[Rom][Theme][Froyo][EclairSense][A2EXT]Ported themed/roms YAY taking requests.. - myTouch 3G Slide Android Development

OK this is a fully working rom with a theme thrown onto it for differentiation. YAY for big words lol
OK check THIS out for full system r/w access (same as whats implemented into the system force 2.5 themed rom) if you want it dl the no kernel version and follow the instructions i have under the system force changelog or in the thread
upcoming themed sense: Smokin green, clear as a bell, Black Eclair, and various rosie colors

This is an espresso nightly 124 with google apps installed and working a2ext already added and working completely. Dalvik-cache is not moved automatically and therefore some steps must be taken:
Open up a terminal
su
cd /system/bin/
sh a2sd cachesd
phone will reboot
The reboot will take up to and more then 5 minutes this is expected so do not be alarmed if this takes a long time!!
A little bit about this theme: It will not look exactly like the original because well a few of the originals images were no longer in the original rom so a couple things are different:
1. The dialer isnt as themed (the buttons)
2. The power control widget is slightly different
3. The lockscreen is clear(this means that i have made all of the buttons clear so you actually need to know where they are originally to be able to use them)
4. To get all of your apps to have the custom icons you need to download and app called bettercut or one similar and download the icon pack free in the market(don't whine you have a2ext so memory isn't an issue)

launcher42 was added for anyone that doesn't like ADW or LauncherPro. it is the basic launcher2 edited by cyanogen himself so credits to him. [it is not themed to match the theme may update that later if people really like it or will remove if its not needed]

should i keep LauncherPro or end support? i havent updated to the latest release version... It seems popular though. So the Question is keep launcher pro and remove adw or keep adw and remove launcher pro or....... keep both just install each on the data partition so you can uninstall the one you dont want????

dialer edits
ADWLauncher edits: to keep the dock background looking even you need to keep the AB scale factor at 5 or lower otherwise the secondary action buttons will be too big and mess things up

Based on the LegendToSlide rom
*Glitches with that rom are still in this one[landscape is wonky and no keyboard lights]
*Added a2ext>/sdext [ext2 or 3 only] [automatic]
*have an overclock update.zip to make this thing really fly[edited to not break wifi, max on this is 930 but that is an error as the phone doesnt support 930 but 940[now i know not everyones phone will clock that high so i have edited the rom to boot up at 600mhz and you can clock up to wherever you want[DO NOT check the start on boot with setcpu just incase you clock it too high otherwise you will have a bootloop]]]
*dalvik-cache is not automatically moved but is simple enough if you have ever ran a rom i added a2ext to [terminal or adb]>adb shell[terminal=su]>cd /system/bin/[terminal=same]>sh a2sd cachesd[terminal=same]>phone reboots may take a while to boot properly but all is well
*think that is all for now>may look into keyboard light issue but as someone more experienced then me failed dont hold your breath
*Rom is fast as crap even when only overclocked to 800's [everything loads instantly no lag great great great which is why i chose this over the other sense roms]

For those wondering why i didnt choose to use gratious slide here is the reason: I must have wifi and since it is currently broken i cant use the rom...When it is fixed i will drop the legend rom and may start theming it depending on how migueltherocker feels about it.

Yeah I get what you mean, I was thinking of porting Flavored Ice but it was pretty similar to Prodigal Sun in the sense that it's just different color versions of the same theme, so I didn't. Not to mention resizing from hdpi to mdpi.

lol i thought about porting that one as well but decided not to! i rmr using a couple back in the day that i will try and port. gaia is one and luminescence is another as for anything else i will wait on request til then i will finish prodigal sun porting i seemed to have gotten behind lol

there was an mdpi version of that theme though. ill get the thread asap.... well there used to be a version but i guess its gone now but the hdpi version is waaaaaayyyy better then the older mdpi version

gaia has now been added to the 4th post. slight error with the keyboard as seen in the screenshots but will fix and reupload soon. Everything is automatic same with the others just gotta move dalvik-cache manually see 1st post

Glad I could help.... aaand just so people can check out and choose something for you to port here is a really cool page to a lot of themes, is just an organized way to see all the themes that have been posted here in xda cause the links send you to the respective OP xD but there are lots of them with screenshots of course... here ---> click click click n_n the themes shown there are the most popular but you can see the whole bunch if you click archives in the right top and then expand all months. Or simply going here
