Hey, how do I reinstall mobi tv. I really liked the service, but have lost it since flashing Bionix's 1.6. I've located the .apk in wesgarner's Vibrant System Dump, but after I install it just opens to a black screen. Any ideas? Anyone?

I have tried to push the black market to the nook, but I think I am either missing a step or the NC has a different framework. Anyone else want to take a shot.
Tried:
- remove both V and v (vending.apk) and reinstall 2.2.7 then push black over the original
- downgrade to 2.2.6 and push black 2.2.7 over it
- attempt install as apk (fail)
One thing that is common to those actually being successful is the use of CWM or nandroid, neither of which we have just yet. Any help would be great. Thanks
Hi everyone!
I have installed Gallery 3D in the past and i seem to have completely erased the stock Gallery app using Root Explorer.
The problem is, i have just purchased the official home dock and i think i need to revert to the original Dell gallery.
Can someone please help me on this one?
Could you provide the required .apk or is it more complicated than that?
If everything fails, should i reflash the stock ROM?
If so, all i have to do is download the .pkg, rename it to update.pkg and update from SD Card?
Thank you very much in advance!
Strange, since they should be the same app as it's made by the same person. From what I know google bundled gallery3d as their official app for froyo.
Whichever it is here's a copy of 318's gallery3d, if you reflash by using the pkg remember it erases all your data so remember to back it up first!
(On stock 318 it's odexed, so remove the apk on the end of the odex file and copy both to system/app, it wont work if either is missing, forum wont let me upload it with that extension)
Thank you
Thank you sir for the prompt reply!
Think is, i am looking for the original stock 318 froyo gallery, not the 3D one, since the 3D one is not working with the HDMI dock. I think, that is.
Maybe i will try to install what you gave me first.
After much messing about and almost bricking my phone I've finally got it on a version of 2.2 which will run the standard upgrade but I have a problem. This version (compared to the older official UK o2 I had) has copilot pre installed on it which when I checked the permissions is down for full access to making calls, texts, viewing contacts, etc.. Basically all the stuff you wouldn't allow an app to do normally and as I have no need for it I went to the apps on settings to delete it but when I select it the option to uninstall isn't highlighted, does anyone know how to get rid of this??
you need to use root manager or system manager delete the apk from system/app
hope that helps.
Cheers, gonna try and get it rooted then. Already tried z4root but it didn't work so having a go with superoneclick!
Also do you know of a way to stop the update available message coming on??
root with superuser via streakmod or clockworkmod....not sure about the update message. I am on 351.
Done, was a bit unsure bout if I was doing it all right but it's all looking good so far thanks!!
Will look into the update to 2.2.2 and see what can be done with that once I've had a play with the root!!
I was playing around with rootexplorer and accidentaly deleted live wallpaper. I found threads here which helped me reinstall livewallpaper(I did it with rootexplorer method). I can now open livewallpapers installed from market but not the ones that were preinstalled on optimus. I especially wanted 'water and leaves' one.
Hope that someone can help me.
Flash this from recovery.
flashed from recovery......but still the problem remains the same
any one please?

So what is your problem exactly? The wallpapers are not offered in the menu, or what does "cannot open" mean?
they are in the menu....but when i try to open them, following message appears 'application Android Live wallpapers(process com.android.wallpaper) has unexpectedly stopped'.
anyone please?
wat rom u using?
standard ROM which came with Optimus. Froyo 2.2.1
So why don't you update to 2.2.2? Should reinstall everything incl. the walpapers just fine.
hi xda
i deleted the stock messaging app from my galaxy s2, austalian optus branded, and cannot get it reinstalled!
i rooted the phone then uninstalled it without backing up 1st(brain fart) and now it turns out hancent wont receive mms messages without the stock app.
i have unrooted, put original kernal back, factory reset the device and also reinstalled the optus rom from this site with no success.
i have tried reinstalling the app via root manager and other apps but when i try it says "app not installed". i have tried moving the mms.apk and mms.ode file to the /system/app folder and rebooting...still no good!
im currently downloading the stock rom from here(GT-I9100_XEU_I9100XWKE7_I9100XXKE4_I9100XEUKD1(1).zip) and will install to see if that changes anything but im thinking it wont.
ive searched the net and this site and still cant find anything that works!
so if anyone could shed some light on how to reinstall it or point me in the right direction would be great!
*update*
thanx if you were about to reply, seems i just needed a compatible mms.apk and iinstalled fine.

Download the Rom package and extract it using winrar. Inside that you will be having the img file. Extract that rfs file and inside the directory "system\app" you will find the default message application. jus copy and paste it in your mobile using root explorer.
