My NFL mobile app just stopped working all of a sudden. I've been using it for about two weeks with no problem on my Vibrant now today it gives me an Error "NFL content for Verizon users only" why stop working now? Are they recording IP addresses?

Hey all, still working good here. I changed the number and all is good. Please forgive me for not sharing since it is my friend's number. However, the problem does not seem to be major. Just get a new number and you'll be right as rain!

How do you change the number?
You can use the NFL unlocker application. I just used it and my NFL mobile works again. I used my friends verizon number. Here is a link

You guys arent getting the Trojan Threat when you extract the file? I've tried downloading the same thing from different links and each time I get the same threat...

Are you experiencing any issues?
Yesterday around 3pm I used my phone as a modem for my laptop and it worked fine no issues. But later on at night around 9pm when I tried using the internet it would keep redirecting me to the T-Mobile Tethering Plan page stating I had to now pay for that service.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Is there a way around this issue?
Btw I am rooted and using Bionix 1.3.1
Might be the Rom you are using! I am using Axura 2.3.1.3 Voodoo Rom and have no issues. Try using a different Rom! Had that same issue when using stock froyo Rom!

Ive never had that happen and ive been tethering forever, granted i dont go overboard with it and use it sparingly. How much do you tether? if its alot that may be the cause.

I have a Optimus V rooted and running the Reborn Rom. I was wondering if there was a way to configure or mod or fix the Sprint TV app so it works on the Optimus V? I have the app and it runs but when I try and click anything gives me and error message saying its having trouble communicating and if to try again later. Is there away around this maybe PRL? or is this not possible? any help you could give would be of great assistance

I had another thought, to install netflix you had to change some lines or programming to think it was an HTC phone. Maybe this would work if we changed it to think the TV app thinks the phone is a sprint phone? Optimus S maybe?

No, it identifies your phone and carrier through the towers, that's why you can't use it with wifi, it probably goes by your MLS number, Netflix just searched for phone model in the phone its self

So a no go unless you could find a way to change the way the app checks ur fone. Too bad LG world isn't supported by Virgin Mobile either :-(

I am having a strange problem on the Google play market store, whenever I try to Download or update an app on 4G it gives me a message saying "waiting for network" and it just hangs there and does not start the Download process but when I switch back to 3G it starts the download right away which would be fine if my 3g wasn't so dam slow...Can anyone help? I'd really rather not download over 3g, I have tried clearing the cache for the play store app but the problem remains. I am able to do everything(browse the net, stream video, etc) on 4g except download apps from the store...wtf?

I am. I thought it was from flashing ZR3DX. It stopped working right after flashing it.
Hmm interesting, mine stopped working out of the blue as well...I have been using mean Rom 3.92 for over 4 months and it was working fine until recently. Have you found any work around? Could it be something wrong with the Google play store and not our phones?

Not our Rom or our phone. Some one over at the HTC EVO shift forums have the same issue. I say its the update. So what we need to do is downgrade the play store and break the damn auto update..... Any thoughts on how? :c

I saw a Sprint Users.com forum where all sorts of Wimax phones are having the issue currently (OG Evo, EG4T, etc). Mine's been having problems since last night. I just disabled 4G and it immediately started downloading. Unfortunately 3G is horribly horribly slow in Raleigh, NC these days. Might as well be using the Edge network. Ugh.
researching varisous forums...multiple handset manufacturers, and multiple carriers. Google has been blaming Sprint, but I also see similar posts on Virgin Mobile and (at least one mention of...) Verizon.

For me it works fine on 3g and wifi, but 4g is broken. "WAITING FOR NETWORK" is all it says. Been on the same Rom for the last 4 months. So Yea this is definitely not the phones.
update: I uninstalled all updates for the google play app and it downloaded perfectly. Now I honestly can't see how this isn't anything other than a bad update from google.
update: however this only works once per app since the market updates and then when the next app starts Bam! Waiting for network.

Guys try uninstalling the updates as one of you mentioned but also go into system/app and delete MarketUpdater.apk. Copy it to your sdcard somewhere first. And after deleting reboot.
I don't have 4g and never used it but if your looking to use a version of Play Store that won't update that's the way to do it.

This started this evening for me - I ask S-Voice, "What's the weather like outside?" and it spends some time thinking before returning with "No weather results, sorry"
Sometimes it returns with "Network error. Please try again"
When I ask about birthdates of my contacts, mathematical problems, weights and measures conversions and it responds correctly - unless it returns with "Network error. Please try again"

I just got my S III today and I am having the same problem also.
Same issue for me too. Was working pretty good a couple of days ago, now - not so good. Tried it on 4g and wifi. No weather results and Network error.

Anyone know what this is? I started getting these on the sense 5 rom and now I'm stock and got it again. Happened when a friend tried to send a pic. They had to send it twice for it to work.

It's a WAP push. Something to do with the MMSc.
I got those when I went from a feature phone to smartphone.
I blocked the number but a call to CS should fix it. I'm blaming the iPhone.

It only started happening after I ran AOSP and Sense 5 based roms recently. Got it on sense 5 and restored and started getting it on stock as well. I tried googling the issue and got nothing. Not sure verizons goons are gonna be able to do anything.
Verizon support is not the best. Most don't even know what they are talking about. When I called once to get my data working again on my continuum the guy who I got had the same phone and he said he had the same problem but his data was just turned off and he didn't even know...

Could it have something to do with the MMS proxy being set wrong in the APN settings? Are you running one of the Sense 5 ROMs designed for GSM use?

Nope. Was running NOS vzw sense 5 and never messed with my APN. Seems like thats all normal though. Only happens when my friend with her iphone tries to send me a pic. The message in thr screenshot will show up and she'll have to send again for it to work. Android to android seems to work fine.

Google search for vnd.wap.mms and you'll find info. It should've cleared itself by now though.
