Has anyone seen stores selling or release dates for these first-party accessories made by Sony Ericsson? I'd prefer US dates or store links, but I don't mind importing.
LiveView (I know it was just announced, but I haven't seen anything more specific than Q4 2010)
Compact Car Charger AN401 (with USB cable) or Compact Car Charger AN400 (without USB cable)
Car Kit CK100 or Universal Car Holder AN150
Micro USB Charger that shipped with the phone (uses whatever USB cable you want), not the EP310

Hi
The DS970 is a great stereo headset (with the adp fix). Works with VC1.6 too (with the VC1.6 hack)
I can't track down a car charger anywhere. Not even any from China or Hong Kong on ebay!
Has anyone found one for sale anywhere in the world?
Any carcharger for a Sonyericsson phone with the new connector should work.
Yes, using the DS970 on the 8525. Wish I could find one too. If I do, I'll let you know.
Skipping is almost gone with A2DPfix, now if I could find a way to make them sound as good as the 970 with a high end Sony Walkman phone....
I heard back from Sony on what is needed:
"Thank you for contacting Sony Ericsson Online Support.
The car charger you need for this is the same one that our phones take which is a cst-60 and it is available on http://sonyericsson.com or by phone at 1-866-837-7290

I will be hunting for one today! I did get 5 hours of listening to audio yesterday - the battery life seems to be improving.
but the connector showing on their site for the CST-60 looks different to the connector on the mains charger I have for the DS970? Mine is a CST-61 or maybe a CST-81
I found a charger that works at Fred Meyers (part of the Kroger family) for $14.99. Brand is ComPro model info: PC-ERIK750-QC "Compatible with K750/J300a W600/W800 Z520a. It looked right, and I plugged it on and the headset started charging up like it should. CompUSA and Staples didn't even carry a single Sony car charger.
It does like different than the OEM wall charger, but you just use one prong which lines up the 2 connectors on the headset just fine.
I see what you mean on the Sony site, I can't even find a CST-60...I see a CLA-60. My nephew has the Walkman 950i, and his charger works for his DS970 too. The CLA-60 is listed as compatible with his phone.

It's for a phone and the connector looks different but should work with the headset anyhow. I used a friends charger from a Sonyericsson K610 phone and it worked just fine.
OK, good info. Thanks
I have one question, does miniusb cable will fit with this device or need special cable ?
the blueangel has a special port, there are adapters for notebook chargers, which covers a AC-supply generalisation, but there is no standard usb cable to use. i recently got a universal and i have to say i love the mini-usb port, since you can use all new htc accessories and everything you got lying around, i actually sync my device with a cable that came with a card reader, all that, unfortunately, is not possible with the ba
I realised this yesterday after 23:58 Very bad - i don't know where to find original cable or some connector pinout. Even my siemens unlocking cable don't work.
Nothing, phone will stay with german rom, wm2003. Even flashing via sd card not possible
Blue Angel usb cables can easily be found online if you look for them I purchased a couple for 10 dollars or less.
They tended to come with a USB docking station, this is what you'd use to sync it to a computer.
I am selling one, but postage could be an issue...

okey so i broke my usb charger cable today. its the end that goes into the tablet that is broken. i live in norway and there is NO ONE (in stores nor online) that sells 201 cables, anywhere. but there is a few stores that sells 101 usb cables. are those compatible with my prime? i dont want to damage my tablet by using something that isnt compatible.
is there any other third party cables that works?
Yes, the TF101 cable (and charger) will work.
Yes, there are 3rd party cables out there, but I'd stick with a major supplier...That's too critical an item to buy from China directly,
I have bought stuff from this company (in California, USA) with no issues, and their prices are fair.

I have a few 3rd party cables from eBay and they work fine with the TF201 although they are shorter. However if your charger is damaged and not just the cable you will want to replace it with an official Asus charger.
Can the USB otg and HDMI be used at the same time?
My situation now is that I have the Moga Pro Power that I picked up at the pawn shop for $40
Noticed that it has quite a bit of lag using the A-mode, and still a noticeable amount of lag in B-mode, approximately 100ms.
So I'm wondering if it's possible to connect a wired controller via USB otg, and if that might have less input lag.
I'm also curious if I can output to HDMI while connected to a wired USB controller.
If I could create like a docking station on my TV that turns my phone into a mean little media station/console, that would be completely badass.
I saw this adapter on Amazon and eBay, it connects to the phone's microusb on one end, and has ports for HDMI, SD, Micro-SD, USB, and a Micro-usb for powering the phone and any attached USB device at the same time. You can find it by searching "otg slimport" on Amazon or eBay.. Selling for under $13 on eBay. Unfortunately, the same product on Amazon has only a 2 star rating. Reviews saying the charging port isn't working as advertised, and HDMI connection is touchy, and certain TVs are incompatible. So it looks like a no-go. China will manufacture and sell just about any hodgepodge of wires and plastic they think consumers will buy, that doesn't mean it will work.
So now I'm wondering if this sort of function is even possible, and if so, is there a product available that can provide it, and if there is no product like that, can somebody please make it?
So I did a bit of research, and it seems there's definitely some technical limitations as far as charging the phone wile in "host" mode. This means that while connected to USB OTG, the circuitry that is normally used to charge the phone, is used to supply power to the attached USB devices. I found a site that has a modified kernel for the Nexus 7 that enables charging the phone while connected to devices via OTG. https://mehrvarz.github.io/usb-host-mode-power-management-nexus7/
Maybe this could be implemented in the V10
While I have a Note 10 plus, this will work for any phone that has a USB C port. A company I have worked with many times before it's looking for honest reviews of their new products and you'll get one for free. I found out about it here on XDA a few years ago and wanted to share so others could join in. Who doesn't want free accessories for their phone
They current have a USB C to 3.5mm adapter (2 pack). Basically, you buy the adapter, post a true review, and he'll reimburse you via PayPal for the adapter. I've personally reviewed a number of products he sells and they have been great.
He also has an 8K HDMI, and USB extension, if you're interested.
If interested, contact Jayson at [email protected]

Speaking of the adapter, it's awesome. My car's Bluetooth is not reliable, so when it goes out, I need an adapter to connect my phone to the car because stupid Samsung killed the headphone jack. This adapter fixes that issue. Unlike others, this one for nicely into the USB port (many are cheap and feel like it's going to break my phone), it looks good, and the sound is crystal clear. Well with it...
