Did someone bought a new housing cover on eBay with light sensor "led" (opposite of power led)?

Hello,
first let me say how glad i am that this forum exists.
I´ve got an Wallaby (MDA1) which has an broken LCD Touchscreen. But only the Sensorpad is broken, not the LCD. Is it possible to change the Touchsensor only without the LCD Display? Is the Sensor glued on the LCD diplay or just layed over or pressed by screws?
I would be glad for good news....
Now i know much more.....
the sensorpad can be changed. at Ebay the hole sensorpad is available for 29€. The Pad (Glas with glued foil) is glued on the case of the LCD. Now i have ordered the Sensorpad and i´ll tell you how it´s ended....
LCD Touch screen display
Hi!
I just bought a kind of this touchpad. As you wrote, on ebay is easy to buy a piece. But, there are huge differences between the prices! I ordered this item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=300146530292&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=020
On the picture seems the backlight's flex cable, but in the packet is the good part. The touchpad on a pane of glass.
I think, this is the cheapest price on ebay. The packing and shipping was good, the seller is OK!
Successfully changed!
Yesterday I successfully changed a touch screen display on a Wallaby.
I had a device, with broken display. I saw, just the LCD was broken. Touch screen was unscathed. It is not too difficult to disassemble the complete display. The touch screen comes out with the plastic and metal frame.
Why is it interesting? Because I had the typical screen alignment "loop" failure. So, I can say, that this is definitely hardware failure. Exactly, the fail of the touch screen layer!
I´ve changed the Touchpad today. It works but the display doesnt.F**K. So i have to look for a hole new display....

Has to be a cover with a magnet in it.
Get the moko case from amazon, i love it and it has the screen off functionality with the magnets, plus its only $20

I bought this one (haven't received it yet though)

I picked it because the bottom easily slides off, so I can still put it in the charging dock.
It also has the magnet for turning the screen on/off
Hi ,
I replaced the glass on my S3 after a small fall, but I managed to break the ribbon cable for the back/menu buttons.
How exactly do you replace this cable? Does the digitizer have to come out ?
Cheers
Paul
Hello,
I seriously need help.
I replaced the glass of my s3 and, I think I did a pretty darned good job. But I have a problem. My return and menu buttons don't respond to touch, they light up though.
I don't believe there is anything wrong with the ribbon. Does anyone know if the ribbon relays touch or is that the glass/digitizer. I was of the impression that the ribbon is simply a light transmitter.
Anyways Help please, I'm not sure what I did wrong it looks great, I took the glass off and pushed the ribbon buttons (using the black square adhesive that came with the ribbon - should I remove it - ) to stick them to the areas of the glass that would need the light. To make sure they were flush and had contact to the glass.

I have a Redmi Note 3 Pro for about half a year and I have my screen broken and my back cover a bit beaten up. I know how to change my screen, LCD and bezel but I don't know how to change the back cover because of the fingerprint sensor. Does anybody know how to transfer the fingerprint sensor to the new housing? Thanks in advance.
There's supposed to be a little ribbon cable connecting the fpc to the housing, disconnect it and you should be able to connect that to your new housing.
