ to try the Android ...
